Another beautiful volume in the series, A Clockwork Assassin sees Lady Mechanica on the trail of a mysterious female killer who appears to be hunting down a group of men who worked together on a secret arms project in the past. The sheer strength displayed in the attacks make Mechanica the prime suspect, but as well as clearing her name, the realisation that her friend may be the next target is motivation for her to track down the real killer.
As always, this book is visually stunning, the attention to detail is nothing short of spectacular. The use of a more muted and sombre colour palette suits the dark storyline.

I was able to read a free copy of the first installment of the Lady Mechanika: La Dama de la Muerte before. I was really amazed by how great that issue is and I promised that someday I would try to check the other stories in the Lady Mechanika series.

And now, I saw that there's another free reading copy of the incredible this comic book. I was ecstatic to get my hands on this digital copy, and I'm really happy and amazed at how great the tandem of Benitez and Chen in coming up with this another awesome story.

I'm looking forward to reading the other upcoming adventures of Lady Mechanika. This, in particular, is a worthy-read and really recommendable.

I haven't read the previous 3 volumes, but this was a fun surprise. Great story and stark art style in this graphic novel.

Where do I even begin with this comic?? I have been an avid fan of Lady Mechanika and her exploits since I received her first comic at Free Comic Book Day. When I saw that there was an ARC for one of the comics I jumped at the chance. Once I picked up this comic there was no setting it down. From beginning to end the story captivated me and I had to know who was responsible for the ghastly murders that were happening. Aside from the amazing story line, the artwork was just as captivating. I have yet to be disappointed by how beautifully drawn these comics are, and the crazy detail that is included. Each crease of clothing, each button, everything is painstakingly drawn in an uber realistic way that draws you in and keeps you wanting more.
I can say that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this comic, except that I wish it was longer.
Lady Mechanika is a study of poise, power, and overwhelming intelligence. Enhanced with machinery she is unlike any other.
