Speechless. That's how I was reading this book.
A modern re-telling story of The Little Mermaid.
Ariel Waters is in trouble. After a disastrous marriage, whose abusive husband left her with low esteem, "no voice", and moreover with serious financial problems, she did not imagine that her rescue would come through the man she least liked, Eric Sailor (I love his surname lol).
Eric is not that unbearable playboy, but he looks attentive and genuinely concerned about Ariel's story/problem.
Of course that behind all this help there was a certain interest... but would Eric and Ariel be the perfect match?
If you like modern fairy tales, this is your series.
5 stars

This is the third installment in The Naughty Princess Club. I have really loved these characters. I have been waiting for Ariel’s book. She quickly became my favorite out of the group with her outspoken fun personality.
Ariel is feisty and takes care of those she loves. These group of girls are so much fun. I would love to hang out with them. Eric is the perfect guy for Ariel. Eric doesn’t want to change Ariel; he wants her to be herself.
If you are looking for a fun romantic comedy grab these books you will love them! I highly recommend them.

I was kind of shocked how much I loved this one. It turned out to be my favorite of the series. I loved both characters so much. The h wasn't as over the top as I thought she would be and they were perfect!
Highly recommend.

Wow! It was a perfect ending to the series! When you think you knew Ariel from the first two books, Tara pulls the rug from your fit and changes everything! This book has so many layers, so much depth and an emotional development so great, that you finish it crying and laughing at the same time. Ariel is such a complex character, but at the same time she is like so many women, that it’s impossible not to relate. It was a joy to see she coming out of her shell and how Eric was a key component in everything. This book, or this hole series, for sure are now in my list of favorite fairy-tales retellings.

Kiss The Girl is SO MUCH FUN!! I needed a funny story to get me out of a book hangover and this was perfect..
It’s a Little Mermaid fairytale retelling with strippers and sexy times!!
“...the way he’s looking at me right now. Like he’s amazed. Like he’s grateful. Like I’m the best thing that’s ever told him to eat sh*! and die.”
Ariel is a sarcastic mouthy B- aitch with attitude for miles. Tough times seem to be snowballing and piling up one thing on top of another. Ariel is hiding her pain and scars under a hard exterior and trying to prove that she is a strong woman.
“I’m crying because of a guy. A GUY. An annoying, sweet, charming, hot, funny guy who Kool-Aid-man smashed his way through all the walls I built around myself without my even knowing it.”
Eric kind of swoops in. He quietly leads Ariel toward healing herself. He helps her to see that she can be in control of her own destiny.
“...but he’s been texting me nonstop, sending me pictures of Derrick Alfredo. Dozens of pictures of his devil cat wearing one ridiculous sweater after another, asking me which one makes him look the manliest. The hell beast is growing on me. And so is the cat.”
Kiss The Girl is the third book in The Naughty Princess Club series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but the characters from the previous books do play a large part in this story. This was my first book in this series, but I will immediately be picking up the first two books and catching up!!
-5 Stars!!-

Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec. I first must say if you don't care for slang or dirty words, you might not like it but if you overlook them, it was such a great story. Ariel was an antiques collector who was struggling because of her ex-husband seeking alimony from her. She ends up first loosing her antique store and later her house and all the antiques in it. She had to work at building her self-esteem and confidence back up after the ex took them away. Watching her bud back to life with the help of her two best friends as well as Eric, who calmed her and helped her refocus when she needed it. Loved the story. I received an advance copy from Net Galley for my honest review.

4.5 Stars!
Ariel Waters lives on Fairytale Lane and is a collector of antiques. She owns a business called the Naughty Princess Club with her two best friends Cindy & Belle. They are all becoming the strong, independent women they were meant to be. Ariel has been handling the administrative side of the business, but wants to soon take on more. She's divorced and needs to get out of debt. Her life suddenly begins to fall apart around her, and a person she wouldn't expect shows her kindness in her time of need.
Eric Sailor is a gorgeous, Greek millionaire playboy. Ariel has always found him annoying, but when he unexpectedly comes to her rescue she soon realizes he's sweet, thoughtful, and charming. He seemed to know exactly what she needed. It's like he knows her deep down. He's been a constant thorn in her side since they met, but now she finds this hot, funny guy irresistible. He's breaking down her walls, and showing her how amazing she is. She's never really believed in fairy tales for herself, but she's tired of fighting her feelings for Eric. Could he be her happily ever after?
This was such a fun, lighthearted, series about girl power, friendship, and fairy tales. I loved each book, but Ariel's was my favorite!

