I can't even tell you how much this book will age you. The stress, strain, and crazed situations will give you grey hairs and possibly a heart condition.

Young Enough gives you hope but man do you have to hold on with both hands kicking and screaming. Charmaine Pauls does not, I repeat does not, take it easy on the reader. This isn't a slightly bumpy road this is a freaking volcano dumped in the middle of your backyard. It's rough and you can't run from it. You will be burned. Your only saving grace is if you catch the warning signals.

A heroine that has a spine of steel and a heart of gold, but everyone has a breaking point right?
A hero that has eyes for her and that will be her Knight no matter the cost.

The feels keep on flowing in Young Enough, the continuation of the bidding taboo romance of Brian & Jane. The agony of Jane's sordid life keeps giving away and life as she knows it keeps falling apart. It seems that her happiness with Brian can't stay on track. At times I felt, will they ever get a break, a breath of fresh air?

In the end, all I can truly say is some characters step up to the plate, while some get what they deserve and others I wished had more of a harsher/pensive punishment that what the author wrote. My emotions were ALL OVER the place within Young Enough, more so than the first book. But I must commend the heroine for her composure in certain situations towards others. I am happy that she is again partnered with Brian as he is the perfect completion to her half. Just proving that their age gap is just a number and love prevails and to make known that you need happiness in your life. also, not forget the erotic scenes that Pauls' writes is enticing and passionate!

The conclusion to the 'The Age Between Us' series that I have been anxiously waiting for. Brian and Jane's taboo relationship is out in the open and everyone in their life has an opinion, mostly negative. Will their love conquer these obstacles or will someone succeed in tearing their relationship apart?

I really loved this duet, but I have some grievances to share about Jane and Brian. First of all, this story completely changed my love for Brian. He has went from sweet (but dirty) to wicked in a heartbeat. His obsession with Jane completely changes the sweet Brian that we meet in the first book into a devious Brian that is willing to take dangerous risk that ultimately hurts someone he loves the most.

Now Jane is still the strongest, but also the most abused character that I have ever read about. The things she goes through is too much for one person to bear. Does Brian deserve her love and absolution? I'm not so sure.

Young Enough is the last book of the duet in the ‘Age Between Us’ Series by Charmaine Pauls. It continues the story of Jane and Brian, a romance that to some may be taboo but to me was beautiful. In Old Enough, we are left with questions without answers and in this we get them along with some shocking surprises and reveals. I really don’t want to spoil anything so I won’t say anything more except to say that Charmaine has once again done it and I cannot wait to see more from her.

Just I was with the first installment, I was disappointed by this story. There was so many obstacles for the main characters and it all seemed just too far-fetched for me.

This bittersweet duet will be hard to forget because Jane and Brian's attraction to one another is undeniable from the very beginning, their chemistry explosive, which only intensifies in this concluding book. Such an emotional journey of passion, drama, love, pain, betrayal, loss, loyally and ultimately growth with memorable secondary characters too. Young Enough was an absolutely beautiful, heartfelt book. A real rollercoaster of ride, that I TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY LOVED. I'm REALLY going to miss this verse, these characters so much. Definitely one of my all-time favourites.

Amazing book! I couldn’t read fast enough to see if they would get their happily ever after!! Count me as the author’s number one fan!!

After reading Old Enough I was left with a feeling of satisfaction because the story ended in a good place, with an amazing hook to wait for the next book in this duet, but without the frustration of a cliffhanger. Now that I've read Young Enough I have no doubts left that Charmaine Pauls is a step away from being a genius when it comes to writing these duets.

Jane is a strong woman. I've said it before and I'll say it again. She's one heck of a strong woman. Not only she gets divorced because her husband left her, she moves out of the house, her daughter is going back and forward between the houses, but she also has to deal with being Brian's secret. Mind you, she's not upset she's a secret at first but that can get old pretty fast.

Brian is trying to correct his mistakes and his making a poor job at it. I think this guy should be smack some to see if he can actually wake up. He's a good guy but he made a lot of bad decisions in the past and they all catch up to him at the end. What's worst, they spill over onto Jane.

The ending was so satisfying for me. I know it's an HEA but Jane did what she had to do and she did not give him the easy way in when he came back to her. I love it and the age difference was a phenomenal aspect. I've seen books about older guys with younger woman A LOT, and I've seen a few younger guys with older women but those... the age difference it's minimal. In here Jane has more than 20 years over Brian and LOVE IT.

You can't imagine how many amazing quotes I got from this duet. Just like with Old Enough, this book gave me so many that I could fill a small notebook with them. Well, not THAT many but I swear the little nuggets of wisdom and love that I got were so worth it.

I'm a fan of Charmaine Pauls and now I want to read all of her books, current (that I haven't yet) and future. I would recommend you to dive head first because you won't regret it.

