Very easy to use for early stimulation.

For babies and toddlers, this book is designed to be explored in a physical edition, since the description mentions that it is part of "Touch and Feel" series, which is intended for learning through interaction.

I have had access to the digital version and I can not give my opinion on the quality of the textures, or any physical characteristic about this "simple sensory baby book". What I can say is that these types of activities are useful for the development of emotional intelligences in children. I think that this type of interactive books are great for children with kinesthetic predominance who love to touch everything around them. And to complement the development of the other sensory channels, the book is already visually appealing, and on the other hand the parent or tutor can interact by verbalizing the numbers out loud and inviting the child to pronounce them. In this way we stimulate the development of several sensory channels through which children acquire and process new knowledge.

My appreciation to the Publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to review the book

Thank you Netgalley for "Poof 123: Touch and Learn Numbers" by Arielle Berg

So this book takes place in outer space which is great for kids into outer space. The Numbers have fought and there is chaos. They have split apart. ----> this alone made me laugh very funny.

Kids help Aiden get the numbers to get along once more by drawing their finger from one number to the next number

Funny book and humor is always a great addition in teaching kids or anyone anything.

Is this my favorite book for numbers? I don't know. I'm torn between this and learn to count with curious george.

Will use this and can see it being a staple.

Thanks NETGALLEY for this title! Decided to write a review as I enjoyed this book.

TITLE: Proof 123: Touch and Learn Numbers by Arielle Berg
ILLUSTRATOR: Isabel Casal
PUBLISHER: Heartlab Press
ISBN: 9780995044135

What I liked about this counting book the most was that it has a strong interactive element. The numbers have split apart and kids are asked to help Aiden the Astronaut join them back together in a numbers learning to count book set in space.

Found this went great after reading Chica Chica 123. Chica Chica 123 is fun to read out loud as a parent can really get into it and this book is also both fun for the parent and the child.

In terms of learning, I find tactile books very good to teach kids new concepts.

This is one of my favorite books up there with chica chica 123 and chica chica boom boom for kids.

Proof 123: Touch and Learn Numbers by Arielle Berg

Thanks to NetGalley and publisher Heartlab Press for the ebook ARC written by Arielle Berg and illustrated by Isabel Casal in exchange for an honest review.

This book is recommended for ages 2 and up. Introduce your child to first concepts of numbers. Through touch and simple words, toddlers can enjoy their first counting book with ease.

I give this book a rating of 2 stars. I read this book to my 4 year old daughter who enjoyed the pictures of the numbers.
At the beginning of the book I wasn’t very impressed with it. Its all written in capital letters and the vocabulary isn’t for a 2 year old. I don’t really recommend this book. Cute illustrations though.

Makes learning numbers engaging for kids who are interested in science/outer space. Short book for kids who are just learning very basic numbers.

I don't get this book. It should be a simple counting book, but is more convoluted. The numbers are on a space flight but they are fighting. There is a simple rhyme to put numbers in pairs, and then “poof” the next illustration shows them getting along. Plus the poof is always a beaker, like some science experiment was done. I want to like this but it needs more or better thought out.

This book is a super fun and cute interactive book perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. My 4 year old son has a recent obsession with the word poof so he absolutely loved this book!
This book is full of rhymes and colorful pictures-- a fun way to learn numbers. IA great book for growing little minds!
I would definitely recommend the paper version over the digital version as it it meant to be an interactive book, tracing a line between the numbers.
*I received a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review

Poof 123: Touch & Learn Numbers
By Arielle Berg
I liked the idea of interacting with the pages. Each page had a pair of numbers who were misbehaving. Using your finger you are connecting the numbers to a magic potion to bring them back together. It was a simple book with a simple concept. One thing I would have added would be having all the numbers joined together so you can count as a number line.

Fun and interactive way to teach numbers to kids. Bright and colourful illustrations.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher the eARC

The kid astronaut faces a crisis when the numbers he’s working with don’t like each other any more. Through rhyme and chemistry, he gets them back together.
This is for really small kids, as in those just barely learning numbers and reading. It’s as simplistic as possible, but I guess that’s a good thing. There is a risk of slightly older kids rejecting it, with cries of “I’m not a baby!”

What a wonderful book to teach children numbers. The book goes on a spaceship quest while rhyming to gather all the numbers together. The book is colorful and memerable for children 2-4 to learn their numbers. The book is short enough to hold attention of children.
I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Short book of counting 1 - 10. The way it is written as a touch and learn is clever. It instructs a child to use their finger to draw a line to join the numbers in order by pairs, then touch a lab beaker. Poof! The next page they are joined. It is cute and in a hard copy a great sensory experience for young children to help learn their numbers. I personally did not find the 7-8 rhyme appealing. Also, unfortunately for me, my experience is with a kindle copy and so the "touch and learn" experience didn't work for us. I also wish the font size for the type was a bit bigger. I found the small type difficult to read myself, and it's not the best choice for a beginner reader.

This is a good choice of book for toddlers through kindergartners.

*This is a NetGalley review. It is my own honest opinion and is unsolicited.

This was a cute concept book that could be used to introduce and reinforce numbers 1-10. I think that the space theme for next year is heavy on my mind and if you are looking to expand space theme topics for all ages, this book works as a toddlers introduction to numbers. Rhyming text does not introduce space, but beautiful illustrations set the stage.

This picture book is for young children who are learning to recognize their numbers. With a simple rhyming text, toddlers are invited to move the squabbling 1 through 9. The background for the illustrations is outer space. This book is an easy way to reinforce number learning with young children.

This is an excellent learning numbers book!

The great points:
science (yes!)
fun (yes)
funny (yes)
unique (yes) - although other numbers books might rely on things like fuzzy, touch, etc, this book uses touch in a way that is very interactive to the story, reminds me of those choose your own ending books. The kid makes a choice and the next page is that choice combined in a surprising way.

Overall, recommend!

Very good numbers book and think kids will get a lot out of this title.

Haven't read a lot of numbers books but this one is funny and because of that I give it a high rating. A good numbers book with a very good message in that people should try to get along and put aside differences for a greater goal.

Received this book as an ARC and it is a very good learning numbers book for. It's quick and to the point, an easy read for kids and adults and fun too.

One of the things I liked about it was it's simplicity and I enjoyed the combination of the characters for 1 and 2, how it was active and the numbers were real characters in an argument.

I liked the fact that it wasn't just an ordinary numbers book but one that teachers kids to get along (and adults too).

From the cover I can tell that this book is brightly colored and this will appeal to young readers. I found the content to be lacking. I do think the book may be hard to appreciate as an ebook since it's labeled touch and learn.

Fun, interactive counting and rhyming book. Toddlers will get a kick out of the "poof" on every-other page.

Fun 123 book for kids. Follows Aiden the Astronaut on a journey where the numbers have fought and split apart and kids are asked to help Aiden join the numbers back together by drawing their finger from one number to the next.

This is a book that gets a lot of giggles and really helps kids remember the letters in a very visual and interactive way.

One of the best learning numbers books I've used.
