I struggled to become invested in this story.  Unfortunately, I didn't finish the book.  I just couldn't pick it back up once I put it down.

interesting book heavily focus on fantasy elements with chilling and atmospheric gothic overtones.

The Watchers is like classical The Hunchback of Notre-Dameand Mark Adler's Bannes of Blood series put together.

It starts as a simple story about a campanologist and he’s obsession with a beautiful lady, whom he sees from his bell tower. But as the story goes forward the story gets more and more darker and ruthless and more complicated with all kinds of hints for readers to create their own theories who could be who and what could be what. And at the end I enjoyed every minute of it.

It was thrilling story and a good book to read.
