Really good overview of pregnancy period for dads: explains a lot of procedures and gives insightful information how to prepare.

I read this book before the birth of my third child, and I found it to be very helpful, even though I had been through the process twice before. I would certainly recommend this book to all parents, especially new parents!

An interesting and fun peak into modern fatherhood.
The authors are clearly experienced in both personal and professional contexts, and provide an extremely helpful insight into what fathers can expect from their new role!
I'll be getting a copy of this for my friends who are expecting their first baby next month, because while it's aimed at dads, I have no doubt that mums would also enjoy this lighthearted but informative look into parenting.

It's refreshing to read this for three reasons. One, in the giant ocean of pregnancy and new mom books, very few are written for new dads. Two, fatherhood books tend to be written by men whose only qualification is that they themselves have children--they don't have a medical background and they certainly aren't written by a trained doula. Three, the books that are written for new dads tend to be full of sports puns and jokes at the mother's expense. This book waves goodbye at those dated tropes and writes a comprehensive, caring, and thoughtful book about pregnancy and early parenthood for the new dad.

This book was a great read! While my husband and I already have a few beautiful children, we aren't done yet and read this one for fun together.

It was a very fun and engaging read. At the same time, it was extremely informative and would be immensely helpful for perspective dads. I have had my husband read multiple books like this before we had our first and even before our others, but he said this was one of his favorites!!
