Sexy, Funny and Entertaining! This is the first book that I have read by Tara Sivec and it definitely won’t be my last. This story was just so cute and the play on words of the original Disney Princess Ariel was the icing on the cake.
Ariel Waters is a beautiful woman who has had her self esteem broken by her ex-husband. Constantly being told that she wasn’t pretty enough, not skinny enough, and not good enough, she becomes a cynical bitch, who hates everyone and trusts no one. When she is evicted from her home she is forced to live on a luxury yacht owned by Eric Sailor.
Eric Sailor is a wealthy, man who is part owner of Charming’s Gentleman’s Club. He is also entirely too good looking and he knows it. But he also has the hots for Ariel. Her cynical ways and words turn him on as well as her Hot body. But so far he has been unable to break down her walls. But as Ariel stays on one of his yachts, he slowly teaches her to love herself again.
But just as they get close his conniving mother Ursula enters the picture and makes Ariel’s self esteem flounder. Will Ariel let Ursula get her way? You will need to read to see how this all goes down. Funny, Sexy and hilariously entertaining! Don’t miss this tale.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This twist on the popular fairytale is a lighthearted and amusing read. The sarcasm goes a bit over the top for me and the story is a bit cheesy overall, but amusing nonetheless. While the author has created an absolutely swoon-worthy character in Eric, I did have trouble warming up to Ariel. I'm usually a big fan of sassy, speak your mind women in romance, but Ariel was often contrary just for the sake of being contrary. She does eventually show a somewhat softer side, and in the end, I could see her getting her prince, but my feelings about her played a big part in my middle of road rating of the book. The story is fast-paced and an interesting take on princesses and their Prince Charming's, but this one ended up being just okay for me.

I really liked this story. It was funny, sexy and what I needed after reading a few ‘heavier’ books.
I love the way this was woven with The Little Mermaid and how the author tied in key points without making it a duplicate of the classic Disney film. It’s so far different, with having a few major similarities the same.
This Ariel is NOTHING like Disney’s Ariel. Lol. Well, besides being a stripper, her personality is so completely different. She’s vulgar, cusses like a sailor, eats mass junk food, and doesn’t hold back on what she’s thinking. She has Disney’s Ariel’s qualities such as loves finding and collecting antiques, has a great singing voice and has a flounder fish, several as a matter of fact. That’s about where the similarities end.
I really like how all the other characters are woven in as well...Eric, Ursula, King Triton. Lol. It was fun. I haven’t read the other books in this series but I loved seeing Belle and Cindy.
This wasn’t just all about stripping which I found refreshing. I didn’t want a fluff book, lol. Yes, they strip, yes they have a business called The Naughty Princess Club, but there’s so much more to the story! And just like Disney’s Ariel, this Ariel has to find her voice! She has great friends that help her accomplish just that. Friendship, witty banter, naughty words, and a very swoony Eric and this makes for a fantastic light and funny read!

Ariel has just lost everything due to her ex-husband. When her friends, and the very handsome, yet annoying Eric try to be supportive, it seems like Eric is the only one who knows what she really needs. Will she accept his help or push him away?
Ariel put on a protective barrier one she realized how abusive her ex was. She was never going to let a man hurt her again. Without even realizing it, Eric starts helping her to regain her confidence and trust.
Eric was so swoon-worthy. He knew he wanted her, but that she wouldn't make it easy. He had to find a way to get close, but give her back the power she needed.
Just when things are going good on the personal level, her professional life takes a hit. She has a horrible decision to make and either way set least one heart will be broken. Will Ariel find a way out of the mess? Will Eric get to Kiss the Girl? I really liked how strong all the characters were and how loyal they were to one another. I will definitely read more by this author.

