This is the first book by Tara Sivec that I have read. It's funny, I'm in her fb group, follow on fb and have even met her once or twice, but for some reason, hadn't gotten around to reading anything by her! Boy, am I realizing my mistake! I was given this book and on a whim decided, why not? The blurb sounded cute. That was pretty much all I went on. I expected it to be cheesy but had no idea how obsessed I would be from page one! Ariel is my spirit animal. From her mouth, to her self esteem, and to her love of carbs. She is, in my opinion, perfect. And I love seeing her in such a fun and real light. Also, this book was hot! It was seriously the perfect combination of laugh out loud funny, sweet and sexy, and just plain awesome. The bad a**ery of Ariel, Cindy and Belle are amazing and I will most definitely be checking out their books, along with everything else by this author!

After Kiss of the Spindle I was a bit hesitant to pick up another fairy tale retelling. However, since I had already read In Bed with the Beast of Tara Sivec (and loved it), I started on The Little Mermaid. But apart from the red hair and the tendency to hoard antiques, this Ariel is nothing like the original fairy tale princess. Bad mouthed, crazy and funny as hell are her armour. Because deed down, Ariel is an insecure girl, thanks to Sebastian, her ex-husband.
When the alimony she is forced to pay him, becomes too much for her to pay, she is evicted. Eric Sailor (what's in a name...) offers her a place to stay. But although Ariel can't stand the guy, she really doesn't want to impose on her best friends, Cindy and Belle from the Naughty Princess Club.
The story is fastpaced, wit a lot of reference to the original fairy tale. But with a lot of funny twists and turns. Absolute hilarious story, so five out of five stars from me. And a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Wow, what a difference!! This book is so much better overall than book 2 in this series. The editing has improved but still found quite a few mistakes. The storyline was written much better. I did not struggle nearly as much to finish this book. I really did enjoy this book much better than the previous one. I’m still not completely fond of the modern day telling of a famous princess story for kids. But I did truly love Ariel and Eric’s story. Ariel is feisty, smart, and quite witty. Ariel along with her two best friends, Cindy and Belle, start a home-stripping business which is very successful which is called The Naughty Princess Club. Ariel finds herself homeless and that her ex-husband has returned to want something from her. Ariel has spent the last two years finding herself again after she divorces her ex, Sebastian. Sebastian was emotionally abusive. Eric has been in love with Ariel from the day he met her months ago. Eric is smart, handsome, sexy, and has a heart of gold. He helps Ariel find herself again by showing her her inner strengths not just telling her. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Much better than the last time. Need better editing.

"I will not succumb to the V, I will not succumb to the V..."
As I suspected, the author saved the best for last. Ariel, the redhead with the fiery temper and no filter. She won me over in the first book and I've been waiting for her story ever since. I knew she was hiding secrets and I couldn't wait to find out what they were and who would be man enough to Kiss the Girl with armor thicker than Ariel's scales. Yes, I did guess, but I wasn't sure at first because she's abrasive to all men, but one, in particular, brought it out of her more than most. What fun it was to watch him attempt to get past her defenses.
I thoroughly enjoyed every book in The Naughty Princess Club series. What a unique and interesting idea the author's imagination conjured for our entertainment. It's the perfect #GirlPower #LadiesNight #LaughTilYouCry #SwoonAndSigh remedy for whatever ails you. I guarantee that these quirky friends, their witty banter, and their unconditional love and support will leave you with a smile on your face. They have no problem with day drinking and their unconventional solutions to problems are hilarious, they do their best brainstorming while drunk. I will never see a Disney reference without being reminded of these naughty princesses going forward. I'm anxious to see what she will come up with next. The line forms here...

Ariel was intense and it took a while for her to grow on me. I really liked Eric though and I think he helped balance her out. Overall, this was a really cute story. The hate was real for Ursula and I'm glad that Vanessa turned out to be a friend. This is the first time I've read this author but I would definitely read more.

First, a PSA: Don't read this book on an airplane (like I did) unless you're OK with the people sitting around you thinking you're crazy because you keep randomly bursting into laughter. This book will absolutely make you laugh, and possibly cry, and probably have ALL the feels as you follow along with Ariel and Eric. Over the past couple of years, Tara Sivec has become one of my favorite authors because she is so good at infusing her stories with real emotion. It's so easy for me to connect with her characters because of that. (In this case, it probably doesn't hurt that Ariel so often says, out loud, the things I say in my head, but usually don't have the courage to say in real life. If she were real, I think Ariel and I would be best friends.)
I adored the first two books in this series, but I think this one may just be my favorite. (I guess I'll have to double check that by going back and re-reading the first two - what a hardship, right? LOL) I don't want to say much more than that because I wouldn't want to spoil things for other readers, but I will say this: goat yoga is awesome, and I would give anything to see something like that in real life. (Not necessarily participate, mind you, because I would definitely mind the poop, but watching would be hilarious. #poopdance)
Please, keep the books coming, Tara Sivec. A new release from you is always a special occasion in my house.
P.S. That epilogue? Perfection! :-)

