If you think that kids should take example from people who participated in crusades and missionary work, you might enjoy this book.
I do not recommend buying/reading this book.
*Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a sample of this book in exchange for my honest review.*

A great sample that made me excited to read the real thing! I have used the full text in many classes during women's history month or to highlight the impact that women have had on our society and world. Highly recommend to empower young girls and help students (especially girls) that with the right mindset, they can do anything.

I´m always trying to find great books for my lovely girl, she really likes to read. I enjoy when we have this kind of book so we can read together. I´m thankful for 100 stories for courageous girls the stories are very encouraging. Women are amazing I love biographies, a story always gives you what to talk about, questions pop-up, and bonding is great. If your time is limited and you want to inspire your girl with beautiful testimonies this book may be the right fit for you. I like this series much more than the others that are around rebel girls. You will find bible characters and more actual ones. I must add this book would be a great gift for a girl.

This is a great book for young girls. The stories of courage and overcoming obstacles in life are amazing. Such powerful role models for girls of any age.

I have always been in favor of giving a reference point to children about the core values of life.
Assuming that religion (and Christianity in this case) is such a reference, then this book meets all the prerequisites.
Although the stories of women that are presented are mainly related to their faith, it is a fairly good reading full with potential role models. Strong women, who manage a lot based on their faith. Their biographies are quite brief and comprehensive, which helps the younger kids. Beautiful Illustrations . In short, a good book that gives inspiration to young but also to older girls.

This book is well written and beautifully illustrated, the women all follow a religious theme with associated biblical quotes. Something different.

This 100 story collection, written to girls ages 8 and up, covers some of the more unforgettable women of the faith. Taken from the Bible and Christian history, these women will inspire girls with their tales of courage, action, and extraordinary faith. Including such women as Lydia, Corrie Ten Boom, Bethany Hamilton, and Rahab, each story expands upon the idea of how a grain of faith moves mountains.
Each section includes a picture, Scripture to go with the story, and biographical information. I only read a sample of the book, but greatly enjoyed what I read. The author is honest about the death of some of these women so be aware with a younger audience. And for that reason, this would be a book that I would read WITH my daughter, not just pass off to her. I also found it interesting that in the kindle version, there was picture portraying one of the African American women as white. This just didn't sit well with me and I wonder how many other illustrations were inaccurate. I do, however, think this would be an interesting book to add to your homeschool or home as your study champions of the faith, and how little it takes so like to make a huge impact.

I absolutely love this book! Quick and captivating stories on so many amazing women. I can’t wait to buy this book for every young girl I know!

This book is a Christian spin on Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls: the format and illustration style are essentially the same. Whilst it might lack some originality I think it's cleaver to have adopted a popular and familiar format to introduce a new type of character. My daughters LOVED Goodnight Stories so I'm thrilled to be able to use a similar book to introduce them to women of faith who impacted the world. This book is brilliant for teaching girls that they can make a difference, and that their faith is an asset, something that makes them stronger and something to fight for.

So thrilled to read the SAMPLE 100 Extraordinary Stories for Courageous Girls: Unforgettable Tales of Women of Faith! Loved the colorful illustrations and the informative text ... and the idea of featuring woman role models of faith. Can’t wait to read the full book! 5/5