3.75-4 stars. This was a really cute and refreshing book! I was a little weary going into Kiss the Girl. The Disney princess theme could have turned out cheesy and sometimes the humor in Ms. Sivec's books is a little OTT and potty humor-esque. But I was pleasantly surprised and happy I gave this book a try!
This is Ariel and Eric's story. Ariel went through a bad divorce from her ex that left her broke. She and her two friends, Belle and Cindy, started the Naughty Princess Club to make money. They started a mobile-stripping business dressed as Disney princesses. The business is still getting off the ground and not making money yet. Also, Ariel's self esteem is in tatters from her ex's treatment and she finds herself so broke she loses her home. Eric is a businessman and friend of Belle and Cindy's boyfriends. He is interested in Ariel from the moment he meets her and he offers to let her stay on a yacht he owns, which is next door to the yacht he lives on. That leads to friendship and then romance between Ariel and Eric.
Kiss the Girl was a fun read! At first, I wasn't sure if I liked Ariel. She seemed very negative and mean to everyone. But it soon became clear why she acted that way and her attitude improved. I ended up liking her a lot. She was spunky and funny. Eric, I liked from the get-go. He was a perfect hero. He adored Ariel. There were so many subtle (and some obvious) Little Mermaid references. I loved that the story was not an exact modernized copy, but more of a loose interpretation. I thought the Little Mermaid theme was so cute and funny, without being OTT silly. This was an easy, low angst read, too. I never doubted Eric's love for Ariel from the moment they got together. They were definitely made for each other.
Overall, Kiss the Girl was a fun, entertaining read! I will definitely go back and read the first two books in the series, as I loved the glimpses I got of the other two couples. I look forward to reading more from the Naughty Princess Club in the future!

Tara Sivec does it again! Fans of hers can expect the same girl-power friendships, hunky but sensitive men, and strong, unapologetic, snarky heroines that they’ve seen in her Chocoholics series. But because her writing is so sharp, it never feels old. This is the third in her Naughty Princess series, and I absolutely love it, especially the way she takes familiar fairy tales and turns them on their heads. The way she works each familiar character, and it’s obvious which ones make an appearance in this book, is clever and well-thought out. (Side note: I would have spelled Eric’s last name differently, perhaps Sayler or something like it, just to make it a little less obvious). But the chemistry is spot on, the scenes are hot, and the tender moments are “aww-inspiring.” If you’re new to Tara Sivec, be warned that she uses very “tell-it-like-it is” language. I, for one, love it – but it might not be for everyone. Another winning novel by one of my favorite authors. Thank you to NetGalley, St. Martin’s Press, and the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Kiss the Girl is the final book in Tara Sivec’s winning The Naughty Princess series. I’ve been anxiously waiting for Ariel’s story, and it was well worth wait.
Of the three “princesses”, Ariel is by far the most uninhibited, ballsy, filter-free, foul mouthed, and just plain fun. Her outlandish antics are usually the catalyst for tear-inducing laughter and embarrassing situations galore.
Based on the previous books, I thought I had a good idea about who Ariel is, but this book shows that looks—and even actions—can be deceiving. Ariel takes her mask off to show us all the self-consciousness and vulnerability she tries to hide.
Ariel incorrectly pegged Eric as a rich playboy and hated him at first sight. It turns out he is the only person who truly understands her. She’s a powder keg that is frequently only a second away from exploding, but somehow Eric always knows how to diffuse her—and that includes distracting her by saying infuriating things. Ariel is stubborn and reluctantly attracted to him. He challenges her, and I enjoyed every moment of their hate/love magnetic connection. I fell hard for Eric’s kind heart right along with Ariel.
The theme of female empowerment is delivered in hilarious and effective ways here, and the strong bond between the three best friends is pure joy.
Kiss the Girl can be read as a standlaone, although references are made to events from the previous two books in the series.

Love this author and pretty much all she does! This was witty and whimsical! Ariel is not a Disney princess, she’s fierce, strong willed and foul mouthed. Eric is the man that might be crazy for falling for her but their coming together story is a fairy tail I can get behind any day of the week!

