I thoroughly enjoyed this erotic romance which opened my eyes to kink a bit more, it's not something I'm into, but I'm always open to learning about others. Jason and Simone were a great couple and I enjoyed the way Simone helped Jason learn and open up to what he wanted and needed from a sexual partner and how she helped him to realise it wasn't bad to have those desires so long as he had a willing partner, it didn't hurt that the sex scenes were pretty hot. This is my first in this series and I'll be searching out the previous books.

Thanks to NetGalley and 8th Circle Press for a copy in return for an honest review.

Perfect story by Tiffany. We get sweat glimpse of Nora and Soren! Discovering what you like isn't bad as you were made to believe it was is the basic theme of the boo and I really loved how the Hero could find how to leave his predicament and go after his happiness. As always, Tiffany Reisz does not disappoint!

This was my first book by Tiffany Reisz but I’m certainly familiar with the Original Sinners books so I was looking forward to this book, especially with it’s captivating book blurb.

This story is about Jason, a 29 year old, famous and retired world champion bull rider who is from an extremely conservative family and living in Kentucky. And Simone, a pink haired, tattooed part-time photographer and part-time pro submissive from NYC.

They meet at a calendar shoot Jason agreed to be in to help a friend out and one thing leads to another, and Simone finds out that Jason is a dominant who has been fantasizing about dominating, spanking and ordering around a slave but he’s never been able to do anything about it cause he struggles with the fact that he’s been raised to treat women well and he was beaten by his conservative dad if he ever did anything disrespectful to women.

Simone decides to help him explore his dominant side in a safe way and they end up forming a relationship and quickly fall for eachother, all the while having some smoking hot, kinky sex.

Now although I do think this book can be read as a stand alone, I did feel like I missed some of the book feels by meeting Master S And mistress Nora who are from the other Original Sinners books. I probably would have enjoyed their cameos much more had I read them.

I must admit that although this book was interesting, I had a hard time connecting to the MC’s. Jason felt kinda stiff and just lacked the kind of passion I love in my books. And although Simone was a little more emotional, the whole thing between them kind of felt clinical. Their “love” happened so fast I barely blinked too and I just didn’t have enough time to really connect with the characters and that took away for me. They fell in love so damn quick yet Jason was a bit flat and very hesitant yet bossy and Simone, all proud of her sub job and having clients only, threw it out the window in a hot second and fell totally into Jason.
I did enjoy the book to a certain extent but I simply couldn’t connect with the characters and ultimately worked to get through it. I wish I had enjoyed it more than I did as I had high hopes but not everything that I come across is gonna be a winner for me.

I did enjoy Tiffany Reisz’s writing style and I’ll be giving another of her books a try :)

Tiffany Reisz never disappoints. If you’re a fan of her Original Sinners series (and even if you’re not) you will enjoy this book. Sweet cowboy with a stifled wild side meets free spirited pink haired sub who quickly becomes determined to help him acknowledge and accept his deepest desires.
Think of this as boy meets girl with a twist.

~ Getting to know the man behind the picture ~

This was a sweet awakening of suppressed erotic desires by a through-and-through cowboy at the hands of a big-city submissive girl, who begin a slow-burn romance as they feel their way together, discovering what works for them, despite the way Jason was brought up. Simone’s character stayed true to herself and remained very real throughout the story. Absolutely loved the appearances by the (very familiar to me) Master S and his submissive, who gave guidance, support, and love when needed. Another great story from this author!

Picture Perfect Cowboy was a good read, but I'd not call it 'perfect'.

Being a fan of Reisz' writing, I always know there will be some message delivered. However, this felt more preachy to me than even what I expected. I'm all for a subtle delivery of a good life lesson but I need it to be subtle enough to no outweigh the budding romance. Picture Perfect Cowboy failed a bit on that end, for me.

I felt too wrapped up in the family politics and the great kinky sex (they were great scenes) and had no real emotional connection to the romance or even the characters, all that much. I liked Simone, I thought Jason had great potential as a hero, but I needed more.

While the lust gave me great feels, it turned too quickly to love and without that aforementioned connection, I just didn't really believe it.

