I unfortunately forgot to download the e-book on my kindle before it was archived so I wasn’t able to read and review it (on time). Since I Must give a star rating, I’ve given it 3 stars to stay neutral/in the middle. Sorry to the publisher for not having gotten around to actually read it.

Great romantic read with low drama. Fast paced novel with a great build world. Perfect read for an afternoon. Arc provided by Netgalley

I found this book a little hard to really get into. While in the beginning the story started off strong I quickly lost a little interest. The story was completely predictable and I wish the author would have thrown in a few twist here and there to keep the reader guessing. The story did have a few curse words in the book and sexual innuendoes. Over all the story was cute and the book was a quick read, if you are looking for a book that you can quickly read this book is for you for sure.

No, prima donna ballerina Jessica Carmichael isn’t interested in the rough-and-tumble rodeo cowboy she met in physical therapy. In fact, she’s actively uninterested in his cocky smile, and his go-with-the-flow attitude, and how his silly little bets make her work harder than ever to fix her knee. She’d like nothing more than to strangle him, if she wasn’t so busy thinking about kissing him. Matt Walker's best hope of getting back in the saddle is charming Jessica into teaching him ballet. He needs to get back on the bronc…even if he has to get there in tights. Only the uptight ballerina lives in a completely different world, one he wouldn't touch with a ten-foot mechanical bull. But maybe the one thing she needs more than control is to lose control for once—with him.
This is a pretty decent story of opposites attract and worlds collide. I enjoyed both characters and they go through the mess that life has thrown them. I enjoyed watching them fall in love and get their HEA. I recommend.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and Entangled Publishing and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was a good story and I did enjoy it. The cowboy and the ballerina was a great concept to read. They came from two totally different worlds. They meet at a rehab center after both suffer from the same type of knee injury. The journey to their HEA was a delight to see how they adjusted to overcoming their adversaries.

I enjoyed the dual POV. There was also quite a bit of knowledge to learn about ballet. It was good thing to highlight and see the meaning on my dreaded.

I recommend this read to anyone. All sexual scenes were just eluded to leaving the details to the reader’s imagination.

Ahhhhh this was just such a great read. I just didn't want this book to end and I was sad to turn the last page. I'm so excited to see what's next from this author.

We have a wild bronc rider and a ballerina two people who could not be further different than these two, both struggling with injuries that could end their careers. Jessica was a ballerina who was on top of the world til she fell and tore a ligament but refuses to believe the doctors insisting that she can mend before one of the top performance that she has been waiting for and has agreed that she will go for physical therapy. While there she meets Matt and I have to say that at the beginning I almost stopped reading because his language felt weird like not from this age, but I continued to read and I have to say that I did enjoy it, not loved it but good enough to pass the the time. While these two spent time together they slowly fell in love even though they really had nothing in common but pushed each other further to get out of their comfort zone. When they decide to go all in, Matt gets scared and pushes her away but when he realizes what a mistake he has made it will take something big for her to give him a chance. Does he?

This was my first book by Robert Tate Miller. I enjoyed it and would like to read more from this author. I describe this book as a low angst, clean romance. The story was entertaining and the characters were fun and witty, with the exception of Jessica, one of the protagonists. Jessica was not the friendliest. I would describe her as standoffish and pretentious. She is a ballerina brought up in a wealthy household so this has shaped her character. I was not her biggest fan for most of the book however, I appreciated how her character grew and developed into someone I could like as the story moved forward.

Matt was fun and witty, if not stubborn, from the beginning. While he was the complete opposite of Jessica in personality, they had good chemistry and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop. If I'm honest, which I am, Matt was the true hero of the book. It was Matt that helped me to enjoy this story. As I mentioned earlier, Jessica was not very personable as well as difficult to like. But by the end my opinion changed.

Briefly, I'll tell you that both Matt and Jessica injured themselves doing what they each loved. Both ended up with similar knee injuries and at the same rehabilitation center. It was here they first meet. I won't go into details because you should experience their relationship without any spoilers from me. While their friendship started off slowly, I enjoyed watching them together. Each had something to teach the other and this helped grow appreciation for their respective careers and what shaped them to be the people they are.