While I enjoyed Ariel in the previous books of this series, I wasn’t sure that I could love her. She is brash and outspoken, extremely prickly and not your average girl next door. Amazingly enough, I not only liked her, I loved her and this quickly became my favorite book of the three.
When Ariel’s circumstances take a dramatic turn she is left with nothing. Her ex-husband not only destroyed her self-esteem but also left her in financial despair. However, the very annoying Eric Sailor quickly steps in to assist, despite her protestations, and before she knows it she’s finding her true self.
Eric was the perfect mate for Ariel. He knew exactly what to say, when to say it and how to say it to push Ariel into the place she needed to be. And surprisingly, that place was where she could figure out who she was and what she wanted. A place where she could find her voice and speak up for herself as well as her friends. That, in my opinion, is the true definition of a hero.
Along the way there was so much humor, one liners and repeated jokes that built upon themselves, all the while creating a bond between these characters in a fun and charming style. With never a dull moment this story moved at lightning speed. I never knew what to expect from this couple or their friends. When the big conflict arrived I didn’t see it coming and would definitely consider it a twist. And while the resolution felt a bit cheesy, I was grinning and cheering right along with Ariel and her friends.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each of the books in this series and was reminded again of why when we are given a glimpse into the future with a sweet epilogue that highlighted each of the princesses and their princes. Definitely worth reading if you like your romance laced with plenty of humor, friendship and naughtiness.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and St. Martin's Press. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Kiss the Girl has received wonderful reviews from so many readers that I feel bad in saying that I did not care for this story at all. I have decided that Tara Sivec may not be the author for me.
The description spoke of Ariel as being a woman who has lost her voice and self-confidence. but her brashness said otherwise. Snarky is okay but the way she spoke to her friends sounded more like she was stuck in middle school bad language, mean girl mode. I wasn’t expecting a Disney princess, but liking the main character is important to my enjoying a book. I just never found my way to like Ariel.

4.5 stars
I have been enjoying the Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec so much! In Kiss the Girl she gives us Ariel’s story and I loved it! This time around we get a new take of The Little Mermaid that will leave readers happy and content!
Because of her ex-husband, Ariel is losing everything she worked hard for. Her ex left her feeling like less and she is struggling to find herself again. She has great friends, but her confidence is at rock bottom. Eric seems to push all her buttons, but as they get to know each other, she begins to see a different side of him. Yes, he is a rich and sexy and knows it, but there is so much more to this man. Add in her crazy and supportive friends, some other great secondary characters and an evil woman, and we get another great story!
I have really loved all three books in the series, but there was something about this one as I was reading it! I swooned, laughed and just enjoyed reading it! Three friends who found each other just when they needed the love and support of friends the most. With each other, they are able to stand on their own feet and find love. But it was really the strength of that friendship that got them where they wanted to be and I loved that! I would recommend all three books!

Ariel has finally hit rock bottom. She never imagined her life would lead her where she finds herself: facing the loss of her business, her antique collection, and her home. She vowed to never rely on a man for what she could do herself, so when she finds herself with no one else to help but Eric Sailor, the fiercely independent Ariel fights tooth and nail for what little autonomy she can find.
Eric has long enjoyed watching Ariel react to situations with her own personal brand of fire and sass. He particularly enjoys it when she is sending her snark his way, but he can’t get her to do anything but snap at him, even when he tries to help her out.
I loved that Eric recognized Ariel’s need to feel in control and independent. His ability to read her and find just the right solution to solve her problems without doing much more beyond giving her the tools SHE needs made me fall for him fast and hard. But just because he knows what she needs and is willing to let her take what she needs doesn’t mean she will let him in any further than she ever has before. He has his work cut out for him to convince her that he isn’t out to change who she is.
Ariel’s independent streak ran her into quite a bit of hot water during Kiss the Girl. I enjoyed her spark and heat, but wished she didn’t have to rock bottom quite so hard to learn her lessons. She is a strong character, but learning the reasons she keeps everyone at arm's’ length was tough, especially in such an otherwise funny story.
This was a funny, quick read with just the right amount of humor mixed into the story. The couples from the previous Naughty Princess Club books return to add their own bits of humor to the story as well. As an entire series, this has been entertaining and a fun twist on the traditional tales. I have enjoyed finding the parallels as well as the differences between these hilarious retellings and the classics.
I received a copy for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect the content of my review or my opinion of the books.

