I am always excited to read Buzz Book Monthly's latest titles, and the issue for September 2018 is no exception. While there are a few notable titles already on my TBR list - namely, Imogen Hermes Gowar's The Mermaid and Mrs. Hancock as well as Stuart Turton's The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle - there are also a few pleasant surprises, such as Sarah Pinborough's latest thriller Cross Her Heart and Rebecca Serle's The Dinner List.

I can't wait to dive in!

Really enjoyed this group of excerpts. Especially appreciate that the mystery genre is well represented in the highly anticipated 7 ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle excerpt and the mystery A Willing Murder by Jude Deveraux. Thank you for publishing Book Buzz!

Every month I download Buzz Books Monthly as soon as I see it is available. The difference this month? We are SO in sync. There were very few surprises this month, and the books that were highlighted were already at the top of my TBR. This month's edition of Buzz Books didn't grow my TBR as it usually does, but got me even more excited about the books that I've already got for September!

An incredibly helpful monthly resource for upcoming books. The excerpts included cover a good variety of genres and styles. I will be recommending this to reader and reviewer friends.

What an awesome way to introduce books to readers. Each book has a chapter or two for the reader to check out to see if they like the writing and want to read more. I requested two and wrote the rest down for later. Each excerpt usually has a link that the reader can click on that takes them to Netgalley where they can request the book! Such a brilliant idea.

Thank you so much for posting these to look through. It introduces me to books I may not pick up before and gives me a chance to get a taste for what's to come later this year. It gets me so excited! I wouldn't have known about these otherwise. Some of them, I wasn't a fan of, but others sound great. A lot to choose from this time around. Thanks!
