I have zero artistic ability, but even I can follow the steps in this book to make something that looks like it is supposed to look. I feel so accomplished! Kudos to the author for creating simple step-by-step directions that are perfectly illustrated for those of us who need that level of guidance. I am hoping a sequel will follow on how to paint those flowers to look like the cover!

In addition to the excellent variety of flowers that are taught in this book, there's also instructions on how to draw several varieties of bouquets and a handful of succulents. The instructions are easy to follow, and offers color suggestions for coloring in the flowers after drawn.

In addition to being an expert now in sketching animals, I’ve become a whiz at doing flowers, thanks to the fun and exquisitely illustrated TEN-STEP DRAWING: FLOWERS. Learned to draw 75 different flowers ... from a rose to an Oklahoma redbud and even a festive bouquet of gerberas! Highly recommended for wannabe artists like me and more seasoned sketchers wishing to improve technique. 5/5

Step by step guide to drawing flowers and leaves, for younger artists. A wide variety of flowers are included, as individual blossoms as well as in bouquets. These books were helpful for very young artists who are learning to draw, and can be used to expand their skills with flower drawing.

I have to say i'm more than a little in love with this book !
Fabulous doesn't do it justice.
The 10 step are just enough to explain and follow easy without loosing interest or focus and making it feel to difficult.
This in not just flowers , its so much more, it covers blooms, blossoms, botanicals and displays.
The colour guide with each flower is perfect and really makes a difference.

This book is essential for anyone who wants to improve their drawing skills , gain drawing skills or has no drawing skills and wants to produce brilliant flower drawings!
Regardless of skills or experience anyone can follow this book and be left with a brilliant result at the end.
