I don’t want this to be the last book in the series! 😭
This group of girls is amazing and if you have not read the series go now. It’s hilarious! I thought book 2 Belle & The Beast’s story (In Bed With the Beast) was my favorite but I was wrong. Ariel and Eric stoke my heart. I love how Tara Sivec takes a fairy tale we all know and puts contemporary twist to it and makes it something unexpected.
First I want to start off by saying no one and I mean no one has the right to treat you like you are not perfect, like you are not gorgeous, like you are not the most beautiful girl on the planet. I want to say thank you to Tara Sivec making that part of this story. Being in a toxic relationship where you partner makes you feel self-conscious or makes you think you need to look better, act better or even change yourself completely is a relationship you should not be in. YOU ARE PERFECT!
Eric knew from the moment he spotted Ariel in Charming’s it was over for him. He knew she was it, she had ruined him for anyone else just by looking at him, but he know deep down she wasn’t ready. She needed to find who she was. He took it slow, he push himself into her heart one small step at a time. He helped her build her self confidence and discover who she truly was. Every persons deserve someone like him, someone that can wait for you to be ready, someone that can be there for you when you need and someone that makes you feel loved and pretty all in one.
This book is a must read & I would give it 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend reading the series in order.

I loved the first two books in Tara Sivec’s Naughty Princess Club series (I’ll link my reviews down below) so I was really excited to get an email from St. Martin’s Press/Swerve offering me an ARC of Kiss the Girl! Enemies-to-lovers is kind of my thing and I’d been anticipating Ariel and Eric’s story ever since we were first introduced to them in At the Stroke of Midnight.
I liked Eric a lot. He was such a great guy and I loved that he just gave Ariel a yacht. Why can’t someone just give me a big yacht to live on all by myself? I need my personal space. In that way, I really related to Ariel. But aside from that… Ariel is just so prickly. It wasn’t a surprise, really, since it’s not like she was a ball of sunshine in the previous two books, but I found it really hard to connect with her. I’m all for my female protagonists being complex and layered and having their own issues, but Ariel created a lot of her own problems but blamed them on other people and that was hard for me to deal with.
The relationship between Eric and Ariel was actually pretty cute. Eric was so supportive of her and I loved the romance once Ariel got over herself and stopped pushing him away. But for the actual story? I don’t know. I just felt like, compared with the last two books in the series, the parallels with the actual Little Mermaid story were pretty forced. The whole plot felt kind of rushed and I just didn’t love this one as much as I’d expected. Not to mention that the whole plot with Ursula had me rolling my eyes. (Are these grown adults or teenagers? Sometimes I couldn’t tell.)
Kiss the Girl wasn’t a bad way to spend a few hours, but I don’t know that I’d necessarily recommend it to anybody other than fans of the previous two books in the series.

Kiss the Girl by Tara is the third book from the contemporary romance Naughty Princess Club series. Each book in the series features a different couple but all three ladies are introduced in the first book and an overall story carries on between installments leaving this best enjoyed reading from the beginning.
The first book of this series, At the Stroke of Midnight, introduced all three of the female leads in the series as they came together and became friends. The trio couldn’t be more opposite of one another with Cindy being an uptight recent divorcee, Belle the nerdy and shy librarian and Ariel the wild, crazy and outspoken one. The ladies had shown up at a function all wearing princess costumes and were offered a job working a party. Thinking children’s party they hastily agreed since all were in need of money but little did they know it was definitely adult and they were expected to strip. After running like crazy they rethought their retreat and came up with the idea to form their new business the Naughty Princess Club.
The fun part of this series is that these ladies are loosely based on the fairy tale princesses and now in this third installment it is Ariel’s turn to find her happiness and learn to shake her booty. Ariel has always been the outspoken of the trio but readers finally get to see her true self as she struggles after being evicted from her home and losing all of her antiques. Eric comes to the rescue giving Ariel a place to stay but can he tame the feisty Ariel and open up her heart again?
As I’ve said with the previous books in this series words aren’t enough to show how much I absolutely adore these books. Tara Sivec has written the perfect combination of humor, sexiness and added a dash of creativity with the fairy tale twist. But not only do I laugh all throughout and my Kindle may get a little steamy but she’s given an underlying message of female empowerment showing her characters growing and maturing to be able to take care of themselves before beginning their relationships. Again, I definitely recommend checking out the entire series as I don’t think anyone would regret laughing and smiling so much!

