My two boys really really enjoyed this book. It's laugh out loud funny. My house is full of fart talk from morning to night. Even the cover of this book caused them to erupt into laughter. The title is great too. I look forward to many more from these great authors.

I expected the book to deliver more in the way of potty humor and was delightfully surprised that a book called "The Day My Fart Followed Me To Hockey" was more about friendship than gross-out humor. This book will probably be too mature for children who aren't old enough to know when they shouldn't talk about flatulence, but it will be the perfect book for kids who like things that are a little gross and also enjoy stories about true friendship.

The adult in me was surprised by this title, but it's actually a pretty good book about a boy and his friend preparing for hockey tryouts. Little ones will find the story hilarious.

So funny! Farts are not my favorite topic of conversation but I knew my kids would love it, and they did. They were laughing so hard I couldn't finish reading. The illustrations were excellent and we will be adding more "The Day My Fart..." books to our reading collection.

Netgalley provided me with this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I was not required to leave a positive review.

Timmy is very nervous when he is about to try out for the ice hockey team. His loyal "friend" helps him. Illustrations were good.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the eARC.

My daughter begged me to review this one!
She thought it was hilarious that he talked to his fart.
Timmy is anxious about trying out for the hockey team until his best friend shows up to help him through it.
A cute story about friends helping each other with the added bonus of a talking fart.
K-3 boys would get a kick out of this book.

Thanks to Net Galley and Indie Publishing Group for the advance copy.

This a story about a kid who has an imaginary friend-type relationship with fart. They are best friends. Timmy is trying out for the hockey team and is very anxious/nervous about it and asked his stinky friend not to show up. Recognizing his fears, the fart feels like he needs to help his best-friend out and shows up at the try-outs. This is a typical best-friends helping each other story. I don't really know how I feel about the child having a relationship with his fart.

"Who would have thought the kids smelling my fart would help me make the hockey team?"

I tried to read this with my 11-year-old son, however, he "only reads adult books' now. You know, big kid books.

So I read this by myself. (Let it be said, he's not the target market for this book - I would say it's probably 5-7 years, were I to guess).

It took me a page or two to understand the premise of the book. I thought, perhaps, the Little Fart was a cutesy name for a little monster or something. Nope, I'm thinking too much, it's really just a personified fart that happens to be Timmy's best friend.

The book was light and fluffy, told from Timmy's viewpoint. Think of this book as the kids version of the story adults tell about imagining everyone naked during a speaking presentation, to make yourself less nervous.

All in all, a fun book.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me early access to this book for review purposes.

This book is an hillarious adventure. Timmy is nervous as he's going for the hockey tests.
His little fart, his best friend, tries to cheer him up.
At the hockey arena, Timmy is shocked to find the little fart who had followed him.
Timmy is really angry and he does not want to be the stinky kid.
However what the fart does, turns out to be funny!
With all the laughter, Timmy feels relieved and finally passes his test.
A book all kids would enjoy! The fact that a fart is characterized, would surely interest young readers and they'd easily connect with the story!

I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Kids love potty humor, and what is better than a fart?

I think kids will like this brightly colored story about a boy and his fart friend.

I requested this book hoping I could have it sent to my kindle for my grandson. However, it did not give me that option. Therefore, I am not able to give an honest review. It did give the option to download on my computer but I was unable to open the download. By the description, it sounds like a cute book.

This was a very cute children’s book. I tested it out on my son and he had a giggle fit through the entire thing. I will be ordering this for my library.

A very cute book with an important message: laughter makes difficult things easier!
The illustrations are particularly cute and the message of a nervous child who gets a little gassy help kids understand that everyone has embarrassing moments. #TheDayMyFartFollowedMeToHockey #NetGalley

What a fun book. My grandson was in stitches, laughing so much as I was reading it to him. The illustrations are great and really help to tell the story of Timmy and his Little Fart.

So I read this book ahead of reading it to my daughter before bed this week, and I just find this book adorable. it was so cute and funny and would be a great story for kids that get gasey when nervous to make them see that its okay. My daughter will really love this book as our family is made up of gasey people.