Overall, I thought that this was an ok story, some parts were better than others. I was interested in seeing how the princess spin would play out. I thought that Ariel was a bit rough around the edges and a little too dependent on the foul language. You can be a strong independent woman without every other sentence being filled with curses. I did like the bond and sisterhood that she shared with her two friends. I also liked how Eric was patient with her and let her rediscover her fierceness at her own pace. Even though this book can be read with no problem as a stand-alone , it is the third book in the series. I will probably read the first two at some point just to get more background on the friends can't how they started their business.
I voluntarily read and reviewed s complimentary copy of this book received from Netgalley.

A big thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press/Swerve for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Ok I am oblivious!! I just got the name of the series and the names in the book!! This is the third book in the Naughty Princess Club. It reads okay as a stand alone but I think if the others are read so you have more background on the characters. I really didn't like Ariel at all-she has a potty mouth and seemingly few redeeming qualities. I liked Eric and Derrick the cat. Her ex Sebastian is a creep. It was silly but a fast read. I especially enjoyed the goat yoga! With Eric's help Ariel seems to quickly become nicer. I liked the other books better to be honest. I rate this a 3.5. What's your take?

Thank you netgalley, Tara Sivec and swerve publishing for my arc of Kiss the Girl.
I know when I pick up a Tara Sivec book I’m in for a laugh and this book was no exception.
Ariel, an antiques collector and co owner of The Naughty Princess Club, (a stripping business) just can’t catch a break. Her ex husband leaves her with self confidence issues not to mention in debt trying to pay the alimony she owes him. Ariel suddenly finds herself homeless and Eric, the playboy millionaire, is happy to step and help her during her time of need. Is their more to Eric than being the playboy? Can Ariel let go of her insecurities and give Love a try?
If your looking for lighthearted read I’d recommend this series. Ariel and Eric’s relationship has played throughout the other two books is the series and we got the enemies to lovers vibe so I was excited to see how their story would unravel. I was pleasantly surprised by Eric’s character he was so much more than I expected and I loved him 😍. I enjoyed Ariel’s character too she’s stubborn, opinionated, cheeky and loves to use foul language (reminds me a little of myself 😂). I thought it was a great ending to a cute and lighthearted series. Sivec does an amazing job weaving in fairytale aspects throughout her story. This book is available tomorrow Sept 4th

This a retelling of The Little Mermaid, romance style.
It was kinda funny at times and the characters were very likeable.
Other than that, it was pretty usual in the romance, it didn’t have that much drama and it was a fast read.
I enjoyed how the characters were names. It was funny.
Ariel was pretty cool but I felt like she changed really fast… It all went by a bit fast…
Still, it made me want to read the other books in this series.

Tara Sivec has been on TBR for a while so when I was offered this book, I decided to jump in.
I struggled with this book. Not because I had a hard time suspending my ideas of the Disney princesses and accepting that this version is profanity laden and a little raunchy but because Ariel had like zero qualities of nice person at all. During the first chapter I was like I don't think I like her. By the third, I really didn't like her an didn't think I ever would. The best part of this book is Eric. He's romantic and he does everything he can to empower Ariel.
I think I would have has a better appreciation of this book if I had read the first two books of this series first. I probably wouldn't have been all that surprised by Ariel's brash personality and also maybe, seeing her through her friends' eyes, would have been able to see some positive qualities. I'm on the fence of whether I'll read the other books in this series but this was a pretty interesting take on a fairy tale that we all know so well.
*This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

