Very enjoyable Amish Christmas stories! The stories revolve around a circle letter between three maiden cousins. Each of the stories is the about one of the cousin's life during the Christmas season. Each have a special way of meeting their future husband. This book is perfect for the Christmas season. Highly recommended!

I whole hardheartedly enjoyed the first story with Marybeth. I found it heart warming and the perfect Christmas setting. The other 2 stores in the collection left a bit to be desired in my opinion. Particularly Katie's. It felt very rushed.

The Amish Christmas Letters is a great collection of three short stores set around Christmas. The three cousins are writing a circle letter between them, telling their own Christmas time adventures. I really loved how all three authors kept the stories true to their writings while encompassing them into one corresponding letter.
In Marybeth’s Circle Letter by Patricia Davids, Marybeth and her cousin have along standing bet that they can matchmake better. This leads to the end of year loser having to host their aunt. Marybeth is afraid that this year she will lose, and she hates nothing less than the thought of her aunt. She concocts a plan to offer nanny services to Josiah in return he will go on a date with the lady of her choice. Josiah doesn’t like the agreement, but he desperately needs help and he reluctantly agrees. This was a very sweet story about finding love in unexpected places.
In Love Delivered by Sarah Price, Katie Mae has been caring for her ill father and trying to keep the farm afloat. Her neighbor, Nathaniel Miller, has been struggling as well since the loss of his wife and the bishop thinks that he has the solution to both their problems. When Nathaniel and his children rent the main house and help with the farm, Katie Mae doesn’t know if she can stomach it, but God knows what we need even when we can not see it. This was a great story about healing.
In Sealed with a Kiss by Jennifer Beckstrand, cousin Carolyn has taken a job as a nanny on the recommendation of our favorite matchmakers, Anna and Felty Helmuth. While Carolyn is struggling to make sure the children are taken care of while their parents are overworked and stretched too thin, the children’s uncle Aaron shows up. Aaron, who seems like he might be textbook OCD, thinks he knows what is best. When the two pair up to take care of the children, maybe Anna and Felty are going to get what they planned. However, when disaster strikes, can they have a happy Christmas after all. This was possibly my favorite but simply because I love Anna and Felty and anything that they have their hands into.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from netgalley.com and Kensington Books in return for my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Three terrific authors join together to create a wonderful Christmas holiday set of novellas! Each one was tied to the next through a circle letter. This can be read any time of the year but it would be a great book to give as a holiday gift. I loved each story!

This sweet collection of stories by some popular authors was a lot of fun to read. I really enjoyed it! There were a lot of laugh out loud moments for me and also some sweet times that made you feel all happy inside. And for me, those are two qualities that make a good story, or in this case, stories!
The first story was Marybeth’s Circle Letter by Patricia Davids. In this story, Marybeth is afraid she is going to lose the annual matchmaking competition she has with her cousin and have to house her complaining aunt for two weeks. She offers to be a free nanny for a widower in exchange for him going on a date with someone she knows. Relunctantly, Josiah agrees, because he desperately needs the help. However, his daughter is shy and withdrawn since her mother’s death and Marybeth has her work cut out for her. Will she find true love for Josiah? Or for herself?
In Love Delivered by Sarah Price, Katie Mae has been taking care of her sick father since her mother passed and she has struggled to take care of the farm and everything it entails. When the bishop comes to her with the proposal of having Nathaniel Miller, a widower with four children, rent the house from her and help work the land. Katie Mae is strictly against the idea, but how can she refuse the bishop? Nathaniel isn’t too pleased with the idea himself, but as the two begin to work together to care for the home and his children, love might just make an appearance!
The last story is Sealed with a Kiss by a Jennifer Beckstrand. This one was my favorite, though I did enjoy all three. The author always has a way of bringing out the silly in her stories and making me laugh. This one was no exception! Carolyn accepts a job as a nanny to help a family trying to run their cookie shop and get all their Christmas orders in. Anna and Felty Helmuth, who are the elderly matchmakers in many of Beckstrand’s books, are at it again, trying to match Carolyn with their grandson Aaron. Two people could not be more different. Where Aaron is neat and orderly, Carolyn is spontaneous and a little bit messy. But while watching the children, who are Aaron’s nieces and nephews, they both come to find that there is more to life than they realized. However, will a misunderstanding come between them and ruin Christmas?
I really enjoyed these stories! I recommend them to anyone who enjoys lighthearted stories with a good message and a smile! I received a free copy of this story from NetGalley for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

What a fun book! Each of the stories follows one of the cousins and her adventures during the Christmas season. The authors' stories follow one another but are written in the personal writing styles of each author. Some characters are familiar, most are new. All are sweet and full of Christmas fun and romance. Fun Amish book full of romance and family and fun.