There were times, I wondered how Matt and Jessica would work in the end. They both had completely different personalities; completely different lives. In addition, they lived 2,000 miles from each other. Thankfully, though, they did work it out in the sweetest happily-ever-after.

As I understand it, this trope was new to this author. I want to say, I think he did a great job and I would love to read more, especially regarding cowboys. ;)

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

I really enjoyed the story from this new-to-me author. The hero got on my nerves the first chapter of the book but then I really got into the story and I couldn't put it down.

The story of Matt and Jessica. A case of opposites attract.

They meet when they are both recovering from knee surgery. She is a ballerina and he is in the rodeo. Both have an important event they are working towards, so can they help each other get there?

A fairly fast paced read. Well written and enjoyable to read.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a voluntary and honest review.

I just loved Matt and Jessica's story, these two cannot stand each other when they first meet, both have to go to physical therapy in hopes to save their careers him as a rodeo star and her as a ballerina. But they are teamed up together and they more they get to know each other the more they cannot deny the chemistry between them this is a really good read and I just love watching their relationship develop.

This book had a little of everything and it made for one amazing story! It was heart-meltingly romantic and just as achingly sweet as the first book I’ve read by this author. Definitely has me coming back for more. Totally recommend to all book lovers out there.

I must say I never expected the pairing of a ballerina with a cowboy and yet Jessica and Matt stole my heart! From the very beginning I loved the characters and how Miller has brought them to life. Miller's writing really captured my attention and I was able to picture myself right there in the story.

The book is extremely well written and concise, the characters are amazing and the banter between Jessica and Matt brought a smile to my face each and every time. The support between the characters and how their romance blossoms from that support is really heartwarming.

I really enjoyed this read.

A cute story about opposites attracting--the cowboy and the ballerina!

Jessica and Matt's meet cute at the rehab center was adorable--I loved how their competitive natures were brought out as they became reluctant rehab partners, and continued later on as Jessica tried to help him to rehab further on the outside (or tried to get him to quit...? You decide her real goals there ;))

There were some pretty convenient coincidences/plot points along the way--that their big nights were on the same night in the same city, even though he's a rodeo star from Montana and she is a New York ballerina; that we're supposed to believe a NYC police horse could go all through her pregnancy to delivery day without anyone knowing she was pregnant, for example--and their relationship woes do seem to resolve themselves pretty quickly in the end...but by that time you're pulling for them pretty hard, so you almost don't even notice.

Still, this was a light, cute read. My first book from this author, but definitely not my last :)

Rating: 4 stars / B

I really enjoyed this book. I like the slow born this book brought. I also liked how they met. I really liked the storyline. Two injured people who live completely different lives meet in an unexpected place and fall in love. I liked that it was not the typical love story. I liked how competitive they were and made it a sort of a hate to love relationship. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a sweet romance.

Jessica is a prima ballerina which means undergoing physical. Which is where she meets a real cowboy, rugged ways and all, named Matt. Sure, he's attractive if you like that smile and his ability to go with the flow. Then there's his bets that make her work harder on getting back in shape. And just because she's thinking about kissing him doesn't mean she likes him.

Matt wants more than anything to get back in the saddle, and for that he needs Jessica. Oh, and to convince her to teach him ballet. Shouldn't be a problem, right? So what if he'll have to wear tights and their worlds are completely different. Once he gets what he wants they'll never have to cross paths again. They can easily put up with each other for that long.

With both Matt and Jessica striving to return to their respective careers, of which they're each at the top of, they have other things on their minds. But as they spend more time together while working through their rehab exercises, they begin to see they may have misjudged each other. Soon Jessica agrees to help Matt and they're falling more in love with every encounter.

But are Matt's feelings for her real or is he using her to fully heal and get back to the rodeo? Can these two, such opposites, make a relationship work? Is a HEA in their future?

One-click now and follow along as two people need to heal in more ways than one.

Jessica is a ballerina and Matt is a cowboy and they both have injuries they can't deny that could end their careers. While going through some physical therapy program they end up as exercise partners and their personalities clash but they work for one another giving them the challenge and drive they need to better themselves. Thing is Matt might need more then just what the program offers and seeks Jessica's help to train in ballet which was proven to help a lot of downed athletes and he will do everything he can to get back on the saddle. They both just didn't expect their heart to get mixed up in eachother.

