I feel like this book is one of the books I'd love to see as a movie but not read.
It was a very slow burn romance. The focus is more on the chateau Jolie the heroine manages and the upcoming prom than their romance. I am more than half in and I am dnf-ing because so far nothing much interesting is happening. I miss romance, passion.

No One Like You is the first book that I read by Heather McGovern and the first in her Chateau Jolie series. There was so much going on in this book that I had a hard time really following everything.

this was cute! it's not a book that's going to stick with me, but I enjoyed myself and I really liked the process of the prom.

Another good well written read from Heather. I have read several of Heather's other book so I had a good idea I would enjoy this one and it did not disappoint. This was a cute romance with good characters that are really likable and real. I enjoyed Brooke and Trevor's story and I am looking forward to reading her sisters books

Mary Jo – ☆☆☆☆
This book has a lot going on, and I enjoyed it all.

It’s nice to see characters struggling with their place in their families. It's something that we've had to relate to at one time or another. It's more than being the outcast, black sheep, unwed teenage mother/father. It’s being the child who doesn't quite fit in. Either the youngest who isn't the mirror image of their older siblings in athletics or academics, or the eldest feeling the pressure to set a good example to his/her younger siblings. We've all had the feeling of not quite living up to the family expectations.

This is what we have here with Brooke and Trevor. Brooke's back home after a failed marriage and is trying to manage her family's hotel and winery. She's afraid that if something doesn't happen soon, the inn will falter and close thereby leaving her legacy as the one who couldn't manage the inn. She hasn't told many people about her marriage and divorce, it’s not something she's proud of and feels as though it will ruin the community's good will towards her family.

Trevor's back in Windamere after working for a couple of years in Peru building homes and schools for people in need. Problem is, when he left for that little adventure, he only planned on being gone for a few weeks but once there, stayed. His brothers and sister are afraid that he's going to leave again – and without notice – so they are constantly asking him his plans. He realizes that he's now part of the family business and can't just leave for extended periods of time, but Trevor realizes that without his time away, the urges to run are almost overwhelming.

Both Trevor and Brooke have a lot of issues to explore and conquer, and as we get to know them, you can definitely see how opposites attract.

This is the third book in this series and it follows the same line. Falling in love with someone you were against because you finally see the real person. And then realize you can be happy if you have the courage to try.

Thank you to NetGalley, Lyrical Shine and Heather McGovern for an ARC ebook copy to review. As always, an honest review from me.

No One Like You is a sweet and sexy contemporary romance story that features an iconic moment in a teen’s life the high school prom. Except the main characters aren’t in high school anymore. They own hotels and wineries nearby and are begged to host the local prom after their venue couldn’t anymore. Trevor and Brooke end up planning the event together, despite some ups and downs.

I like that there’s some history between the two. They had met at a wedding months prior and there was some obvious attraction. So it’s not some brand new whirlwind romance. It took some time and is built off mutual trust and understanding. My kind of novel. The locales don’t hurt either. Gorgeous wineries, hotels, and gardens set the scene for a lovely romance. I especially like the couple. They’re both private people by nature. Also the actual planning of the event was really fun to read about.

However, their family’s backstory at times was a bit vague and confusing. With it being such an important part of the book, I wish it was a bit more figured out. But with a romance it’s easy to overlook those aspects as a reader.

Overall a lovely romance that I would love to read more of, in the series. A serious but feel good read.

By the end of this one I felt deeply invested in the three sisters and their winery. Brooke was the perfect introduction to this series, and Trevor was just the man she needed.

No One Like You begins the Sargent sisters adventures in business, life and love in the Chateau Jolie series (a spin-off series from Honeywilde Romance). While I would say it’s not technically necessary to have read Honeywilde Romance before diving into this series… they are wonderful stories in their own right and would only enhance your enjoyment of this new series… in my opinion.

Brooke is determined to make her family’s inn and winery a success along side her sisters. It won’t be easy for they have some pretty impressive competition in the form of Honeywilde Inn and the Bradley family’s influence in the town. That’s not going to stop Brooke, she’s not going to be the generation that let the family legacy fall apart… even if she has no idea how to prevent that from happening. It certainly didn’t help matters any that she’s had a mild flirtation and a lovely evening with Trevor Bradley at a recent wedding reception. But those feelings had to be shut down fast for there was no way that Brooke was willing to put her trust into any man again after her disastrous marriage and resulting divorce… and especially not with a member of the competition’s family. No. This thing with Trevor would go nowhere… now she just had to convince them both.