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Naughty Princess Club series written by Tara Sivec. This book was just as good if not better than the other books in this series. These book are so funny and will keep you entertained until the end. While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way. When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.

5 Ariel is THE BOMB Stars!!!
I’m a lover of all things Tara Sivec and I’ve been waiting for Ariel’s story since I picked up At The Stroke of Midnight. I saw something in her that I could totally relate too, but it took this book for me to have a full understanding of what makes her tick. And I’ll be honest I shed a tear or two for her because there’s so much we didn’t know until KTG.
I’ve loved following the lives of these three best friends as they start up their business and how they fall in love. I’m not going to lie, I was concerned Ariel may be the hold out because she’s got a mouth on her…which I FREAKING LOVED!! The number of times I snort laughed out loud while reading her book is too many to count. She’s witty, sarcastic, snarky and sassy. And Eric is the man who can handle all that and so much more.
The growth of their business The Naughty Princess Club has been so much fun to follow through the three books and I’m not going to lie, this one is my favorite of the three because of Ariel and all her quirky ways. But most important about this series and books is the love these three best friends have for each other and how they’re there no matter what to rescue, cry with, laugh with and help them in finding the loves of their lives. This is a series that is a must read if you’re a rom-com fan especially when it’s penned by Ms. Sivec because her words are solid gold!!

I knew going into this book that Ariel was going to annoy me. Her character was too rude, mean, and brash for me. Being an asshole to your friends wasn't cute or funny. I did warm up to her a bit and Eric helped. He was the perfect guy to go toe to toe with Ariel.
Despite Ariel being hard to like Kiss the Girl has a great story. It turns out Ariel had some major insecurities. I understood her "I don't need a man to save me" mantra. I think letting Eric in made her better. He balanced her out. He opened her eyes and helped her find her confidence. He was my favorite in this series. He was so patient with Ariel. He was also pretty swoon worthy.
This was a fun ending to the series. I especially loved the epilogues for all the couples. Well done.

Oh Eric Sailor and Ariel Waters… you two are perfection. This isn’t your typical love story. Eric is the man who has always had his eye on Ariel but Ariel is the woman who hasn’t been trapped in her own self-esteem issues. This book is about Ariel finding her voice, learning that she is a strong woman.. who doesn’t need no man… But she is also struggling with the verbal abuse her ex-husband subjected her too. This book is about the Naughty Princess Club strippers for hire but its also about female empowerment and not just a specific type of woman. This book shows even the smart mouthed scorned women can overcome their past and make a future. Initially I thought this book was going to be crazy short since the kiss came fairly early but the relationship itself felt so real and the right amount of time was used to develop their feelings.

for our two characters Eric and Ariel they discovered.. love really does happen when you least expect it and its wonderful
“Goddamn it all to hell… I want the Fairytale”

Thanks Netgalley For the free book, here's my honest opinion.
I enjoyed all 3 of these books. I really can't pick a favorite.
Ariel was always hit or miss or me in the other 2 books. I always felt her to be be too Bit**y. I loved how much Eric bothered her. This book made me love Ariel. I got to see her in a new light. A softer side to her. I loved how Eric handled her. He didn't push her too much
They were just perfect together.
I would have gave this book 5 stars but the little misunderstanding that happened at the end seem really out of character for Ariel, so I took one star away. Other than that...perfect.