This was such a wonderful addition to the Naughty Princess Club series.
Ariel is struggling to come to terms that she may lose all of her precious treasures. She also is the only member of The Naughty Princess Club who hasn't started stripping for their business. She has a lot going on and most of it is under the surface.
Eric is the rich guy who is always hanging around because he half owns the local strip club. He loves to rile Ariel up, and has no trouble pushing her buttons.
These two had a very sweet, electric, slow burn relationship. Eric was there for Ariel from the beginning and helped her overcome a lot of her issues and problems. The fact that he is able to slip beneath the wall she has built up without her noticing made for some very funny and romantic scenes.
Ariel has been my favorite princess. She has an over the top personality and says what she is thinking at all times. She is always pushing her friends to be better versions of themselves and trying to make everyone else's lives better. She uses her big personality to mask her hurt, and it takes her awhile to realize that accepting help does not mean admitting defeat.
I love how Tara writes these stories. You can definitely picture the scenes taking place, and it is wonderful to see how three completely different personalities come together to overcome all odds.
-An ARC from NetGalley was provided in exchange for an honest review.-

I feel like I waited for this story for so long and was not disappointed. Tara Sivec finally gives us the story of Ariel and Eric, complete with every character you can think of. Ursula, Triton, Sebastian and even Alfred(o) make an appearance, and I found myself looking forward to finding the next tie in to the Disney tale.
In this retelling of what felt like The Little Mermaid meets Pretty Woman, the most foul-mouthed hoarder princess is silenced by doubts of her own self-worth. Afraid to actually perform as part of her and her friends’ new stripping business, and questioning her value after the cold treatment by her ex-husband, Arial’s two best friends and co-founders of the Naughty Princess Club try everything they can to help her regain her confidence. But when supporting their friend with carbs and binge eating doesn’t work, it’s ultimately the love of a prince that can help the princess finally find her voice.
This story was just flat out, over the top hilarious. Arial was crude, she was opinionated, and she was so unapologetically dramatic that I couldn’t help but adore her. In some ways she was like a spoiled toddler constantly throwing a tantrum, but she did it in such a way that was just a riot. And Eric had the patience of a saint. This man came to the rescue of a damsel in distress, surrounded by an ocean of sadness (or just multiple fish tanks populated with Flounders) and did everything he could to help her rediscover the strong independent woman he knew she could be. She didn’t need someone to support her. She just needed someone to believe in her, and help her stand on her own two feet to allow her to rescue herself.
Disney fans, Tara Sivec fans, or those just wanting a sweet romance with a ballsy heroine and the perfect man will simply adore this book.

This is book 3 in the Naughty Princess Club and can be absolutely read as a stand alone. I haven't read the previous 2 books and understood everything to do with this book, although I have since added those 2 books to my TBR pile! This one is about Ariel Waters and Eric Sailor. Ariel has gotten divorced but has not idea how to get her voice back since her ex made sure she was knocked down and insecure about everything. And then to top it off he took most of her money and she is now bankrupt and looking for a way to survive. Eric comes to her rescue when she loses her home. She can't stand the playboy but Eric may be a millionaire but somehow he has still managed to hang onto his humanity. He is still kind and supportive regardless of what others think. But when others try to insert themselves and force them apart, can they both figure out a way to be together and make it through?
Now when I started reading this, somehow I completely missed that these books were a play on the disney princesses. So I was a little confused at first but then it made me laugh a lot with the way things would play out. It was definitely a different play for a fairy tale. I liked it, Ariel (and her friends) made me laugh A LOT!! Parts of it were a little slow for me but on a whole I definitely found it entertaining. Ariel is a strong woman who even after being beat down by her ex has managed to figure out what she needs to do and works towards it. And throwing Eric in there just makes her realize what she needs and deserves, once she works through her other issues. Eric is definitely sweet but he is also one that will stand beside you and make sure you have what you need to he happy. Even when someone who should be close to him thinks to involve themselves in his business. I really liked it!
