I enjoyed this second book in the series and am hoping there will be more in the series. You get invested in the characters and I just hope Ellery does not end this series like she did her last.

Nora and the rest of the Secret, Book and Scone society decide that a too thin girl with bruises and a hospital ID bracelet browsing the shelves of Miracle Books, need their help. The ladies take the girl, Abilene, into their welcoming embrace, offering food, support, a job and a place to stay, but so far Abilene is holding her secrets close to her vest. Still. Nora has to insist on knowing more about Abilene after a customer is killed and it’s unclear whether Abilene was the perpetrator, or the next victim.
