“Cash Luna, renowned pastor and author, presents his new book, NOT BY SIGHT, an anthology on faith, based on 2 Corinthians 5:7.”

I was so excited to read this book. I love nothing more than a good devotional and/or Christian book. I just expect a book about Jesus, a book filled with Bible quotes and an author who shows good discernment skills. However, Mr. Luna tries entirely too hard to be relevant. I don’t want nor need Star Wars, Rocky or other random irrelevant analogies.

I did not realize Cash Luna was a Word of Faith preacher before reading this book. I had to give up on this book about half way through. It was just to wishy-washy and all over the place with the cultural references. Just give me Jesus, He is more than enough.