Three Amish women in danger of becoming old maids write circular letters among themselves. One live in Indiana, one in Ohio, and the third in Wisconsin.
Marybeth likes to play matchmakers and she has added incentive to make a match before Christmas. If she doesn’t, she’ll have to host cantankerous Aunt Ingrid. Marybeth just doesn’t anticipate falling for her victim.
Katie Mae isn’t doing well at taking care of her stroke-stricken father and running the farm by herself. Her bishop prompts her to rent the farm to that awful Nathaniel Miller. Turns out, he’s not so bad, and his little girl works miracles with Katie Mae’s dad.
Yes, Carolyn wanted adventure, but babysitting seven children who want their parents, not her, is too much. The children’s uncle has firm ideas about cleanliness and diet, and thinks Carolyn is a terrible babysitter. Carolyn ends up teaching him a few things about life.
These three novellas are sure to bring smiles to your day.

The Amish Christmas Letters is such a charming collection of holiday romances! I know I will be wanting to read this again as we get closer to the holidays. The exchange of circle letters between cousins Marybeth, Katie Ann and Carolyn tells of an affectionate friendship between the three as they keep in touch through writing. I have learned through all the Amish novels I love to read, just what prolific letter writers the Amish are, and find this a beautiful thing, as sadly letter writing has become in many places a lost art. The Amish rely on letters as they for the most part stay away from technology except where it helps in their business endeavors.
Marybeth's story describes how she is desperate to win an annual matchmaking "competition" to avoid having to host an extremely critical great aunt during the holidays. To do so, she serves as a temporary nanny for a widower and his little girl, while figuring out whom to match him up with. She doesn't anticipate the feelings of joy and belonging she will find in his home. In Katie Mae's story, Katie is a daughter devoted to caring for her widowed father who is disabled from a stroke. She has surrendered her hopes of courtship and marriage, and tries in vain to earn money to pay for rehabilitation for her father. The bishop of her community approaches her with a plan involving renting her father's farm land to a local widower and single father. While she and Nathaniel at first clash, she is slowly drawn to his children, and Nathanial is impressed and touched by her devotion to her father. Last but not least I am so touched by Carolyn's story of how she helps Anna Mae and Felty Helmuth's grandson with his children while he and his wife focus on their new candy shop to the exclusion of all else including their children. Carolyn and Aaron, a local cousin of the Felty's, at first clash miserably, but then recognize they can work as a team to help the children feel loved. Each of these stories is so captivating and beautifully told. It feels like the reader is sitting on a comfortable sofa enjoying a good cup of coffee with close friends while reading. I heartily recommend Amish Christmas Letters!

The Amish are known for their circle letters – letters written, then sent on to other friends or family members who live around the country.

Three cousins, writing their letters at Christmastime, share events occurring in their lives.

Each year, Marybeth Martin, runs a friendly competition with another cousin, to see who can make the most romantic “matchmaker” matches among their friends. Marybeth only needs one more before the end of the year to win, but has very few prospects. She finds a widower in the community who might work as her next match, but finds some surprising obstacles.

Cousin Katie Mae Kauffman discovers through special needs for both a widower with 4 children, and the needs of her father and her, that by working together, they may be able to be a great help to each other. They barely tolerate each other, only to find as time progresses that they may really like each other. Will love blossom and cause a combination of families to become one loving family? This seems like a highly impossible solution.

Carolyn Yutzy, with her heart of gold, is convinced to go help a couple in need of someone to help with their 7 children. They are a highly unruly brood who give her much grief. Their uncle Aaron, a devout perfectionist bachelor, makes it very clear that Carolyn knows nothing about babysitting, cleaning, or anything else. When he and Carolyn have to join forces to bring the unruly brood, whose parents are too busy working to give the children their time, to some kind of better behavior, there are many times of love/hate. Carolyn is fired as the babysitter and sent home. Aaron discovers maybe she wasn’t to blame for all that happened and wasn’t as bad as he thought. Will he discover that maybe he might have been wrong in his opinion – he who never admits he is wrong about anything?

This was a very delightful Christmas read. I highly recommend it to readers to see how each girl’s situation is solved.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Kensington through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

THE AMISH CHRISTMAS LETTERS
Patricia David’s. "Marybeth’s. Circle Letters ". Circle letters was a nice way of staying in touch, but also that they each got the same news, was so important. Marybeth feels it was a God given talent to be a matchmaker. A contest till Christmas Eve between her and Wilma who would win. Surprising of who the match turned out to be, delightful to read.
Sarah Price. "Love Delivered"
Bishop telling Katie she can’t continue caring for her invalid Dad. The land would take care of a family, that is now in despair. To Nathaniel with four children, and Katie and her Dad would be living in the grandparents house. Drastic measure for both, they can’t seem to say anything to one another without it seeming like insults. What was the Bishop thinking, a terrible. arrangement, and with the children, in a new place.
Jennifer Beckstrand. Sealed With A Kiss
Carolyn offered to stay for six months, what was she thinking of. Those nine year old twin boys were a natural disaster. Uncle Aaron, comes in, and saying she doesn’t know how to babysit. Was Anna thinking something else when she suggest that she go and help Abraham and Mary’s kids. Natural disaster, were funny, but the clean up wasn’t. A delightful, heartwarming set of three stories readers will want to read.
Given ARC. by Net Galley and Kensington for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
