3.5

This was a quick solid read. Jessa Bell proclaimed to be righting her wrongs, but her tactics and or antics were much to be desired. As another reviewer stated that, a difficult childhood can be the catalyst to a destructive adulthood. Some people just never learn. Jessa isn't a likable character, but she is a realistic one.

Mistress For Hire... Wow Jessa Bell came back with a vengeance, she tried to lead a reformed life after ruining just about everything she touched, she now had a successful business, her daughter, her mother and a man she loves and he loves her. Did she actually think all the dirt she had done would not come back and slam her hard.

I am guessing this is the last book in this series , I really hope not because there is a question that needs to be answered but I guess I will have to settle not knowing. Karma is something else, I enjoyed this book it keep me intrigued the whole time, it was full of drama, backstabbing and crazy people. I feel there is a lot of real life issues going on in this book.

This was an okay read but I have to admit I did not love it. It was the first book in the series I have read so maybe I would have connected with the characters more if I had read the previous books in the series. While I did not love it I didn't hate it either give it a go you may like it more than I did

Jessa Bell is backkkk! With this installment of the series, I fell in love with the Mistress books all over again. Once reformed from her treacherous ways of being a mistress to even her best friends' man, she is driven back to her old ways when she is on the painful receiving end of pain and deceit. The story line of generational habits and curses is played out with Jessa's relationship with her mother and daughter. When several lovers and frenemies from her past arrives on the scene, drama ensues. Great book!

All I can say is, this book had my mouth hanging open because of the antics of the main character, Jessa Bell. She lives up to the name Jezebel in so many ways.... One lesson is how the trauma a child faces can impact them for the rest of their lives. Innocence lost can have serious repercussions. Thank you Netgalley.

Jessa Bell is back. Jessa is on the redemption road from being a mistress. She wants to help others to not be a mistress. With the help of her team, she maybe on to something. With her road to redemption, there will be some bumps in the road. In Mistress for Hire, will we finally get to see how and why Jessa is the way that she is? Will she finally put the past behind her? Is this the end to Jessa Bell? You will have to read Mistress for Hire to get the answers to these questions and more.

Jessa is a strong woman who will let nothing get in her way! This story left me speechless.

Excellent storyline and marvelous character development.

This was my first book by Niobia and I am quite literally going to buy each and every one her books!

Highly recommend to bookworms who love Cydney Rax.

Wow!!! Another great installment in the Mistress series. All I can say is Jessa Bell, Jessa Bell, Jessa Bell!!!! Jessa tried to right her wrongs, but will she be allowed to? Rad the book and find out. Read this book in one day. Yes, it was just that good. The writing is flawless, draws you into the story from page one. The ending is ok, There is one question left unanswered. I don't want to give away the ending, but we are told that maybe we have heard the last from Ms. Bell. So, what about the unanswered question? And yes, you are going to want to know the answer. Maybe we will not hear anymore from Jessa, but there are more than enough characters that can pick up and continue or start a spin off series. Hammer, Georgia, Jessa's mom or even the stranger from the elevator....**wink**. Excellent read. Now this is the way to write a series. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book. Although I received the book in this manner, it did not affect my opinion of this book nor my review.

This is the first book I've read from this author and I was more than excited to read the book based on the blurb. I love a good drama & suspense filled read but I'm sorry to say that I did not enjoy this book. I could not connect with any of the characters, especially the main character Jessa Bell. The only character and parts I did enjoy were the parts with Jessa's daughter Delaney. There was no doubt that she loved her daughter and I did like that about her but I still couldn't connect with her character. It's hard to enjoy a book when you can't connect with the main character in some type of way. Some parts of this book dealt with sensitive matters; rape, suicide, etc. so just be cautious if you prefer to say away from those topics. I truly wished I had enjoyed this book but it just wasn't for me.
