AMAZING! This book was amazing. I read a LOT of Christian suspense/mystery books and "In Too Deep" was superb. I adored Sabrina and I really want to be a part of the gang's group of friends. I loved the humor element in the book, I laughed out loud multiple times, which was a great addition to the mystery and danger of the book. This had a great mystery and the character I suspected as one of the main bad guys was completely wrong, and with the amount of cozies and suspense books I read as well as the cop shows I watch that is HARD to do. I loved the first book in this series and now with this one, this series is safely my favorite suspense series ever. I need Gabe and Anissa's story NOW!

"It's not that I'm not a morning person," Anissa said. "But no one is a four-hours of sleep person. I can't even pretend to be perky on anything less than five."

"We never ratted him out for being in love with Sabrina, did we?' Gabe laughed so hard he choked on his cookie. Anissa speared Ryan with her most disapproving look. Sabrina looked up from her laptop and shrugged. "You've already told me it was love at first sight, so this really isn't new information."

Very well thought out and written whodunit and why are they doing it? Never be able to guess the end of this twisted tale. Enjoyed reading this even with a few flaws. Can't tell what one is because it will be revealing part of one of the surprises that occur, but the other one is that I thought Sabrina's and Alex's on-off romance was a bit much. But it all worked out at the end, of course. I saw that Ms. Blackburn has another book out about "Dive Team Investigations" and I will check that out now. Happy reading!

In Too Deep is a non-stop action-packed suspense novel that keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very last page. Lots of plot twists as Adam Campbell tries to solve a murder with the help of college professor and computer genius Sabrina Fleming. I love Sabrina’s quirky character as she tries to explore her feelings for Adam. The intriguing story line kept me hooked with the constant threat of danger. I highly recommend for fans of suspense novels. It’s the second book in the Dive Team Investigation series, but it could be read as a stand-alone (although Beneath the Surface is another great suspense read.)

In Too Deep is the thrilling second instalment in the Dive Team Investigations series. I think, if it’s possible, I loved this book even more than the first one. The writing style is so easy to sink into - perfectly balanced between details and dialog. The characters are a wonderful team of friends that I love hanging out with. The mystery totally hooked me and the ending was a big surprise. And the romance is utterly charming. In Too Deep had everything I look for in a romantic suspense novel and I can very highly recommend it.

When Adam Campbell and his fellow dive team investigators help recover a submersed car and the body found within, they are shocked to find a message that seems to tie the case to Adam himself. Adam calls on computer forensic analyst Dr Sabrina Fleming to decrypt the dead woman’s computer and help piece together the clues of the case. But someone is willing to do anything to keep their secrets safe, and Adam and Sabrina and the rest of the dive team soon find themselves in a killer’s crosshairs.

In Too Deep returns readers to the wonderful dive team. Like the first book in this series, there isn’t a whole lot of diving involved, just the initial recovery of the submersed vehicle, but the team works closely together to untangle the case. Familiar characters from the first book are all present, and it’s wonderful to return to this close group of friends and colleagues.

I do love a good bit of detective work, and that’s exactly what Adam, Sabrina, Gabe, Anissa, and Ryan have to do to uncover the details of why the woman’s death and how her accounting work seems to link to human trafficking. From undercover work at grand parties to deep dives into the woman’s life, forensic accounting and even using personal memories to piece together the case. There is also plenty of action as the team must fight to survive a killer’s wrath - from up-close attacks to rocket launch blasts. And the best thing? I totally didn’t see the ending or the bad guy coming, so the end was a big surprise and it was awesome to be kept so in suspense.

Throughout the novel, alongside the action and detective work, there is the developing relationship between Adam and Sabrina. I really enjoyed these characters, both as individuals and as a couple. Sabrina is deliciously clueless about Adam’s feelings for her, and about social interactions in general, which made her hugely likeable and relatable. She is also clever on a genius level, so she has an important role to play in the case. Adam is charming and a gentleman, but also a little shy. He has loved Sabrina from afar for the past two years and never worked up the courage to ask her out or fill her in on his feelings for her. I also really liked that there was no professional reasons or restrictions that kept Adam and Sabrina from exploring the growing feelings between them as they work the case.

Full of suspense, a complicated case, solid detective work and a charming love story, In Too Deep was deliciously delightful. I cannot wait for the next book (please, please let it be Gabe and Anissa’s story). While the series flows really nicely with the continuation of the main characters in each book, there is no reason you couldn’t read these as standalone titles. So what are you waiting for? Lynn Blackburn takes us into book 2 in her Dive Team Investigations series with this offering and it's quite a good ride, too! Investigator Adam Campbell is called to the scene of a car submerged in a lake and there is a very cryptic clue on the victim. All the team have is her laptop and a few flash drives. Enter Dr. Sabrina Fleming, who is a crazy good computer forensics expert and professor. Between them and other members of the team, they hope to solve this crime quickly. However, soon Adam's family is implicated and both Adam and Sabrina have attempts made on their lives. What has the victim discovered that someone wants to keep hidden so badly that they want to murder again to keep that from happening?

Deftly told, Blackburn immerses (pun intended) her readers into the action from the very beginning and keeps them occupied until the very last page is turned. I couldn't wait to finish it. Now I look forward to the next in the series very much. Highly recommended.