All that being said, I still adore Reisz' writing, the story is still utterly intriguing and I was never bored. I just wasn't thoroughly in love, either.

I absolute love Reisz and her writing style, anything Original Sinners is usually a must read for me!! But I found Picture Perfect Cowboy to be a bit too "instructional" and overly PC. I constantly felt that Simone was having to defend her position as a submissive and explain to us readers that she's still a strong female. I understand the story was about a newbie dom, Jason Waters, and his inner struggle to reconcile his need to dominate women with his strict family "you don’t raise a hand to a woman" upbringing. To me, it just came off a little too educational at times and a lot less hot. I will say that when they were finally IN a scene and Jason was doing his thing, that was good reading! I did like Simone's feisty character and personal style. Her guiding Jason along in his new pursuits was written sweetly and I did fall for him a bit. Oddly, for some reason, I even found Nora and Soren to be off character, not sounding how they have in other books??!! There is this bonus flogging scene at the end that I was really hopeful about, but even it fell flat for me. Well, you can’t win ‘em all and it's still better to be in Nora and Soren's world than not.

Who doesn't love Tiffany Reisz's Original Sinners series? I was very excited to immerse myself in the Original Sinners world again. Picture Perfect Cowboy was different than what I expected from this author and series.

Jason is a famous, award-winning, ex-bull-rider from a very conservative family. Being well-known has its drawbacks, and Jason knows all about trying to be the man your family expects. When Jason meets Simone, the big-city girl in small-town America, something just "clicks"...

I like these characters but wasn't fully invested in them, I just didn't connect. I liked seeing the dominant come out to play, I enjoyed reading about him finding his "rhythm". The instructional component of his learning was a bit of a bore, the lack of confidence was just so different than the other dominant types in Tiffany Reisz's books. Simone was the star in this story: she's a professional submissive but isn't a wallflower. She's basically the instructor, but it felt like they were both holding back.

I'm not sure if it's me or the story, but I just couldn't get into it.

This is part of the Original Sinners family of books, and as a huge Tiffany Reisz fan I was delighted to get a chance to read it – as anything Nora and Søren makes me happy!

This is a definite departure from previous stories, in that our two favourite characters really only appear briefly, even if Simone refers to them regularly as she instructs Jason in the ways of all things kinky. I rather liked that the submissive is the one not just with the power, but with the knowledge. Jason is very lucky that she is so masochistic that she feels she can trust him even as a newbie. The connection may be instant, but it is fun and light-hearted. It is not a hardcore BDSM story that is for sure.

I found myself somewhat confused by Jason's state of mind in regard of his father's puritanical upbringing. After all, he had been on the bull riding circuit for a long time, and clearly was a successful business man too, so to be so held back by the views and abuse he suffered at his father's hand? It was a weakness which belied his otherwise dominant desires.

Overall, this was a sweet story, with just a touch of Original Sinners to keep us fans interested!

First, I have to say that I love, love, love the Original Sinners stories and knew I wanted to devour this book just because Tiffany Reisz wrote it. But I found my mind wandering at times while reading. I did love Jason and Simone, but it wasn't up to the Original Sinners standards to me.

With that being said, let me tell you what I did love.

Jason is a retired bull rider who had to move to Kentucky to be his own man. Away from his strict, proper family. And the feelings he is having and things going through his mind make him feel guilty. When his friend gets hurt and can't do a calendar photo shoot, Jason does it for him. When she shows up at the library, he can't believe he is about to get naked and have his pictures taken. When he sees Simone, he can't believe how beautiful she is and what she talks about. He invites her back to his ranch for a lesson in kinky fun.

Simone is a professional photographer and a professional submissive, and someone who needs to show Jason just what he needs to let the demons he is fighting go. When she spends several days with him, they both are falling for each other quickly. And she is loving life in Kentucky living on Jason's ranch.

When Simone goes back home to New York, will the demons move back into Jason's mind? Can Simone make Jason see that life is perfect for them with a little kink and a whole lot of love? Will Jason let his family's opinion lose the one woman who is all he will ever need?