You know what I really enjoyed this book. I'm a sucker for that enemies to lovers kinda thing, I love with personalities clash and I loved the challenge them working together posed. I loved the playful banter and seeing them step out of their comfort zone with each dare. I loved the romance that was blooming between the two. I cheered for them when things where looking up and was sadden when things looked dire. This was such a fun book to read and another thing I liked about this book was that there was a clean romance there was no need to get down and dirty with the private details this book was great without it. Highly recommend!

A ballerina and a Cowboy...who would have ever thought! Jessica and Matt are amazing characters, easy to relate to and super easy to follow. They both suffered injuries that would potentially affect their careers for ever. The unlikely couple met in a rehab facility and it definitely isn't love at first sight, but soon the sparks started. The book takes you on a realistic journey, that is so easy to relate to. Extremely well written, I didn't want to put this book down! A must read!!

I really enjoyed this one. I was intrigued by the blurb involving a cowboy and ballerina. I found one of my favorite things about this book is the humor. It set a nice feel to the book. The banter between Jessica and Matt hooked me right in. They had so much chemistry and you could feel the connection. I felt the last chapter summed up this couple perfectly. Can I say swoon. The epilogue was the icing on the cake. This is the first book I've read by Robert Tate Miller and it won't be my last. I read his bio at the end of the book found out he was involved in the movie Farewell Mr. Kringle. That is a movie I look forward to watching on Hallmark every year so it's no wonder why I fell in love with his book.

Rodeo rider Matt "Mad Dog" Walker is on the fast track to being All Around Cowboy, the best bronco rider in the world when one bad ride tears his ACL. The rodeo doc is convinced Matt should retire, or at least sit out the rest of the season, but Matt is too close to achieving his dream of being the best and fulfilling a promise he made to his father before he passed to sit out the Big Ride. Matt's uncle and manager Harry is convinced he should take the doctor's advice, but knowing his stubborn nephew, he finds the best rehab facility in the country to give him a shot at a full recovery before his foolhardy ride.

Prima ballerina Jessica Carmichael knows something is wrong as soon as she lands a sauté in a performance. The doctors confirm she's torn her ACL. All Jessica knows is dancing, and she refuses to miss the Rite of Spring performance where she made her debut at age sixteen. If she's going to dance again, she has to be able to trust her knee one hundred percent, and the only way she'll do that is if she works with the best rehabilitation clinic in the country.

When Matt and Jessica both arrive at the clinic, their competitive natures cause them to push one another in therapy to good affect. They came to heal their damaged knees and get back on top of their game, but could these two competitors win at the game of love as well?

Robert Tate Miller has crafted a Cutting Edge-esque romance that's funny and witty, but most of all heartwarming. Jessica and Matt are both natural born competitors who love what they do. Neither one is ready to walk away from their career, even in the face of such a serious injury. Although the Manhattan born and bred ballerina and the Montana ranch owning rodeo rider live in two different worlds, they share a grit and determination, and a mutual attraction, that makes their burgeoning romance fun to watch. I also enjoyed the supporting characters of Jessica's sister, Kat, and Matt's uncle, Harry. They injected much needed realism and sound advice into the headstrong duo.

In addition to a man's name being on the cover of the book, there were a couple other things that were different about this romance. The hero and heroine didn't meet until I was about 12% into the book, and they spend a sizeable amount of time away from each other in comparison to other category romance titles. There were also a few points where I felt like the narration turned more clinical and distant than it should have been for the poignancy of the moment the characters (and the reader) were in. Lastly, if I never hear the term "in the footlights" again, I think it will be too soon.

Overall, I enjoyed the crisp, concise language and the way Miller unfolded the story. Miller does a great job of establishing the characters of Jessica and Matt in the readers' mind and bringing the New York and Montana settings to life. I loved the banter between Jessica and Matt, and I couldn't wait to see how the Big Ride and the "big dance" went. I would recommend this opposites attract romance to anyone who loves their romance with witty banter, loveable characters, settings that become characters, and cowboys who can ride a bucking bronco and jeté, plié, and sauté.
