I found the book very inspiring. It was a wonderful prayer guide and something all women should read.

Great way to get into building or growing in a prayer life. I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Some of the tips and prayers were useful.

This is a good guide to help you increase daily prayers. I was not expecting as much as when in the book and enjoyed the light readings and prompts that help to connect to God deeper and increase prayer life. This is a great guide to help with spiritual practice for those at any stage of their faith.

The 30-Day Prayer Challenge for Women was a really nice devotional. Each day had a devotion, scripture verse, questions for thought, and finally prayer starters for morning/noon/night. I found that very nice and recommend this for any woman looking for a nice devotion for prayer.

This is a great month long study of prayer and how important it is to our walk with the Lord. I highly recommend!

Challenges of all types can be found on the internet, but this one comes in book form. Nicole O'Dell provides us women with a 30 Day Prayer Challenge that aids in developing a habit of prayer. The chapters are interactive as they encourage you to read Scriptures, meditate on what you've read and then provides prayers for morning, noon, and evening.
Although this book is geared for those who have less experience in daily prayer, those seasoned in prayer can still benefit. With Scripture reading, devotionals, and reflective questions the 30 Day Prayer Challenge challenges us to be focused on the Lord throughout the day. It gives examples for for morning, afternoon and evening prayers.

The 30-Day Prayer Challenge for Women is a wonderful devotional. Each devotional is titled by topic. Each contains a verse, devotional, questions, and prayer prompts. I always love devotionals with titles by topic so you can easily skip to what you may need for the day.
The questions for each devotional are organized into a section called "what's up?" I really like these questions because they can easily be used as journal prompts. I always suggest taking notes on your devotionals, but these questions help you go beyond the usual note taking. The questions themselves are very well-written. They are wonderful reflective questions that really help you take a good look at your own life and better apply what you learned in the devotional.
I also enjoyed the prayer prompts. I tend to ignore given prayers in devotionals because I believe prayer should be personal. While the book does give short examples to each prompt, it allows you to stay on topic and still have a very personal prayer time. I also want to note there are three prayer prompts per day (morning, afternoon, and evening). I find that it may be helpful to set alarms as reminders for prayer time, otherwise I miss the afternoon prayer and have to add it to my evening.
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. It's a wonderful devotional that helps you grow through prayer.
I received this book for free from netgalley in exchange for this honest review.

I thought this was a neat 30- day prayer Challenge. It helped with ideas and to guide you with prayer. I would recommend this book.

This is undated which I love, it has day 1, 2 etc but you can begin anytime. Middle of the month, skip days then come back. I love devotionals that are not dated 1st to 30th then I don’t feel guilty when life happens and life happened.
Each chapter/day begins with a scripture verse, then a devotion, followed by reflection questions in the “what’s up” section and finally the prayer prompts.
The prayer prompts are broken into morning, afternoon and evening so that you are coming back to prayer throughout the day on a particular topic. Love that. The prayer prompts have both a guide as well as an example. This is great because it caters to both the beginner and those who feel more confident to pray their own words.
I don’t like that the scripture translation changes throughout the book but there are some who may like this.

I received an eBook copy from NetGalley for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
This book is a good devotional that can be used by any woman. It has a prayer, scripture verse, and question for reflection. There were a few days that I accidentally skipped and rather than try to complete them all the next day I continued from where I left off so it took me a little longer than 30 days to complete. I'm glad I was able to use this prayer challenge!

Nicole O'Dell's 30-Day Prayer Challenge for Women takes its reader through 30 short, yet concise, selections aimed at the heart of women's daily struggles. From gossip to a patience, each selection includes a Scripture reference, short devotional, questions for reflection, and three prayers to pray throughout the day: morning, afternoon, and evening. O'Dell's writing is honest and relatable while still hitting at the heart of the issue. I would recommend this book for any women looking for a beginning devotional or looking to re-establish a quiet time habit.

I am reviewing a copy of The 30 Day Prayer Challenge For Women through Barbour Publishing and Netgalley:
In this book we are encouraged not to gossip, encouraged to hold our tongue. We are encouraged to join God. We are encouraged to be quick to listen.
We are encouraged to set aside quiet time with the Lord. We are reminded to that He sees us.
If you are a woman looking for a good devotional The Third Day Prayer Challenge is one I would definitely recommend.
Five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!

This devotional by Nicole O’Dell dedicated to women, provides 30 days of prayer, scripture, and follow-up questions to reflect on. It gives you daily prayers for morning, noon, and evening to sustain you throughout the day. This is a wonderful book to jumpstart your daily prayer habit and made me learn to stop 3 times a day to reflect on God’s word.

This was a good devotional. The author covers a lot of important topics that face women. Each day the author shares a scripture passage, along with thoughts and personal stories relating back to the passage.
What I really liked about the devotional is she gives the readers action items through questions or actions for the reader. Finally, each day ends with prayer prompts for morning, afternoon, and evening prayer times. Including examples of what one can pray.
The devotions are geared toward adult women that are married.

This book literally has 30 days of prayers. I found the book to be very easy/quick to read each morning.
it includes a daily bible verse, a few paragraphs about the bible verse, questions for you, and prayer prompts. I did forget to look at it completely a few days... I decided to just do that prayer the next day instead of squeezing in 2 in one day.

This was a great read, especially for right before Advent. It seemed like every day, the text pertained to exactly what I was feeling or struggling with. I really liked how every day had three prayers, and not only that, but examples.
The situations were realistic and relatable. The writing was engaging and easy to read. This is perfect for women who want a little bit of prayer during the day, but in an easy format. I loved this!

Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Publishing, Inc. for the read of Nicole O’Dell’s, The 30-Day Prayer Challenge for Women.
I could have read this book in one sitting. Instead, I chose to delight in the inspiration from every one of the 30 days. I looked forward to waking up and reading the daily bible verse, the journaling that resonated with me – because they did, and the prompts and prayers were lovely. I found myself returning to certain ones throughout the day.
I highly recommend this beautiful book of daily prayer and contemplation. It will surely give you reason to stop for a few moments and fill up on the many graces from our Lord.

4 stars!
A great resource to help in starting a useful habit.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

I love the subjects from each day, but in some points was not quite motivated to pray about that subject. Not even the questions could make me feel the importance of the subject. For a book on motavating woman to pray, it could be better.

Prayer journals are always risky, because you never know ahead of time whether it is one that will speak to your soul or not. But I ended up really appreciating this 30-Day Prayer Challenge. Each daily reading included a scripture, a devotion, questions for introspection and prayers for morning, noon and night. The readings were very specific, which I enjoyed (often they tend to be very generic), but of course that also meant that some were more relevant or applicable than others - no matter, those days I just read two! :-)
I'd definitely recommend it for women who'd like to give their prayer life a bit of a boost, or who are just on the lookout for a new prayer journal or devotional. At 30 days it's a very manageable commitment.