If you are a Tiffany Reisz fan, read this one but keep in mind it is more of a softer side of the Sinners than an Original Sinners book. It was good, but not great to me. So read it and I hope you enjoy it as I did, I just didn't love the whole story.

Picture Perfect Cowboy was a good read. Usually I don't really read much erotica, but throw in an erotica with some western romance and I'm in!

This story was my first Tiffany Reisz book, and won't be my last. What started out as two people who seem to be complete oppisites turns out to be a story of two people who have much more in common than they think.

This story was full of romance, sexiness, and some times funny parts.!

This is one of those books you want to sink your teeth into and then not let up. TIffany Reisz can take you to places you didn't realize you ever wanted to go, but you do. You definitely do. Especially when you can go to the world of Original Sinners.

Jason "Still" Waters will have you seeking your submissive side. Yes, that submissive side. The one you didn't know you had, yet are all of a sudden very willing to explore. And SImone? Well, she's just about perfect. And you're going to love them together.

Get your fan ready, you're going to need it for this wild ride!

I really enjoyed reading about Jason and Simone. They are two completely different people from completely different backgrounds. Jason is a championship bull rider from Montana who was raised very conservative and religious. He agrees to do a favor for a friend but is extremely nervous when the time comes to do it. He meets Simone when it’s time for the favor. She is an exciting, pink haired, spunky gal from New York who Jason takes to right away. She is very open minded and is smitten with Jason’s politeness and good looks. I love how they became involved with one another. They were hawt, hawt, hawt together, but also very sweet. I loved how Jason was able to finally open himself up and be the man he always wanted to be. And Simone was the perfect person to help him do that. This book touches on some BDSM themes and rules. It is a very entertaining story!

I really enjoyed Picture Perfect Cowboy, it had everything that a Tiffany Reisz book usually does – light hearted humour, true grit and characters to die for.

It had the usual top/bottom that I love from Tiffany with the neat twist that our top – Jason “Still” Waters – didn’t want to be a top because of some outdated family conditioning. It takes our bottom – Simone Levine – to bring our top out of his shell.

I didn’t much like Jason’s sister Aimee, she was very stodgy and vanilla and although she is, in a roundabout way, the reason that Jason went to Kentucky in the first place, without her he wouldn’t have taken his role as top so seriously. He needed Simone to make him see what he was inside.

I loved the dynamic between Jason and Simone, it was really strong and active. The dialogue between them was fantastic as well. The way that Simone brought Jason out of his shell as her master was quite hot.

The description of the events that happened between Jason and Simone in the bedroom were written really well, almost like I was in the room watching. Fantastic.

There was a small bonus chapter at the end called Flogging 101 and it was great to see Mistress Nora and Professor S again. I’m really glad to have been back in The Original Sinners world.

I can’t wait to see if there another instalment in the series.

I didn't know how to rate this. I'm used to insta-lust in romance as I write it myself. But, this is serious kink and I wasn't really sold on the chemistry between Jason and Simone. At times, it read like a BDSM instructional manual. There were a lot of information told rather than shown. Very competence porn-like.

I liked that there's consent in every act they did and the characters had some complexity and growth. I didn't like that Simone topped from the bottom and Jason was too weak to be a Master. I get that he's new at the lifestyle, but his characterization is not well developed enough for me to think he's going to grow into the role eventually.

There's also the fact that Mistress Nora and Mister S dominate every scene they're in, casting Jason and Simone in the shadow. I didn't like that.

The writing is good, though. It's an easy read.

I have chosen not to read and review this tile. While the blurb drew me to the story, I was not engaged with the characters or the way the story was written.

I appreciate the opportunity to review this early title and am looking forward to the next title through your company.

Thanks,
Laura

“Mistress Nora told me there’s different kinds of loneliness,” she said. “There’s the lonely where you’re lonely for someone else. But there’s also a kind of loneliness where you’re lonely for your real self. You think you’re missing someone in your life and it turns out it’s you.”

