Read a #SneakPeekWildcard #NetGalley on this one and am looking forward to it even more than before! Looks like Emika's chances for survival lie with Zero and his crew of "bad guys". Who will win in the battle for free will??

Picking up right where the story left off and the action and adventure is just as thrilling.
A big thank you to the publisher for a sneak peek. I can't wait to read the rest of this!

I’ve been super pumped for Wildcard ever since I finished Warcross when it was released last year. This Sneak Peek was the perfect dip back into the high tech world of the Warcross games and has me even more excited for the release date on September 18!

This excerpt just gives enough to tease. I'm more excited to read the whole book now come release day.

Great sneak peek, so looking forward to this book! In the light of rigged political campaigns, social media control over private data and governments compromising privacy rights in the name of security, we all have to ask ourselves how much of our freedom we are willing to give up to be online 24/7, and who we entrust with our safety. I already enjoyed Warcross and I can't wait to read the full sequel. Looks action-packed, thrilling and carried by a strong MC.

I need this book out now! The first few chapters set up what promises to be a great second act of this book. It picks up right where we left the last one and no one has gotten over any of the issues they had.

They even do a good job reminding you of what happened in the last book so you don't have to be confused. September 18th!!

Thanks for sharing this Sneak Peek! Those 3 chapters were enough to get me really excited to read the full book. My two sons (12 &10) and I read Warcross together and they keep asking when Wildcard will be out.

The sneak peek of Wildcard continues the intriguing, fast placed world Lu created in Warcross. Can't wait to see the rest of the text!

I knew there was a reason sneak peaks are the devil. Now I REALLY want to read Wildcard after this little teaser. Can’t wait to see what happens in it!

Once again, Marie Lu's vivid language paints a technicolor world of immersive gameplay and conflict led by a protagonist the reader cannot help but root for. Lu writes Emika Chen as relatable, truth-seeking, and most importantly, struggling to grasp the odds reality has stacked against her and the Phoenix Riders in this breathtaking sequel to Warcross. I am astounded by how much punch is packed into an excerpt of the full novel, and cannot wait for this instalment to be released as I've followed Lu's work since the publication of her debut book, Legend!

I was really excited to get my hands on a copy of this sneak peek of Wildcard and it did not disappoint. I loved Warcross: the characters, the story, the entire world that Marie Lu created. So obviously I couldn't wait to see what happens next with Emika, Hideo, Zero and the Phoenix Riders. The sneak peek got off to a quick start, reminding readers of where we left off and what's to come. We find out that there is to be a rematch between the Phoenix Riders and Team Andromeda before the closing ceremonies, in addition to ten all-star players being announced. On top of all that, there's a bounty out on Emika's head and she ha to dodge assassination attempts. Can she and her allies find a solution before the NeuroLink spreads to everyone in just 7 days? I can't wait to find out.

I am not a gamer and LOVED Warcross as it’s about more than gaming…. I listened to the audiobook earlier this year and have been looking forward to Wildcard since I finished Warcross. And let me just say the covers of both novels; I LOVE THEM!

When I saw there sneak peak of Wildcard was available as a Read Now on NetGalley I quickly hit that button! It is just the first three chapters but wow! It really whets your appetite for more! I can not wait for the book to be out and see how this duology ends!!!

I normally don't read sneak peeks but I am so looking forward to this one that I just couldn't help myself!
I am thrilled that Wildcard seems to pick up right where Warcross left off and am loving the character, Jax. Although this was only the first 3 chapters, I can already tell that my high expectations for this sequel will be met! Come on September!!!

Thanks to NetGalley and Penguin Group for providing this great little tease.

What a perfect taste of the sequel. Just enough to mean the wait is going to be that little bit harder.
Ideal for those who have read Ready Player One or Otherworld.

I am absolutely beyond excited for tis book to come out! From this sneak peek, I can tell that it is going to be epic. I really want to see how it all comes together. I was a big fan of Warcross, and I'm hoping that this second book lives up to my expectations, and I have no doubt it will.

This was not a full book, so obviously we received very little information. However I did love the tidbits that were there, and it has gotten me even more excited for the full book. Seeing how Emika is still thinking about Hideo, and the way that she is going about her plans with Zero was really interesting to see, and I can't wait to find out how this all works out!

I am also very excited for the Warcross rematch which was announced, It makes a lot of sense, and I cannot wait for what I'm sure is going to be an epic sequence of events.

From this short preview, I have very high expectations for this book and I'm sure I won't be let down!

I'm so glad I read this sneak peek! It was a wild ride right from the start, taking up the story where Warcross left off. I can't wait to find out what happens to Emika. What does Zero want with her? I was literally on the edge of my seat while reading the beginning of Wildcard and I can't wait to read more!

I am so excited for this sequel to be coming out soon!! This sample gives you 3 chapters to refresh your memory an learn what the WarCross players who still have full cognition are going to do to save the rest of society. The story starts 3 days after Hideo's algorithm changed the world and people unknowingly lost a lot of their free will. The WarCross games are still going on. There are eight days left before the games are officially over. Is that how long Emika Chen, her previous teammates and her friends have to save society? I cannot wait to get my hands on this book! Fortunately, it is less than two months away.