Oh my what an entertaining series! When I got the ARC for this book, I had to go and find the first 2 in the series so I knew what was going on. I'm glad I did as this is not a stand alone book. I loved the play on the classic fairy tales with everyone's names and laughed out loud at a lot of points in the book. This series is my first books by Tara Sivec and I do think I'll be looking for her other stories!
This review is based on an ARC from NetGalley, courtesy of the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Finally, we’re down to mouthy Ariel’s story. She’s been a hoot since the first book and I’ve always been curious on her backstory. With her sass and attitude, it is a wonder why she’s the last to take on stripping. Now, we finally know the reason why Ariel delayed her turn. We finally understand why she’s acting the way she is. How she’s hiding her pain and insecurities with brazenness. In this book, we get to see Ariel in her softer, vulnerable state. And we also get to see how she eventually gained back her confidence, and how she accepted herself with Eric’s help and support. Both characters are incredibly funny and they are just perfect for each other. I love their banters and it is delightful how Eric deals with Ariel’s snarky attitude. He knew exactly what to tell her when she’s feeling down. He knew what she needed even without her knowing it herself and he’s always there to make sure she gets it. And of course, it is always nice to catch up with our other princesses’ lives. The three of them together are always humorous and their antics never get old. I just love them. And I appreciate how the epilogue, though cheesy, capped off not only Eric and Ariel’s story but also that of Cindy with PJ and Belle with her Beast.
Ariel may appear over the top most of the time and if it weren’t for the fact that I’ve read the other books and thus I am aware of how Ariel is, her attitude might turn me off at some point if not immediately. I may not laugh as hard as on the first two books but I am definitely as entertained. It can be read as a standalone but I still recommend reading the other two books. Overall, a hilarious and entertaining read as always. Great ending to an amazing series.

Kiss The Girl is an hilariously sweet romance that had me smiling from ear to ear.
We first met Ariel in Book 1 of this series, she’s feisty and has quite the mouth on her and I loved her immediately. If you haven’t read book 1 and 2 I definitely recommend them. This however can be read as a complete standalone.
Ariel finds herself evicted from her home and Eric steps up and gives her a place to stay. He’s clear with his intentions but Ariel’s reluctant and fights his advances at every turn.
I loved these two together, he was sweet and said all the right things and she just refused to give into it and it made for a hell of an entertaining read. Tara Sivec’s brand of comedy once again making me laugh my ass off throughout this book.
Her spin on the classic fairytales with this series are entertaining and completely hilarious. Through is some sweet hero’s and you’ve got yourself a fantastic romantic comedy.

Warnings that should come with this book include:
1. Those who like their romance heroines meek, mild, and sweet-natured need not pick this book up.
2. If you don’t have a healthy appreciated for snark, sarcasm, and cussing, this book is NOT for you.
Anyone who doesn’t have a healthy sense of humor need not apply.
3. Stick-up-butt types who don’t believe in a woman’s right to express her sexuality (sometimes on a stripper pole) will likely be offended by this book.
4. Snort laughing. It will happen.
If any of these warnings turn you off the book, I say good riddance. For the rest of you…
I loved this book. The humor, the banter between Ariel and Eric, the banter between Ariel and her friends, the snark, the cussing, the sexy times...it was all perfect.
I also really liked the premise. I mean, who wouldn’t love to read a twisted, sexy, adult version of The Little Mermaid in which Ariel is a stripper, is best friends with Cinderella and Belle (also strippers), engages in a super sexy enemies-to-lovers romance with a snarky billionaire named Eric, and has all kinds of hilarious adventures along the way? The originality of it all was so much fun!
I will warn y’all that Ariel takes a little bit of time to warm up to. She’s coarse, rude, outspoken to an alarming degree, and super anti-social. Her demeanor was a little startling to me in the beginning of the book, but if you stick with it, you’ll soon figure out why she is the way she is, and it all makes perfect sense. It didn’t take long before I was rooting for her.
And while it took me some time to warm up to Ariel, Eric, on the other hand, was instantly grade-A book boyfriend material for me. He’s sexy, hilarious, smart, successful, and so supportive of Ariel (emotionally, of course, not financially, aside from offering her a temporary place to stay) that he instantly endeared himself to me.
Other odds and ends:
1. Ariel’s douchenozzle of an ex gets what’s coming to him in a SUPER satisfying way
2. Ariel’s dad is all kinds of awesome
3. The scenes with Ariel and her friends are laugh-out-loud hilarious
4. All the little “shout outs” to The Little Mermaid were clever. It could’ve been cheesy if not handled properly, but the author handled it beautifully
5. I loved how Ariel and her friends embraced and owned their sexuality and their significant others were totally supportive of them, without getting possessive or jealous or otherwise ugly about it
So, in case I haven’t made it clear, this is a unique, fun, sexy, empowering (#girlpower!), hilarious read that I highly recommend. (But, again, if you don’t have a healthy sense of humor and respect for snark, steer clear. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.)
Full disclosure: we received an ARC from Netgalley free of charge.