Ariel is loud, abrasive, irresponsible, whiny, crass, immature— were we suppose to laugh at her words and actions? Because I was ducking my head in embarrassment and wanted to tell her to grow up. I seriously considered DNF-ing in the first few pages because I couldn’t stand her.
Eric was only slightly better. He was a good match for Ariel, but kind of a bore. His character didn't have much personality. It was clear he was just the side character and that Ariel was all that mattered.
There was an excessive amount of sentences in all caps. To me this is sloppy because you should be able to convey tone and volume of what someone is saying without resorting to all caps. I got tired of seeing this on the page and it made everyone seem like raging lunatics.
The thing is: Sivec's writing isn't bad. When Ariel wasn't being...well, Ariel, I actually enjoyed it. I'm willing to give her writing another chance. Hopefully it is just this book.

This is the third book in The Naughty Princess Club series, and the one I was most looking forward to. Since we met Ariel in the first book, I needed her book more than any other character! She was my favorite character with her sarcasm and great one-liners. Yes, she cusses like a truck driver but it was hilarious!
While this is a standalone, you really should read the first two beforehand. Sivec does do a pretty good recap in the beginning of this book, so you are caught up on what’s going on. But, you actually meet Ariel and Eric in the first book, and their first meeting in that book was quite entertaining!
I’d say this book was probably the closest to the actual fairy tale- The Little Mermaid, versus the last two. She brings in all the important characters. Overall, this book was so good, funny, cheesy and absolutely ridiculous, and I loved every second of it! And that epilogue was the perfect end to this series!
Highly recommend this entire series, especially if you’re looking for a good laugh!

Every once in a while I just want a book without any heartache or angst. I want to get lost, have fun, and escape for a little while. Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec gave me those three gifts and more. This book follows Ariel, a businesswoman and an aspiring stripper with a hoarding problem and Eric, a millionaire part owner of a strip club. Yes, this book sounds absurd, because it is in the best ways!
I don’t want to say Eric is the perfect hero, but he’s pretty darn close. Kiss the Girl was very much Ariel’s story. If you’ve read the other two books in the series, you know Ariel is a bold, brash heroine fond of death threats and the F-bomb. Eric takes her mood swings and craziness in stride and sees the woman beneath the bluster. He’s a great supporting character to his “princess.”
After reading book one and two, I wasn’t sure I was going to like Ariel. Cindy and Belle were crazy in their own ways, but Ariel was the ultimate zany lady in my mind and I worried I would feel this book was over the top. I shouldn’t have doubted Ms. Sivec for a second. This book IS over the top but only in the best ways. I loved seeing Ariel as her friends and Eric did: a tough outer shell protecting a soft core.
This whole series was a breath of fresh air and I want more! I can’t wait to see what else Ms. Sivec has up her sleeve. Whatever it is, you can sure I’ll be there for the ride!

