In Naughty But Nice, the third re-release that is part of an overall mystery, we finally get to the bottom of all the long-buried secrets. Thomas Griffin Gallagher has a lilting brogue that I can clearly hear in my head – that’s how amazing this story is written. He comes to town to, let’s say to propose a redevelopment. And he means it in the most loving way. Of course, not all the townsfolk are as excited about all the changes as he is to present them and he gets to meet his foil in Melody Duncastle. She gives him a run for his money, and makes him “sing” for his morning coffee, but Thomas gives as good as he gets.

Can’t say too much as I don’t want to give any spoilers but again, a standalone book where we get to visit with characters from the other two books to catch up with them and that’s always fun. Thomas and Melody have to deal with their own pasts before they can be ready to work towards a future with each other. Their path is hard sometimes, but a wonderful story all around! And the ending made me giggle long past The End. I received a copy of this ebook from NetGalley.

was given this novella by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute romance story with just enough spice. Melody and Griff start off at odds over his plans for changing her hometown into a resort, but neither of them can turn away from the instant attraction they have for each other. The story was predictable, but sweet; just what you are looking for when you pick up a story like this one.

Apparently this story was originally published in a compilation of stories, and I would read all of them.

Naughty But Nice is the third book in author Donna Kauffman's Hamilton Christmas series. This story is set in the small town of Hamilton, Virginia. We first meet heroine Melody Duncastle catching a stranger behind the counter of her Cups and Cupcakes Bakery store helping himself to a cup of coffee while she is in the back room. The stranger turns out to be our hero, Griffin Gallagher, heir to Hamilton Industries.. He is in town to "revitalize" it. Melody wants no parts of this. She likes her town just the way it is, thank you. She takes Griffin's cup of coffee away from him and boots him out of her shop. Man, he really needed that infusion of caffeine.

I mentioned that Melody is the heroione in this story and Griffin the hero. Obviously Melody's animosity towards Griffin doesn't last. Can't beat that overwhelming chemistry.

As the relationship between Melody and Griffin progresses we learn why Griffin is in town to transform it. We also learn important background in Griffin's life that explains how he became the man he is. He really is a good guy. Melody reveals much of herself to Griffin too and together they become a strong loving couple.

A savvy businessman and a sassy baker are set to make this Christmas very interesting. Two very different people, with different goals for their futures, are not prepared for the undeniable attraction that could jeopardise everything they think they want.

An unlikely couple, but Griffin and Melody are enchanting. They are fun, serious and definitely well matched. I loved the storyline, the background and most of all the coming together of the entire previous cast. Light Christmas reading to conclude this series, and ever so enjoyable.

In this final offering in the Hamilton series by Donna Kauffman we meet Griffin and Melody. This is a more emotionally complicated story than the previous two in the trilogy. I enjoyed the involvement of characters from the previous books and how they impacted the outcome. This was way more steamy than sweet, therefore not my favorite, but all in all a nice ending to the story.

Griffin is a naughty and nice Irish American. He meets Melody, who owns a cupcake bakery, after returning to the U.S. to takeover Hamilton Industries. Griffin is the heir to his birth mother’s family fortune. Hamilton Industries plane to turn the town of Hamilton into a tourist attraction, but many citizens, including Melody, are unsure about the planned changes. So, despite their attraction, Griffin and Melody’s first few meetings are tense. Despite this difference of opinion, they quickly become a couple. Griffin told Melody that his time in Hamilton would be limited as he planned to return to Dublin. Melody tries not to fall in love with Griff, but does despite her best intentions. She is heartbroken when he tells her that urgent business matters require him to return to Du Lin sooner than expected. It seems that Melody is the only person in Hamilton who is surprised when Griff proposes. If you have after hour or so, this short story is a fun read.

short but great read.
Irish man Griffin is new in town, but he is here to change the small town that Melody loves so much. So it is inevitable that they clash at the town meeting.

This was a delightful story of two people looking for totally different things in life and finding each other. It was a nice wrap-up of the Hamilton trilogy, bringing them all together.