Lynn Blackburn is a great author who get you sucked right into the story. I loved reading about Adam and sabrina. They are so perfect for each other! And I was totally surprised by the bad guy. Love when that happens

"In Too Deep" is a Christian romantic suspense novel. The dive team searched for evidence and retrieved a sunken car, but the hero didn't dive at all. The rest of the investigation occurred above water, mostly in a computer lab doing things like retrieving evidence from a waterlogged laptop. The suspense came from repeated attacks on the team investigating the murder, and most of the attacks were focused on the heroine. They're not certain why she's the main target, which created further mystery.

The dive team main characters reacted realistically to events, and I cared about what happened to them. Adam has loved Sabrina for years, but she doesn't feel like she would be accepted by his rich family. The danger to her life prompted him to act on his feelings, and they have to deal with the secrets in her family background and how his family will react to her.

They both believe in God and that motivates them to protect those who can't protect themselves. They are willing to risk their family reputations in order to free people being illegally forced to work for low or no wages. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I would recommend this exciting suspense novel.

this is a revitting could not put the book down till the end story. Adam is a member of the police dive team, he is called out to a scene where the car went of a bridge and into the water, a man got her out but when the me checks there is a message on her body, it says to ask Adam? Sabrina is the forensic person. what they discover and who the discover is involved will shake them up. if you like suspense and romance you have to read this story. love that some of the people from the first book are in this one but if you haven't read the first one it is ok you will love this book I I was given a copy of the book but this is an honest reveiw

This is the second book in the Dive Team Investigations series by Ms. Blackburn. I loved the first book and this one was fantastic as well! This book focuses on Adam (who you meet in the first book). Adam is a dive team investigator who is called to a possible crime scene where a woman has drowned. Did she meet with foul play? Once the medical examiner examines her and discovers what she has written on her stomach, Adam decides there may be more going on than what it appears. In her trunk is a computer which brings Dr. Sabrina Fleming to the crime scene. Dr. Fleming is the dive team’s go to person to assist during investigations. Her forensic computer skills are phenomenal. Adam and Sabrina have worked other cases, but continue to find themselves together in this book. Will a romance develop between the two? As Adam is working the case, someone comes after Dr. Fleming. Is the two cases related or is it just coincident? This romantic suspense novel will keep you up and engaged throughout the book. I highly recommend this book and series! You will not be disappointed!!!

I was definitely interested in a series this features diving and crime fighting. I love a suspense filled story.
The reason behind my rating is as follows.
The characters seemed to be a little 'young minded'and naive to be in the professions they were. That struck me as not an authentic police procedure type attitude.
I may be getting more picky about things like this, so if I had read this book in my late teens or early twenties, I may have felt differently.
The pacing of the action was good up until the halfway point, where I felt like the tension in the book stalled. Both in the mystery and the romance. I think I expected more of a thriller and it was more of a light mystery. The good news is that I would have no problem giving this book to a late teen who is interested in mystery. Though the topic is human trafficking, it is very light.
I didn't hate it, I just don't think it was my style.
I personally like a little more grit to my stories.

This is a awesome action packed, suspense filled, roller coaster ride of a book, that will have you up way past your bed time reading to find out what happens next.

When the dive team is called out to recover a car from the river, where a citizen saw it and thought he was saving a lady from a wreck but soon discovered otherwise. When police diver Adam showed up and the corner looks at the woman's body things really start to get interesting. Can the woman really help the police solve her murder and other crimes from beyond the grave?

Warning this is book two of the series I have no been able to review book one yet I will up date this review when and if I review book one to include a link to it.

Car had gone over the bridge, the woman inside had died from a broken neck. The death occurred before, and then she was placed in the car. Finding a laptop, Sabrina with forensic was called in. To get information from it, before it dries out. Looking for Adam, his team is there, searching and looking for answers. Tense plot follows with human trafficking, and the wealthy that are involved. This is one very intense book that kept me guessing throughout the story. The author delivers a story rich in a mystery that will put people in danger. I love how the author incorporates computer technology into the story with details that remind me of shows on television.

Adam and his team are called upon to investigate a crime that leaves the team grappling for answers. Who is the mysterious woman found and what message will be discovered on her? Adam will have to call upon his friend Sabrina to help his team out. Sabrina is very intelligent and highly trained in computers. I couldn't get enough of her expertise and how accurate the author is in Sabrina's knowledge.

Sabrina is getting closer to the truth and someone out there needs to stop her. When her life is in danger, Trent steps up his protection of her. This book is one of the author's best at keeping the story interesting and action packed. Just when I thought I had figured out a part of the story, the author throws a curve that I never expected. I loved the part when Sabrina visits the victims home. I loved following her around the room as she took in every detail.

The story moves at a face pace and is filled with surprises and secrets from the past. Sabrina has not had the best relationship with her parents, especially her mother. As you delve further into the story it becomes clear that there is a much deeper secret to what the team and Sabrina is investigating. I was shocked at how sinister people can be and dysfunctional a family can become to gain power, control and cause destruction. Get ready for a powerful story that takes readers in to the depths of darkness.