Jane’s world is still getting blown apart. And the one person she thought had her back has betrayed her. Or has he Brian has known from the beginning that being with Jane was going to be hard. Almost impossible but for him, there is no end to this where he and Jane are not together. Life is destroying Jane piece by piece and Brain can't help her. She no longer trusts him and throws him out of her life. That decision almost cost her her life. Her daughter has moved in with he ex, she lost her job to Brian and she lost her house again. This is the best follow up I did not expect to enjoy it more than the first one but it is fast-paced. Intrigue is everywhere nothing is what it seems and the ending is just unbelievable. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. I read it twice it was that good. And the first time I read it I was afraid I missed something I was reading so fast. All I can say is enjoy the ride.

Young Enough is book Two in the The Age Between Us by Charmaine Pauls. This continues the story of Brian and Jane. I do strongly feel you should read the previous book 'Old Enough' before reading this one. f
Jane has suffered through so much. Jane was a strong women that did have weak moments as anyone would in her shoes. Although Brian was young in physical age he was a older sole who had to fight to get what he wanted. For so much of their difference there so much that they were as one.
Really enjoyed reading their story.

This is the follow up to Jane and Brian's story from the first book. I felt so many emotions while reading this book. The twists and turns just keep coming in this story. How will Jane and Brian deal with the judgment, secrets, and lies without losing their relationship? A stunning conclusion to the duet.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

I finally got to read this and it was everything I hoped for and more. After finishing Old Enough I really didn’t know how this story was gonna go. The author certainly exceeded my expectations. Make sure you read Old Enough before you read this book.

There’s quite a big age difference between Jane and Brian. I was really hoping Jane would find her happy ever after... she’s been through so much that she deserved it.
Brian is a fabulous character. He keeps proving how strong he is and how much he loves Jane.

The author stepped up the emotion barometer with this story. I felt the author pulled me through the wringer while reading this but it was so worth it.

Can’t wait to read more from this author. I totally loved this duet.

Part two of this series and I felt the book did not disappoint. Looking at age gap relationships and taboo with a lot of hot saucy action In between it was a fitting conclusion to the series.

Young Enough is part of a book duo by Charmaine Pauls. It is the perfect book for someone who enjoys erotic suspense with dark themes. While it is not for everyone, it was solidly written and includes a fair amount of plot intrigue and romance.

Young Enough is part 2 and also the conclusion in the "Age Between Us" series and must be read consecutively with part 1 - Old Enough. A contemporary erotic romance, with an older-younger theme and some drama thrown in for good measure, although this time we see the heroine being the older character which makes for a nice change with most usually having an older H, younger h.

Young Enough starts where ends. Jane, once happily married to her architect husband, with a beautiful 12yr old daughter, living in their dream home and working a dream job couldn't be more blessed, but all that changed in the blink of an eye and Jane's once perfect life has become the perfect nightmare! With secrets, betrayal and death being just a few of the things thrown poor Jane's way, life has certainly kicked her while she's down. Yet this is just the beginning of her problems. Jane and Brian's love develops into more than just sex and Brian wants their relationship out in the open. Jane's angst over what people will think about her dating a man less than half her age isn't unwarranted and proves a costly decision, with her daughter throwing serious allegations into the mix and her friends turning their back on her, Jane is left with no other choice than to say goodbye.
Brian is obsessed and will do whatever it takes to be with Jane. But with Monkey (the towns mafia boss) blackmailing him into marrying his daughter and trying to take care of his alcoholic mother who suffers from severe anxiety disorders, white being a surrogate father to his young sister, all while trying to keep a new job and studying, things aren't good. Throw in someone from Jane's past who is out to destroy her using Brian as his scapegoat.... hell, things couldn't get much worse... Yet, they do. Much, much worse!
The secrets from both Jane and Brian's past come to light with dire results. Everything is against them and when Brian betrays Janes trust, AND puts her life at risk she is left holding on by a bare thread. Damaged and heartbroken.she leaves to find herself again and heal her broken soul....

I'm not going to say anything more, you'll just have to read it and find out how this story ends? Jane is one tough woman. When life turned on her, she never gave up. Although she did annoy me slightly with her submissive attitude to her ex and his new partner and letting them do whatever they wanted?
Brian's love for Jane, although a little, actually who am i kidding, A LOT obsessive, was a thing of both beauty and beast! He definitely was into some kinky sex, although still in the vanilla variety rather than bdsm. He also brought out Jane's hidden kinky side and made her feel comfortable doing things she wouldn't have dreamt of with her conservative ex husband. There was quite a lot of action and drama going on in their lives and it made for interesting reading. The ending was nice and the author adds an epilogue of a few years down the track.

I would certainly recommend this intense and sexual duet to all readers of romance/erotic romance. I would have given it 5 stars but a few things urked me and i thought pt1 was slightly too long. Other than that, this was a great read!

Young Enough, The Age Between Us book two, by Charmaine Pauls brings the D to RAMA! WOOO…. so much happening in this book.