Ariel Waters life has gone from bad to worse since her divorce. Even though she has tried to rally with her friends Cindy and Belle and created their new business, The Naughty Princess Club, her life continues on a downward spiral. When she finds herself with no place to go, she ends up taking the help of a man she considers most annoying, Eric Sailor.
He is handsome, charming, rich, and used to getting everything he wants without having to work for it. But he knows right away, Ariel will make him work and he still has very little chance of winning her over. She is angry, depressed, overwhelmed, and has lost her confidence. She tries to hide her insecurities with her big, foul mouth and attitude. And she swears she is anti-man and does not believe in fairy tales...at least for herself. But Eric is intuitive and good at reading her. He knows when to push her and when to support her. He understands she is proud and needs to be independent. But he most importantly knows that she has to be able to find her self worth on her own and embrace her new life.
They definitely have strong reactions. Hate turns to want turns to friendship and then feelings. Just when things start looking up for Ariel, demons from her past start emerging and a new enemy sharpens their claws. Now that Ariel is finding her way will she be knocked down again? Or will she finally find her voice and take back her life?
This installment is entertaining as Ariel is funny, sarcastic, outspoken, and just a bit crazy. She is a bit hard to like in the beginning as she is prickly and often agitated, but it is part of her self protective mode. Eric is steadfast and sweet, but also hot and sexy. I adored him and how attentive and understanding he was.
It brings back Cindy, PJ, Belle, and Vincent from the other stories and they make a dynamic and fun group. They get into some interesting situations and each of them have such unique personalities. Even the cat is special and funny. This also ties up all of their stories with an extended epilogue. All of these have been fun modern day retellings of some of my favorite fairy tales and disney movies. It is enjoyable to see how the details are pulled into the stories, while also throwing the naughty slant to them.

Another winner! The Naughty Princess Club series has become a favorite.I didn't know what to expect since Ariel is such a strong character. The author did not disappoint.I laughed out loud at the banter between the characters. Eric is an endearing book boyfriend.Readers get to know what is beneath Ariel's tough exterior. I hate to see the series end. I will recommend to all my reader friends. Thanks St Martin's Press and NetGalley for the ARC of this title.

Up front- Disney princess movies are not my thing but I do like fluffy romances for late night reading and this succeeds on that level. Ariel and Eric- you know what's going to happen so it's all a matter of how Sivec gets them there. I didn't read the first two novels and I missed a lot of references, I'm sure, but this was a breezy read that I will admit I enjoyed. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. I would not have picked this off the shelf so I'm glad I had the opportunity to read it.

Kiss the Girl is book three in The Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec. Each standalone in the series is based loosely on a fairy tale and this fun, adorable and sexy book featured The Little Mermaid. I truly enjoyed this hilarious and charming book and I think I liked this one the most.
It was always a delight to watch Ariel. She was the sassy one with the colorful language and an attitude to match. The sarcasms that Ariel and Eric threw at each other were hilarious. They were the perfect match to each other. Eric’s thoughtfulness and understanding grounded the craziness and insecurity of Ariel. Eric saw the real Ariel under the veil that she put on to cover her insecurity. He subtly helped her find her confidence and never gave up on her even if she was being a little irrational. He truly was a swoon-worthy good man.
Although this book can be read as a standalone, I still recommend reading the series in order. This way you’ll be able to journey with three unique girls and witness their transformation. Cindy, Belle and Ariel come together at their lowest point in life. Together, they found friendship and support in each other and regained their independence and confidence by starting a successful home stripping business. Their hilarious banter and unconditional support for each other is definitely some of my favorite themes running in the series.
I had so much fun reading this hilarious and entertaining story. I highly recommended this series to anyone looking for something fun, sexy and creative with a fairy tale twist. The sweet epilogue wrapped the series up nicely and give us hope that there is indeed happily ever after in real life. A job well-done Tara!
I received an advance reviewer copy of the book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec was an interesting book. The beginning few chapters were full of harsh language and the female character, Ariel was so negative and abusive. I was not too interested in the story at first and did not know if I would be able to continue reading it, but it calmed down and it did get much better. Eric is the other main character and his character was well developed and likeable. This story had a little bit of everything: romance, humor, and a bit of intrigue. In the end they get their HEA but the journey is an interesting one. I would not recommend this story to anyone who is easily offended by F-bombs and foul language.