I enjoyed No One Like You, it’s an excellent start to the new series. Trevor and Brooke are such a perfect for each other couple but they certainly do have issues to work through, and family to deal with. Family. Sometimes they are your worst nightmare come to life with expectations that are so far from reachable. And then they can be a fife saver… family, gotta love ’em. If you’re in the mood for a really good romance that will touch your emotions and grab your curiosity, then you’d love Trevor and Brooke’s romance.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Entertaining read that introduces us to the Sargent sisters. They own Chateau Jolie and are working hard to make it successful. The last thing Brooke Sargent needs is to deal with Trevor Bradley. First she has no time or desire to figure out her attraction to him. Second his family is their biggest competition. Nothing good can come of this. Can it?

I'm enjoying this spinoff of the Honeywilde series. This author does a great job developing interesting characters and writing fresh intriguing stories. This book is no exception and I'm looking forward to more! I highly recommend this one.

3.5 stars

This is a new-to-me author, but I wanted to check her out when I read the description of this story. Since it is the first of a series, I figured it would be a good place to dive into reading this author’s work. Seems like this is an offshoot of this author’s A Honeywilde Romance, but I don’t think not reading that series was a detriment while reading this one. But I do feel some depth was missed.

Trevor is an amazing guy. I’m sure I would have liked his character even more if I had gotten to know him in the Honeywilde series. He’s laid back and a go with the flow kind of guy, but he’s also extremely caring and empathetic. Trevor and Brooke had an instant connection, even if she’s resistant. But Trevor is persistent without crossing the line into being a creeper. He pushes just enough to let Brooke make her own choices after realizing she needs more fun and excitement in her life.

I really enjoyed a lot about this story, but there was a piece of the puzzle I felt I was missing. Brooke and Trevor definitely had chemistry, even though I didn’t find it to be off the charts. I don’t think their subtle chemistry was the problem. There were some issues I had with trying to figure out how Trevor’s family wasn’t more familiar with Brooke’s family when they all went to high school in the same small town. Wouldn’t they all at least know each other on a peripheral level? Yet that also isn’t what kept this story from being more than okay for me. There was just something lacking in this story that kept me from being fully engaged.

That all being said, I think I would still like to explore this author. Whether it would be best to go back and read the first book of the Honeywilde series, A Moment of Bliss, or waiting and reading the next book in this series when it comes out, I don’t know. Her writing is engaging enough and her storyline compelling enough for me to give her another go.

This is a sweet story. I liked Trevor, the hero, and the setting. But the romance never really sparked for me.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

What a sweet story about opening your heart again after being put through the ringer. Brooke has to work with Trevor her families competition but the man who made her forget her misery even if it was just dancing/conversation. Perfect blend of sisterhood even though Brooke tries so hard to keep her sisters from taking on her mistakes. Trevor is trying to prove himself to his brother but he feels like he’ll never never do it no matter how much he achievesd .. Heartwarming, love story about family togetherness and working to make a prom possible that seemed hopeless. Just love book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC received from Netgalley and these are solely my options.

Brooke Sargent and her sisters are the owners of Chateau Jolie, a winery and struggling event venue. The local high school seniors have lost their money that was raised for the prom after another venue went bankrupt after their full payment. Brooke is approached by an old friend, Trevor Bradley who had a huge crush on Brooke in high school, to consider using Chateau Jolie for the student's event. He convinces Brooke to host the prom for the high school as he and Brooke are attracted to each other once again and begin a relationship. Sweet story with likable characters that are perfect for this engaging contemporary romance.

No One Like You by Heather McGovern will be available October 30, 2018 by Kensington Books. An egalley of this book was made available by the publisher in exchange for a honest review.

I'm going to give this book a solid 3 stars.... mostly because I had some issues getting into the story of Trevor and Brooke. The ending was sweet though.

Worth a try.
This is my first book by this author and it is the first book in this new series. Can be rad on its own.

It was ok. I thought Trevor was very very sweet. Brooke was rather too tense to like. i thought the theme centered around a prom was rather weird. Why was only one of her siblings really present in this story?
