A short and cute story that will appeal to younger pre-readers who are learning to deal with negative feelings in social situations. The illustrations are incredibly pleasantly bizarre and eye catching.

This was a cute story, but I was expecting more from it as far as seeing Ira process and deal with her feelings. I liked how her friend stood up for himself and made his own choice, even if it was something his friend didn’t necessarily want, and I also liked that Ira acknowledged her feelings. The illustrations were really eye-catching! Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!

This book would be a good addition to my small group counseling sessions. I would stress communication, feelings, and problem solving. Thanks to Owlkids Books for the ARC of this title via NetGalley.

This one is the, relatable, and full of some moments to giggle (who hasn’t felt left out? Who hasn’t wanted to be cheered up when you’re feeling your feels?! Who doesn’t love a good fart joke?). The formatting isn’t quite ready with this one it seems— but it’s cute, clear, and silly and I think young humans will appreciate it and be reminded it’s okay (and human!) to have all their feels.
