Caprice and Grant are finally getting married, but complications arise when their reception venue becomes a murder scene. All sorts of havoc ensue in the lives of those in Kismet, PA with the murder of the vineyard owner, including with Caprice and Grant. This series is consistently good, and I found the reliance on old fashioned values both brave and refreshing. A sincere plus for me with what I usually have to wade through. The characters are well written and there is progress and growth so that they become real to me. I highly recommend 'Cut to the Chaise' and look forward to many more.

I really loved this book! It is a fast paced story with complex characters and interesting twists and turns. Caprice is planning her wedding and so much happens at the venue she is using. Will her wedding come off without a hitch! Murder and mayhem, abounds. This book is a real page turner! Thank you Karen Rose Smith for another wonderful mystery book!

Fun without being silly, twisting without loose ends, this is one you’ll read through. There isn’t much about the actual winery or making of wine but the setting is perfect for the premise

Preparing for your wedding can be stressful, even for someone as organized as Caprice DeLuca. But when the owner of the winery scheduled to hold her reception is found murdered, this puts added stress on Caprice. The murdered man's wife becomes the prime suspect, but she wants Caprice to help solve this and prove her innocent. Can Caprice help or will all the stress derail her wedding? This is a fun series with great characters that continue to develop over the course of the stories. I enjoy the family connections, and the realistic way that they fight with each other and learn to work out their problems. And of course, the animals are more than precious. Each story has one animal that Caprice helps rescue, and this story is no exception. This time it is an adorable Schnoodle (Schnauzer and Poodle) that catches her eye and heart. I can't wait for the next story to see what's next in store for Caprice and Grant. Disclosure: I am voluntarily reviewing this book.

Cut To The Chaise is another installment in the Caprice De Luca mystery series. Though it has some old fashion ideas, it still is a wonderful mystery novel. Who doesn't love weddings, a winery, and a killer? This story is well written and the characters are great.

I have been a fan of Caprice DeLuca and her warm, wonderful Italian family since the beginning of this series, so I was delighted to find that she and Grant are finally getting married. But, as has become a habit in the life o Caprice, murder intrudes upon her life again, and this time on her wedding plans. Caprice is planning to have the reception at Rambling Vines Winery, where she had worked as part of her staging and decorating business to update some of the winery rooms. She goes to firm out some wedding plans along with her two sisters and her best friend Roz who did not know that Michelle, one of the winery owners was a former girlfriend o Caprice's brother Vincent who is currently Roz' significant other. Caprice finds that things are not as she had expected at the winery and that the winery is in financial trouble but she continues with her plans there anyway until Michelle's husband Travis is murdered and Michelle becomes the prime suspect. Michelle calls on Vincent to defend her and that leads to trouble between him and Roz which makes Caprice determined to continue her amateur sleuth career and exonerate Michelle to get Roz and Vincent back together as well as have the wedding of her dreams. I love Caprice with her strong personal style and her guts and determination and her close family relationships and the delicious food at their family meals makes this a series to savor.

I enjoy the Caprice De Luca, home stager, mystery series. The characters are wonderfully sketched out, and the murder plots are written well. Caprice and Grant are about to be married and they’ve chosen a local winery for their reception. All is well until the owner of the winery is brutally murdered and Caprice, still fancying herself a detective, noses into the investigation.
What I don’t like is the constant old fashioned values, for example, show no cleavage in your wedding gown, committed in a relationship men and women should have nothing to do with past relationships even as friends, or constant reminding Caprice is a virgin until her wedding night., and she always tries to push her relationship values on others. It takes my enjoyment away from this novel as a whole.

Caprice and sister Nikki and friend Roz are at the Rambling Vine Winery to check out the events room for Caprice's wedding reception. Everything looks in order but shortly thereafter, Caprice starts hearing rumors that the winery is in trouble and when she learns employees had to be let go and she was asked for the full amount of the reception before instead of the half before and rest after the event, rumors turn into reality. Caprice's concerns about her wedding reception being held at the winery intensifies when the owner of the winery is found murdered.

When the widow of the owner appears to be the primary suspect, Caprice does her own investigation but will her investigation lead to the killer or will the killer make sure Caprice doesn't live long enough to have a wedding?

This is another wonderful installment of the Caprice DeLuca mysteries. If you love cozy mysteries, then you need to check this series out.

Note: I was given a copy of this book by the publisher.

Cut to the Chaise is a fantastic addition to the series. I read this book in 3 hours, I just could not put it down until the very end.
As Caprice and Grant get ready to say I Do, Caprice is dealing with wedding day jitters, in-laws, and now, murder!
With her wedding venue at risk, Caprice has no choice but to investigate, which causes some concern for those involved.
There is so much going on in the story, I was engaged from the beginning and before I knew it, I had finished.
I am excitedly waiting to see what adventures await Caprice in the next book.

I volunteered to read and review an ARC of this book provided by the publisher and NetGalley.