How do you keep your composure when life deals you a bad hand? Jane kept her composure the ENTIRE TIME when I would have been climbing the walls freaking out, pissed off, ready to take anyone and everyone out. Dealing with a failed marriage due to her husband's infidelity (I have fallen in love and it’s not you….), dealing with an angry teenage daughter due to failed marriage (that in itself is a handful), the now ex-husband and his brand new fiancée are expecting; oh and guess what…… he wants the house back for his “new family”.

Just when Jane begins to start living again, trying to be normal, a fortune teller tells her that she is in another bad relationship. Welp, you know how the saying goes “when it rains it pours” and it pours on poor Jane, literally in this book. I had to stop myself several times from yelling at my poor tablet, wanting to go off on a certain character. Even to the point where I just wanted to jump into my tablet real quick and just handle business for Jane. I understand keeping the peace but there are times when you have got to put your foot down. But she made it out gracefully, A LOT more gracefully than I would have, HA! The Princess gets her Prince, which she TOTALLY DESERVES <3

I have read all types of romance from paranormal, bdsm, dark, age difference, dom/sub you name it but I have never read an “age difference” where the male is younger than the female. For me, Brian should have been a tad older. He just felt older, maybe 30’s. Or maybe it’s me because I have a 19-year-old son and could not wrap my head around it so I just pictured him in his mid-30’s. But Lord help the woman my son dates if my 19 yr old knows how to do all that: delete, delete, delete that out of my brain. But lots, lots and lots of hot sex scenes! Good gravy Brian is very resourceful. Excuse me, I need to go cool off now.

This is the second installment of this series. We continue with the story of Jane and Brian trying to be together, with a 23year age gap between them. You see them go throw ups and downs and quite honestly, a shit ton of drama was thrown at them. I did at times feel like a lot was going on individually with both Jane and Brian and then with both together, that I just needed a break to regroup. I did thoroughly enjoy the suspense in parts and became so invested in the storyline I found myself being mad for the characters. Specifically, Jane. Oh that, woman. I don’t know if she’s a better and stronger person than I am or a doormat. But props to her for being the bigger person through the whole story, I couldn’t do it!

Would highly recommend this book and the series. Well rounded book, with enough suspense, angst and sexiness!

This was a frustrating read!! You just wanted to push and slap someone....HARD!!!! Sometimes it was Jane! I enjoyed This read. It was slow at first, but when it got going...It was on! Rollercoaster of emotions. Brian is sweet and caring. Jane and her story finally comes out! Good read!!! Characters were good and I would have liked to have read about Monkey and how that all turned out and went down. Overall, great read!!

I received this ARC from the publisher at my request via Net Galley for an honest review. The opinion expressed are my own.Thank you Net Galley!

*** Be warned, this book is red-hot and you will not be able to put it down! *** Young Enough is the second book in The Age Between Us duet. If you have not read Old Enough, the first book in this duet, you will be a little lost. I recommend you go back and read the first book. I really loved the first book in this series and didn't think that I could possibly like this book more….Boy was I wrong. I absolutely loved this book. If I could give it more than five stars I would. Young Enough is the continuation of Jane and Brian’s dark, erotic love story.
At times this book was sooo intense, I was overwhelmed, but I couldn't put it down. I read the whole book in about five hours. There were multiple times where I actually said, “Noooo, OMG, that did not just happen!” This book has everything, lust, deceit, lies, blackmail, and an all consuming love between two people that defies all logic.
Ms. Pauls writing is superb, from the first word to the last. Her further development of the secondary characters are carefully crafted, and in the end their true nature is revealed. While the story unfolds she deliberately divulges little hints of what may happen and then… the book explodes! When you think you have figured out what is going on, there is a new twist, a new lie brought to light, another person’s betrayal is exposed, all of which is attempting to keep Brian and Jane apart. I love the way Ms. Pauls cultivates the relationship between Jane and Brian. The love and heartbreak they share wraps around your heart, squeezing until you feel as lost and out of control as they do. She also writes the most amazing, seductive scenes… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 steam meter! The big question: do Jane and Brian get the HEA they so deserve or do the circumstances and people in their lives who are plotting against them win? Sorry, not going to tell! 🤭
The Age Between Us duet will go down as one of my favorite duets. I might just have to go back a read it again, it was just that heart wrenchingly beautiful!
***I kindly received an ARC of this book by way of NetGalley/publisher/author. I was not contacted, asked or required to leave a review in order to read this book. I received no compensation, financial or otherwise. This is my honest review.***

Sorry but it pains me to say i was really disappointed! I mean i loved this author's last book but this one was a disaster.
The first one set my hopes high but after reading all i felt was anger and frustration.
Heroine's life was so irritating and unjust that i have no words. Most of all the characters were too mean and did'nt even paid for their doings. Rapists were wandering freely and mean people were getting all the fortune yeah i know real life is similar but there is a reason books are my escape and this book totally left me angry and hurtful..
I hope i can enjoy her next book but this was one was not my fav at all..
