The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker is witty and funny with a tasteful steam level! From the very first line I was drawn into the story... "I've got money riding on this, so you better make it good,". This is a read you won't want to miss. This was the first book by Carrie Nichols that I read, I enjoyed this book so much I purchased The Marine's Secret Daughter and couldn't put that one down either! You won't be disappointed!
I voluntarily read and reviewed and advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A sweet, quick read!

I liked the heroine, Sasha, a lot. Especially when she spent time with Remy's daughter Evie. She was so patient and sweet with Evie, even with the little girl's matchmaking attempts.

Sasha and Remy are fun together and bring a lot of humor to their time together. They each have their own issues to work through, but I appreciated that the book didn't feel too heavy.

The small town setting has the requisite gossipy locals, charming folk, and fun local establishments. I am looking forward to seeing more of the citizens of Rose Creek in future books.

The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker is a touching, sweet and feel-good romance about a widowed school teacher and her precocious 7-year-old student playing at being matchmaker for her dad.

Sasha is a policeman’s widow has vowed never to get involved with a man in law enforcement again, but little does she know when she kisses a random man on a bet, that the sexy hunk is a cop. Remy is single Dad and sheriff of his local town, and the woman who planted a good one on him one night in a bar, turns out to be his daughter’s new teacher. Can a woman recovering from life changing devastation and a man used to being on his own, let down their guard and realise that love has its own agenda and life is full of twists and turns and unpredictability.

This is my first book by Carrie Nichols, and I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and characters and would recommend it to lovers of second chance romance.

Great read. Sasha is a teacher, and the Sheriff's daughter is in her class and tries to matchmake - little does she know that Remy and Sasha have met before!

This is a sweet, feel good romance that made me smile. I loved Sasha, the police widow who struggles to get her life back after becoming a police widow. years before. Her small town kept her trapped and "untouchable" as a widow, so she moved across the country to start over in a different small town. She has sworn off getting involved with police officers, but one of her students engineers a meeting with Remy, the local sheriff and all around good guy loved by the community.

Sparks flew between Remy and Sasha and I loved the struggle that each felt both individually and together. If you are looking for an engaging and fun tale, you have found it in this book. It's refreshing to read such a delightful story that is absent any swearing or sex (just one suggestion of it). This grandma loved this novel, but you could also let your teen read it without worrying about the content.

This is the first book I've read by this author, but I'm looking forward to reading more by her.

If you are looking for a sweet, touching romance , with a 7 year old matchmaker , this one is the one for you.
School teacher Sasha Honeycutt has been a policeman’s widow for 5 years, and the town she lived in New York didn’t let her forget it. In order to start with a clean slate in life, she takes a teaching position in Texas. Shortly after, during a weekend trip to New Orleans with some friends , she kisses a guy in a bar on a bet. Little did she know Remy, single Dad and sheriff, would be the father of one of her new students . This creates a problem. One, she shouldn’t date a parent of one of her students, and two , she vowed never to get involved with another cop.
We are reminded that life is full of surprises and that matters of the heart cannot be controlled. As well as the fact that in life, there are no guarantees and sometimes what we thought we didn’t want, is exactly what we need. Another entertaining book by this talented author.
I was entrusted this copy by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