I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I loved this book. Tara Sivec can do no wrong in my little heart, it would seem.
What may come as a surprise is that I think this book is my favorite of the three! (But seriously, there needs to be a fourth book with updates! Because HELLO! Brilliance.)
Ariel is a foul mouthed, take no shit boss babe and I think we all can relate to her a little too well at times.
This book is fun, sexy, and a down right good time.
Sigh. Definitely a must read! And even though you *can* read them in any order, I definitely suggest going in the order of publication because going backwards introduces some spoilers :)

❝I just need to be able to pay my bills, finally start stripping for the Naughty Princess Club, and die happy and alone without a man pissing me off and telling me what to do.❞
The Naughty Princess Club series has become a favorite. It’s hysterical, sexy and empowering.
ARIEL WATERS’ character reminds me so much of a friend of mine … she’s sassy and smart-assy. She’s a strong female who refuses to take crap from anyone, refuses to let men fight her battles, and she always has your back.
But, Ariel’s outward appearance didn’t always mirror what was going on in her head. She took a hit to her self-esteem by way of her ex-husband. Unfortunately, his words cut her and challenged her view of herself. She may have helped her friends, Cindy and Belle learn how to break out of their shells and become strong, independent businesswomen, but her insecurities kept her handling the business side of the Naughty Princess Club rather being in the front of the house with her friends. Ariel, like a lot of women, finds negative words much easier to accept and believe, than positive affirmations and, fortunately for her, that was something that Eric understood.
❝You’ve got voices in your head that won’t shut the f*ck up. I know. I’m trying like hell to kick their ass,❞
ERIC SAILOR had his eyes on Ariel since she walked into Charming’s Gentlemen’s Club. He loved her attitude, her sassy mouth, and her curves. YOU GUYS! I melted when Eric began breaking down her walls, when he whispered in her ear, when he showed her the ways she was brilliant and how she was sexy.
The banter between these two was entertaining as hell. The sexual tension was flaming and their chemistry was undeniable.
When I went back through my Kindle to gather my quotes for my review, I realized I highlighted nearly a 1/4 of the book! That certainly explains how I managed to read this book in one day, why I laughed out loud many many times, and why I forgot to eat dinner; I was completely caught up in the story!
If you want laugh-out-loud moments, a slow-burn romance filled with sexual tension, characters who are perfect for each other, then KISS THE GIRL needs to be your next read!

The other book in the series I read was In Bed with the Beast which I truly enjoyed so I was looking forward to the final friend and colleague in the Naughty Princess Club.
Ariel was the driving force of the club and business but I did not warm up to her easily. While some of the sarcasm and mouthyness was humorous, I often thought through the book that I don’t think I would want a friend who would talk to me the way she talked to her friends.
In fact, I am not sure when the loud, rude, bitch factor became acceptable. I don’t see anything attractive about that.
Don’t get me wrong. The story is a great story. Eric is the one who saved the story for me. In so many ways he was behind the scenes but he deeply cared for Ariel and balanced out her dramatic mouth and life. He changed her and gave her back her life.
There were a few memorable scenes in this book that also totally make Kiss the Girl worthwhile to read. The author did a great job with the humor, and the empowerment of women portion of the book, as well as the series all together. I liked that the books can be read as stand-alone's but as in all series, reading them all will give you a wonderful, complete picture.
I’m sure my thoughts on Ariel are not going to be popular. However, I think it is important to say that having a character acting out, being rude and bitchy to friends who are trying to help takes away from the story. I understand people in pain, but acting this way in terms of trying to be humorous is not funny to me.
Overall, I love the concept of the books and this story has a ton of great moments and some delicious heat in it. Ariel’s character was the one I had difficulty with. If you love a strong girl tribe and hottie men that go long with it, this is a great book to grab!