I liked the others in this series but had a hard time with this book. Kiss The Girl, an adult version with a twist of the Little Mermaid, had some ups.and downs.
I liked Eric but had a hard time liking Ariel. I found her to be a little to harsh and mean and not so sweet. She did have her moments but I. The end this wasn't my favorite.

The Naughty Princess Club is such a delightful series. Kiss the Girl stars our favorite foul-mouthed Ariel Waters and the oh-so-dreamy Eric Sailor.
Ariel Waters wants nothing to do with men or love or romance. She’s FINE. As long as fine stands for: freaked-out, insecure, neurotic and emotional. Beneath her sexy, foul-mouthed façade is a woman that has been hurt and abused. A woman who lost everything she loves because of her terrible ex-husband, Sebastian.
"For the first time since I signed those fucking divorce papers two years ago, all I hear is his voice in my head telling me I'm not pretty enough, not skinny enough, not good enough."
She may not want a knight in shining armor or a beastly man with a kind heart to save her, but Eric is determined to be the sweet, thoughtful, down-to-earth, sexy man that will help her find her voice again.
“Seeing you broken and hurting and sad is like having someone stuck a fucking knife in my chest. I don’t like it. So I’m pissing you off instead, because it brings me great joy to see you fired up."
With the help and support of her best friends Cindy and Belle, along with Eric’s antics and his ridiculous cat Derrick Alfredo (I love him), Ariel starts to believe that maybe the fairytale is possible for her too, but she’s going to have to fight villains both old and new to get it.
The perfect fairytale ending with the best quadruple epilogue! Kiss the Girl is full of laugh-out-loud humor, punny fairytale references, hilarious banter, great friends, naughtiness and sensuality, and a whole lot of girl power! These princesses don’t need saving, but they’re happy to have the support of three super sexy, charming and irresistible princes.
“Can I kiss the girl now? He whispers."
"You’re so cheesy. And no, you can’t kiss me. I’m in charge here. I’ll kiss you.”

I was provided with a copy of this book for review by NetGalley and St.Martin's Press. Thank you!
Another fun princess tale from the Naughty Princess Club! This time it's an angry Ariel who finds her prince...or does she? After being evicted from her home and having all of her precious antiques repossessed for her unpaid debts, she winds up living in an unusual situation with a unique savior. She has sworn off men after her ex has thrown her into this debt by demanding alimony which she can't afford. Can her savior Eric convince her to take one more chance on him?
An enjoyable read, as long as you don't mind some salty language as you become part of her world!

I love the concept of this story & how it twists fairy tales into a whole different kind of story. The romance between Ariel & Eric is fun to watch develop. The idea that Sebastian is her ex-husband giving her a hard time made me laugh. (Sebastian was a favorite of mine in the Disney movie) The story is very tongue in cheek, which was awesome. What I didn't enjoy was all of the language. I don't mind cuss words here & there, but it seemed like every other word was one. Also, I especially dislike the use of GD. Nowhere in the description was there a hint of that kind of language. I think it would have been a much better story without all of the language but that's just my opinion. Otherwise the book was a fun story.

4 Stars!!!
Kiss the Girl is the third book in the naughty princess series..
Ariel Waters is the person behind the Naughty Princess Club Idea. She is one among the partners along with Cindy and Belle.. Though the business idea belongs to Ariel, she has her own inhibitions in performing for their business. Every time she tries to get back her confidence, the memories of her ex-husband just tramps them off..
With her ex taking a lot from her as alimony and her antiques n house taken away by bank, she is clueless about how to go on with her life.. When her whole life is falling apart, Eric Sailor comes for her rescue.. Eric infuriates her and Ariel just cant stand him...
However with time, Eric seems to be the one person who can stand the craziness of Ariel. He seems to be the one who makes her realize her own worth and helps her get back her confidence without making it obvious..
And when they finally fall in love and happy, Eric's mom n Ariel's ex try to shatter everything they have...
There were parts in this book where i couldnt stop laughing.. I loved Eric, and though Ariel was annoying to me at first, i eventually grew fond of her..
This book was a cool and sweet read!!

