I could see this book turned into a Hallmark Christmas movie. It had all the elements, romance, heartbreak, estranged father, and three down on their luck men trying to make life better for themselves and by doing that, improving their new hometown. There is a Christmas tree ranch, parade and a search for the new town Santa. It was good book and I like that the story even included a minor story about romance between two young adults with Down Syndrome. Janet Dailey does a good job of holding the reader's attention. The characters, except for the creepy town Constable were all easy to like.