The final book in The Naughty Princess Club gives us Ariel and Eric's story. The little glimpses we got of Eric in the previous books made him out to seem like kind of a sleazy playboy. I really didn't think I was going to like his character but I ended up liking him the most out of all three heroes. He was so NOT sleazy. The way he knew how to handle the prickly Ariel was not only entertaining but also very sweet and caring. He is the character that surprised me the most and in a majorly good way.
Ariel has been a ball buster from the beginning but when we finally got her story, it was actually pretty sad and explains why she was so much bluster. She came off very angry in this book and she has good reason. It was a bit much at times, but there was also some really funny moments when she went into her tirades.
I really got a kick out of Belle in this book. Now that she is with Vincent, her shy, nerdy persona had a bit of a temptress to it. That combination was pretty funny. Cindy, Belle and Ariel have the kind of friendship I loved to read in books. They have solidarity, are completely crazy most of the time and entertaining to read about.
All three books in this series have been very loosely based off Disney fairytales. You can pretty much guess which one's with these character names but make no mistake, these are not Disney stories. All three books have been so much fun to read and I highly recommend them! ARC provided by NetGalley.

I loved this book! The characters were so enjoyable. I have not read the first two novels in this series but now I must do so. Ariel is a lot stronger than she thinks and Eric is her completeness. Thanks to St. Martin’s Press and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Kiss the Girl had a great mix of moments that made me laugh and moments that made me cry. I was very excited for Ariel's book (she's always been my fave princess). I loved all the little tie-ins to the original, and the way Eric helped bring her back to herself and pointed out her strengths. I love her dad, too! And I loved to hate Eric's mom. The ending is perfection, and is wrapped up in a way that makes me wonder if it's the end of the series. I kind of hope not, I know it's random, but there was a character introduced in this book who needs their own fairy tale! Anyways, lots of laughs to be had in this great book about friendship, fierceness, and forever.

A sexy rendition of Disney's The Little Mermaid. This was a cute story with hilarious scenes and one mouthy Ariel. The banter between Ariel and Eric is off the chart as is their sexy time together. This was new for me as I have never been into reading books that tell Disney stories in a romantic way. I like the fact that Ariel has friends just like her, Cindy and Belle

It's time for Ariel the owner of the antique shop and a totally unfiltered girl to win her story in Kiss the Girl. And I can only say that like the previous books in this series, I loved this book.
This series follows the lives of three women: Cynthia, Bela and Ariel, who despite being completely different, being at the worst moment of their life have united to go around and with this formed an improbable but sincere friendship that also resulted in an idea of an enterprise that could solve the financial problems of all:start a striptease business, and so throughout the other books we see her friends gain the confidence they need to start venturing into the business they have created and also find love.Ariel however has no interest in love, was there and ended very bad for her, and even being the most outgoing of the three is the only one who has not yet ventured into her own business for some reason.
In this book we see that behind that strong armor she presents, deep down we see that Ariel is a girl who still suffers from insecurities caused by her ex's idiot and as if that were not enough she still sees her world turn upside down when after not paying the financing of her home, she sees herself lose the only things that still matter to her:his home and especially his antiquities that he so much love. And with no place to live and not wanting to disrupt the happiness of her friends, she finds herself having to rely on an unexpected and somewhat annoying help: from Eric.
I loved watching the growing relationship between Ariel and Eric and how he seemed to understand her like nobody else.I loved how little by little Ariel lowered his guard around him and allowed himself to be fragile and fall in love. The two together provided sweet and fun times.. And of course I can not fail to mention the moment these three women get together, because it's a real laugh.
Kiss The Girl is the latest book in this fun and delicious series. And it brings a story hilarious, sensual, romantic, light and sweet at the same time, definitely one of those books that I didn't leave until the end.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I surprised myself by liking the first two books in the series more than I expected. I’m not a big Disney fan, so the idea of an adult princess story wasn’t a huge draw. This one was my least favourite of the series because Ariel was so harsh. I almost gave up reading because of the way Ariel responded to the eviction notice on her house. She blamed everything on someone else when it was her responsibility to at least read the notices then had been given to her. I was turned off by that type of character.
I decided to read on in case it settled down and it did. Ariel showed more depth of character later on in the story.
Overall, this was not the best of the series. This one seemed to want to push the shenanigans over the top for some comic value and had I not been previously annoyed with Ariel, I might have enjoyed it more.
