I am once again thankful for another volume of new releases! As the season changes, I enjoy becoming lost in romance books. This volume of new 2018 romances has allowed me to preview several new books, and add them to my t0-read list for the winter!

Romance is a genre I enjoy and I have some favourite books and series from when I was younger like the Wild Hearts series by Cherie Bennett or the Point Romance series as well as the Making Out/ Boyfriends and Girlfriends series by K.A. Applegate.

As an adult, I have less pure romance on my shelves but still enjoy the genre. I have even tried writing some romance into my own books.

With romance being one of my less-chosen genres because I did not know about well known or recommended romance authors, I requested this book out of my own curiosity of wanting to know what books in the genre are currently out there.

I'm glad I did request it as I came away with good recommendations. The excerpts were a good, quick and effective way to get an idea for each author's style since they were all new authors to me.

Whether you read a lot of romance, are looking for something new or are new to the genre, this book is for you.

4 stars. Thanks to the authors and publisher for my ARC in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.

I really liked the chance to find out if these stories were what I wanted to read. I have to say there were several I will be looking for.

Lots and lots of interesting teasers from a variety of upcoming new romance releases. Many have links to the full version at the end of the sample. Good variety and something for most romance readers. Found it very interesting and helpful.

I enjoyed reading the excerpts of other books within this book. It gave a window into several books that I was interested in continuing to read. I was able to request them at the end of each excerpt if I was interested. I was approved to read four of them which I am in the process of doing. It is a great way to find new books. Some of the authors I was familiar with but most I was not. I will be looking for more books by the authors and hopefully more editions of Buzz Books in the future.

This is a great way to see what is on the horizon, and get a sneak peak of some of the new books coming out. My favorite of these is hands down is In a Badger Way. I was really into reading it when *poof*... that was the end of the sneak peek. I can't wait for the book for itself.

Great preview of published titles and upcoming titles for the 2018 year. I was familiar with many of the authors listed. If this was done for debut romance novelists as well, I know I would use it.

Very nice diverse selection of romance reads, as per usual from Publishers Lunch. I usually find something that intrigues me whenever Buzz Books comes out with new releases to watch, and I found at least five authors in this selection that I plan on reading the full galley for. Jane Feather's "Tempt Me With Diamonds" will be my first read from the author, but it interested me given the circumstances of the heroine in the first few chapter encountering someone she didn't expect living in her brother's house - her old flame. Priscilla Oliveras had my attention with "Their Perfect Melody" because I liked Diego and Lili's personalities to start. I have never read a full book by Helen Hardt, so I'm giving "Unchained" a try from this collection - in sum a vampire on the run from his captive master meeting an ER nurse.. The premise and the excerpt intrigued me enough to give it a try. A few others I requested as galleys include Judith McNaught and Meg Tilly. In the end, I'm glad that I had the chance to peruse this collection and am looking forward to reading more from the authors here, as well as future Publisher's Lunch compilations.

If you are interested in knowing what constitutes the romance genre and what books are forthcoming, this is an excellent resource. In addition to an introduction, there are lists of books by subcategory, for example, paranormal romance, so you can easily find your interest. There are also a number of summaries and excerpts to read. Romance readers should enjoy this publication.

I loved this collection of book excerpts and reviews for up and coming books. I loved the previous Buzz Books collections, and once again this one had me scoping out a bunch of new books, and adding them all to my TBR. I am most excited for Magnolia Lane, and Intercepted.

A huge thank you to NetGalley for sending me a digital copy of these book previews in exchange for an honest review. I truly appreciate it!

Such a great premise, where you can hear about different books and authors, maybe new to you. Read snippets of some of these. It is like being able to taste something before you buy, or try on before you buy. Thank you Publishers Lunch

I love these books that give you a few chapters of a book. The format has introduced me to many new authors I had never heard of and may not have stumbled across on my own. The few chapters gives me a feel for their writing style and whether or not I will enjoy the whole book.. In some cases I may not be enamored of the writing but the storyline grabs me and I just have to buy the full version.. They also allow you to invest 10-15 minutes which might just be the amount of time you wait to get into an appointment.

From this edition I especially like The Memory House by Rachel Hauck, Judith McNaught's The Sweetest Thing, Kate Pearce's The Rancher, Say You're Sorry by Karen Rose and Solace Island by Meg Tilly.