That’s it. That’s what annoys me. He has dimples. Dimples make women stupid, and I refuse to be stupid over a man ever again.
This definitely isn’t the Disney version of The Little Mermaid!! I think fairytale retellings, or stories inspired by our favorite fairytales, are such fun and Tara Sivec’s rom-com take on the story was simply fantastic! Somehow I missed the first two books in this series and after finishing this one, I’m really kicking myself because I really enjoyed this one. I’m definitely going to have to go back and read them at some point! Some of my favorite rom-coms have come from Tara Sivec and this one is now added to that list. It had my laughing from the first few pages and kept me chuckling all the way through. But it provided more than just laughs! Despite all of Ariel’s hilarious threats toward Eric, there actually ended up being a really sweet romance between them. Now, I don’t know how Eric was portrayed in the prior two books but in this one he was such a sweet guy. Ariel was a hot mess for much of this book and he just took it all in stride and was really great to her. In addition to the laughs and the swoony romance, this was also a story of empowerment and finding your voice. I really loved this aspect and I get the sense that this has been a theme throughout all of the books. I love that Tara Sivec was able to take a light-hearted, sometimes silly, approach to a fairytale re-imagining and still make it a meaningful story. I had a lot of fun reading this book and I am definitely planning on going back to ready Cindy and Belle’s books!!

Just like the first two, Kiss the Girl was a hoot! I think it's my second favorite of the series. Ariel has a lot of sass to her, but she also has a lot more that we got to see throughout the book. She has a soft and emotional side to her as well. I felt really bad for her multiple times during the book. She's had a rough past that makes her second guess herself. She deserves to be happy, respected, and loved. Eric is a great character! He's more than what we got to see in the first two books. He has a really sweet side to him that I loved seeing. He does a lot for Ariel and it is definitely swoon-worthy. He has some smooth lines that's for sure. Their whole relationship is hilarious yet adorable. The storyline had a few twists and turns that I wasn't expecting so that kept it interesting. Kiss the Girl had a whole bunch of Little Mermaid references which I really appreciated and loved. I was very happy that the epilogue included updates from all the characters, it definitely made me smile.

The cover on this book would have me buying it. Than I read the synopsis and UI had to read it. I am so glad I did. I really enjoyed this book. This is the third book in the Naught Princess Club series. The books are standalones as well as this one. I loved these retellings of characters we know and love but in a different light. This book was a really fun read. It has everything a good romance should. It was funny and romantic and sexy. I loved how she portrayed Ariel. I pictured her like an angry rock chick. I think Eric in this story was the perfect person for her. He Loved to give her the feistyness right back. I liked how independent Ariel was and even though Eric was 100% right for her she didn´t give in right away. This book will have you smiling once you are done and in the epilogue it gives you an epilogue for each of the women in this series.

3.5*
Kiss the Girl and I didn't get off to the best of starts- I was ready to throw the towel in at 7%, and had to step away for awhile. Even after I picked up again I started debating on just calling it quits. Ariel wasn't just rubbing me the wrong way, she was rubbing me upside down and backwards. From the first moment I met her I didn't like her. I had to double check that this book was in fact told from her pov because I swear I thought I was reading a story told by an ahole alpha male. She was that abrasive and quite frankly, obnoxious. I mean, I can be obnoxious and abrasive with the best of them, but this girl took it to the limits. But at some point, okay at one certain point, Eric pulled me in, hook, line and sinker, and I'm glad I continued on.
Ariel is quite an interesting character. Liked I said, she’s abrasive, obnoxious, she’s rude, has a horribly foul mouth, and at times I felt she was just TSTL. I never thought I’d use that acronym, but if the shoe fits… The best thing to happen to Ariel was Eric. He was quite honestly perfect. But not in that unbelievable or untouchable kind of perfect. Just completely charming and adorable and sweet as can be. He was able to see past Ariel’s bluster and bravado, to the person she kept hidden behind the facade she created for herself. Thanks to him I was able to see past a lot of what turned me off from her in the beginning.
While it was hard to let go of my initial feelings for this book, in the end I did find myself enjoying the story, even laughing out loud at certain points. For all her faults, Ariel is a great friend, has the best of intentions, and I’m glad she got her happily ever after.
I haven’t read the previous 2 books in this trilogy and although there was a time or 2 I could have probably used a little more back story, I really didn’t feel like I was missing out on much. I think Ms. Sivec did a good job of letting Ariel’s story stand on its own.