Picture Perfect Cowboy from Tiffany Reisz was surprisingly as swoon worthy sweet as it was hot and kinky. Whilst it featured the trademark Tiffany Reisz strong, feisty and sweet heroine it had a different feel to it as a whole. It felt like an awakening. A dom/sub discovery and coming to terms with who you are and learning to embrace it with the help of a sassy seasoned pro. The writing was as always stellar and had the cheeky sense of humour we love.

“I need to believe I’m a good man,” he said. “I don’t know if I can be that or do that and also be a good man.”

Ex pro bull-rider, Jason “Still” Waters steps in to do his best mate a favour. A quick ‘in and out’ naked modelling shoot for a charity calendar. Is there such a thing as a quick ‘in and out’ though? Not for Jason! Never did he think this would set off a journey of self-affirmation and love. That he would meet a spunky pink haired beauty who’d take everything he’d been indoctrinated in and flog it out his system…make that out of his system by flogging her. Jason was such a sweet and sexy cowboy. Can someone who has a heart of gold with an almost reserved well-mannered innocence really convince us that he is also a dominating authoritative figure of all things kink? Absolutely! He dominated with heart.

‘She almost asked him to give an order right then and there. She wanted him to order her not to fall in love with him. A simple order to give. Maybe an impossible one to follow.’

Simone is such a strong female lead, emphasising that being a natural sub does not make you meek, weak or apologetic. She has immense inner strength and lives a life safe in the knowledge of who she is and what she wants. She’s unique and quirky, just how we love our heroines. When she meets Jason an instantaneous attraction and super charged chemistry is evident and she has no doubt who Jason truly is. Helping him, by shedding layers of brainwashing by his parents, she leads him into a world of acceptance that kink is okay.

“You just get this idea in your head of who people want you to be and you can forget real easy that who they want you to be and who you are, well, they aren’t the same person. And you can’t be two people so I’m just going to be the man who loves you.”

Whilst we really enjoyed this sweet and sexy -quick read- romance, the icing on the luscious cake was when Nora and Soren came into Jason and Simone’s story. Be still the beating heart and racing pulse. This feeling never gets old and the craving for more time spent with them never diminishes. What a fabulously sexy and funny read from our beloved Tiffany Reisz.

“…the lies our parents tell us have barbs in them. They not only stick, but they tear when you pull them out.”

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I love everything that Tiffany Reisz has written. This was a novella involving a sweet submissive who meets a dom who is at odds with himself. He feels that what he likes is bad and wrong and should't be enjoyed.
The journey of exploration under her tenderness and submissiveness is such a sweet read.

I must say that is the first book I read about this author, after a little research I found out that this is the book #10 in a series, but you can understand perfectly it without having read the previous ones.
Leaving aside that, I confess that it caught me at the third paragraph and since then I couldn’t stop, it is a pleasant, agile, kinky, and fun reading.
The characters were intriguing, nothing too deep to be considered heavy, or so volatile to consider them plain. They have the right touch for a romance novel.
There were a couple of things that I didn’t like so much (to be honest) as the fact that he was a "shy cowboy" that part of him disconcert me a bit, since it doesn’t fit with his profile, but when everything started I stopped think about him as a cowboy, (he could be a banker and it would have the same effect) and that doesn’t bother me anymore.
Another thing that made me slow down a little was that he was always turned “on” in his “master" mode, which overshadowed a bit they romance, making that the attraction between them sometimes look like “I only want your body” instead of "instalove"

I always enjoy reading Tiffany Reisz. She has a group of characters that periodically pop up in most her stories. Her writing is concise as well as funny and true to life. Her style is never flat or boring. Once you read one of her books you always want to read the rest. After reading this small portion I wanted to know the rest of the story!

I guess I didn't understand when I first took this one as an ARC that it was a novella till after I read it. I was interested in the story, and it kept my attention all while reading it. My only issue with this story is that I was never fully invested in these two being together - like as a couple. They were fine with me when it was just them messing around, but when it became serious, I was never given enough to believe that they were meant to be. I need those feelings whether it's a full-length book or a novella. It's an essential item on my "checklist" while reading. Besides this, I love her writing and her stories, check them out!!