This book was rom-com perfection! I'm still smiling, swooning and laughing to myself when I think about certain parts of the story. This is the third book in the Naughty Princess series but you don't have to have read the first two to love this one. I loved every word of the entire series and I wish it would keep going somehow.

So while looking at reviews, I came across a spoiler for the whole book. So since it’s ruined I’m just going to say that I’m glad I don’t have to finish reading this.
I was having trouble connecting to Ariel’s character. She came off way too snarky for me. If I was anywhere near this girl I would have to leave asap. Her character was over the top and just downright unlikeable.
I’ve read the previous book in this series and loved it. This just missed the mark for me.
BTW, please mark your reviews with the spoiler tag people!!!

I was so excited to get an advanced copy of Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec. Having been a fan of hers for years, reading all of her books, including the other two in this series, I knew it would be amazing. I laughed for hours, as will any reader. Ariel, she's my spirit animal. A fierce, naughty, potty-mouthed, closet softy! I recommend Kiss the Girl to any lover of laughter and amazingly written books.

I am sad to say I was let down a little by this book, I love the authors older work, where it made me LOL like a crazy person, but I find now that the humour is forced now, it didn't come naturally. I dunno if that was just me, or what. but any who.
This book is the last in the series, Kiss the Girl is about Ariel and Eric. In The Naughty Princess Club.
These books should be read in order to gain more knowledge on how it all came about. Ariel is so mouthy, In your face girl you will read about, she had a crappy ex husband who made her doubt her self all the time, he was a sleazy scum bag.
Eric, he has wanted the feisty red haired Ariel since he first meet her. He has been waiting and the time is now to catch his girl.
These two are funny together, pushing each others buttons and so. But with time he is worming himself into her heart, pushing down them strong walls she has surrounding her heart.
The biggest thing that pissed me off, was the main conflict! that shit is the worst thing I hate! I'm not going to spoil what happens but grrr.
drama, drama, drama
was given an arc for an honest review

Ah, Ariel.. my second favorite Disney Princess! Seriously such a great story! I was hooked from the start. Her spunky personality drew me in and the storyline/other characters kept me turning pages until it was finished. I wish I had read the first two books before this one, but now I know I definitely need to pick them up! If they are as great as this one, I’d recommend them all. Love this story!

I read the proof copy of Kiss the Girl, by USA Today bestselling author, Tara Sivec, at
the request of the publisher, St. Martin’s Press. Sivec has created a sweet, sexy, and hilarious, but potty-mouthed romantic comedy.
Any woman who has ever doubted herself and her abilities, who has ever felt less-than, will enjoy seeing the changes in Ariel Waters as she recovers from a demeaning ex-husband, and financial ruin at his hand. Ariel and her two best friends agree to entertain as princesses at a little girl’s birthday party. When they arrive, they find that the party is for adults, not children. They suffer through, and from there springs their hugely successful new business, “The Naughty Princess Club”.
When a millionaire playboy, Eric, comes to her rescue, she is not impressed. Eric, however, is in love, and will do whatever it takes to win the girl, and to get to Kiss the Girl.
I enjoyed this light and easy read. I would have enjoyed it more if the f-word had not appeared multiple times on almost every page. It added nothing to the story – it actually detracted.
What Makes This Book Reviewer Grumpy?
• Misspelled words;
• multiple split infinitives;
• confusing further with farther;
• using “try and…” rather than “try to…”;
• misplacement of the word “only” within sentences;
• using “bring” in place of “take”;
• using singular verbs with plural nouns;
• using “i” where “me” is needed;
• referring to people as “that” rather than “who”.

Kiss The Girl is my favorite RomCom that I have read this year. I cannot believe that I have not read this author before. This book can be read as a standalone which I did however I suggest starting with the first two books in the series which I seriously wish I had done. I loved it! I loved the characters! Ariel was a hoot! Eric is definitely a prince. And I need some BFFs like the ones in this book.

Very cute take on The Little Mermaid story-only using the characters though and not really the meat of the story ;).
Ariel is a foul-mouthed antiques dealer who's been burned by a past love-Sebastian -and has hardened her heart against men. She and her two besties Cindy and Belle (wink wink) are starting a stripping business called the Naughty Princess Club. This was the third book in this series but I think that it read fine as a standalone. I enjoyed reading about Ariel coming back to her own and letting Eric help her. I was a little frustrated with her towards the beginning of the book. She knows she's close to getting evicted but can ignore that?? Thankfully, she learns to not ignore her problems thinking that they will go away.
The banter was cute between all the friends and I liked the girl power theme.
Thanks to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the ARC in return for my honest review.

I absolutely love this series by Tara Sivec. So many laugh out loud moments.
Thanks netgalley for the Arc
