Thank you to Netgalley and Dutton for an ARC of this title to preview before the publication date of January 22, 2019. Rebecca and Paul’s marriage is spiraling due to her opioid addiction and his infidelity. When Paul breaks it off, his mistress stalks Paul and Rebecca with evermore aggression and terrifying ways.
Not only is this story told from Paul and Rebecca’s viewpoint, but also from two detectives working on a relevant case. Those detectives were the most likeable of the entire lot. The rest of the cast didn’t display any redeeming qualities, which made it hard for me to read. There were also a couple slips in credibility. Both those flaws caused me to give the book four stars.

Still, I would read another thriller by this author. He or she has a little work to do to make his or her plots more believable.

A rather dark look into a world of love, lust, money and drugs. An interesting read that may captivate many. Yet, a bit wordy. Strong character development and a solid plot - if nota bit verbose at times. The story heats up just when the reader may think it's about to end!

Many thanks to Penguin Dutton and NetGalley for an entertaining read.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I did enjoy it for the most part and enjoyed the twists and turns of this thriller. I did find it to be a little slow at times, hence my mixed feelings.

If a picture is worth a thousand words then this cover says a ton. I love it! The Woman Inside by E.G. Scott was a great story that kept me turning the pages quickly. Things that I didn’t expect plus an unreliable narrator and spouses who don’t trust each other, its all a recipe for a book that you won’t want to put down.

Check it out:

Rebecca didn’t know love was possible until she met Paul, a successful, charismatic, married man with a past as dark as her own. Their pain drew them together with an irresistible magnetism; they sensed that they were each other’s ideal (and perhaps only) match.

But twenty years later, Paul and Rebecca are drowning as the damage and secrets that ignited their love begin to consume their marriage. Paul is cheating on Rebecca, and his affair gets messy fast. His mistress is stalking them with growing audacity when Rebecca discovers Paul’s elaborate plan to build a new life without her. And though Rebecca is spiraling into an opiate addiction, it doesn’t stop her from coming up with a devious plot of her own, and this one could end absolutely everything.

What follows is an unpredictable and stylish game of cat and mouse—a shocking tale of unfaithfulness and unreliability that will keep you racing until the final twist and make you wonder how well you really know your spouse.

Rebecca takes so many pills throughout the course of the book, I don’t know how she functioned! I do love a character who has issues and is utterly imperfect … like real life.

I’m sure this will be a hugely popular book when it hits the shelves in January 2019.

Holy s*#*t did this book keep me guessing! If you're looking for a book that grabs you and makes you question if you really know what is going on, this is the one for you! The Woman Inside by E.G. Scott, the prologue draws you in for the ride of your life, the story as it is told by Rebecca and Paul snag your interest as Rebecca spirals down into pill overload growing more paranoid and questioning of her sanity while Paul is busy trying to get the gift of a lifetime done in time and Sheila.....Paul's little affair with her might bring the whole thing crumbling down.... Thank you Netgalley and Penguin Random House for allowing me to read this ARC book and give my honest opinion.

The woman inside by author E.G Scott is an intense domestic thriller told from a wife and husbands point of view, with a couple of other POVs that really make the book. Characters are well developed and the plot is solid. I was completely sucked into this book from the start and it kept me there, head full of thoughts about everything going on in the book (so easy to follow though)! You question the characters and their motives just to be proven so wrong. Ends with a BANG for sure. One of the best books I’ve read lately, a true psychological thriller! I can’t recommend The Woman’s Inside enough!

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an arc copy of The Woman Inside in exchange for an honest review.

Holy cow!! What an intense, strange, and crazy ride this book is. Definitely will not be able to realize what is real and not, so definitely not going to figure this one out until the author wants you to. Absolutely chilling, thrilling, and taunt! Will be highly recommending and yearning for more by this author.
Will be using in my daily challenges, reviewing, and overall buzzing up this book in Chapter Chatter Pub.

What happens when two damaged people are brought together because of their pain and dysfunction? In this case they marry, and their darkness threatens to swallow them and everyone they draw into their orbit. You probably won't like the main characters in this book, but they provide one hell of a ride
