Another winner. This devotional is one of the best I have read. It brought me comfort and peace when I needed it. You get a devotional, a prayer and a comment called a "Heart Treasure". Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on my review.

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley, this review expresses my personal opinion.

Wow!, That is the first word that came to my mind when I think about this book. Each devotion are simple and easy, they have a Bible verse( I love that she use different version) I feel it help you to understand a bit more of that truth. A reflection, many of them God knew they were exactly what I need it at that moment. A prayer and a declaration. These devotions will make you stop on your daily life to listen God's true and how the name of this book says, all we need is More of Jesus and less of us and all this world.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity of reading this book, it was a wonderful and unexpected blessing for my life. I truly recommend it Is a great choice!

I was given a copy by Netgalley for review

I love this devotional, let's start off by talking about how beautiful the art work is ... there are beautiful roses on each page.

I love this devotional for several reasons, but to list a few: the devotionals are not dated, so it's perfect for persons who don't like dated devotional. "More Jesus" has more than 100 devotional/topics, so you can pick a random topic to mediate on or go in order... the choice is yours.

Each devotional has a topic, a focus verse, a in-dept intentional thought that as I read, I had to seriously think about what I'm reading, pray as I go and examine my heart against each devotion. There's also closing prayer for each devotion and what I LOVE the most about "More Jesus", is the diversity in scripture translation. The author took her time to find translations that are most impactful, so you can be assured to find translations that you haven't see before but you fall in love with because the words are intentional and impactful to your spirit and they have you in deep thought and leads you to take action.

I would recommend every female/woman to grab yourself a copy of "More Jesus"... these devotional are so personal (in my opinion), brings you closer and closer to Christ each time you read and most of all... they lead you to take action in becoming more like Christ.

Grab yourself a copy... you won't regret your purchase

More Jesus by Donna K. Maltese is a devotional. Each day you will read a verse, a devotional, and a "heart treasure". These heart treasures are little pieces of wisdom. You may want to write these down and keep them somewhere you will see them.

The devotionals themselves are pretty short. You could easily add this book to your morning routine. I like that the prayers are short so I can add to them and make them personal. I usually use the given prayer as a guide, but use my own words. Because of how short these devotions are, I didn't take notes in my journal like usual. Instead, I simply highlighted my favorite verses and heart treasures.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. Because the devotions are so short I didn't have much to go on for reflection. I felt like this book could really use some reflection questions within the devotionals. However, this book is perfect for anyone with limited time. I can easily finish a devotion in under five minutes. If your short on time, but still want to grow in faith I highly recommend this book.

I have enjoyed this short devotional. Each daily reading starts with a verse, followed by a section to put perspective and thought into the passage shared. This is the perfect book for someone looking for spiritual guidance. It is not long but 15 mins would easily give you the time to complete this devotional with the prayer.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion which I share here.

First off, any book that is pointing me back to Jesus is a good book. I have enjoyed this short devotional. Each daily reading starts with a verse, followed by a section to put perspective and thought into the passage shared. The readings end with a prayer prompt and a “Heart Treasure” which is a summarizing biblical truth learned from the reading. This is the perfect prescription for someone looking for spiritual guidance in a nutshell. It is not long but 15 mins would easily give you the time to complete this devotional with the prayer.

This daily devotional is rooted in biblical truth but geared toward modern day difficulties. These devotionals cover a variety of topics while reminding you of Gods love and peace. Geared for trials that every woman will face in her life, these devotions and prayers will remind you of the hope that only the Lord can provide. Read this and let his love wash over you as you remain rooted in Him.

This is a very down to earth devotional that deals with every day worries and problems. Each devotional has a bible verse, then a devotional, a prayer and a Heart Treasure. The short Heart Treasure at the end would be wonderful to write on a note card to keep as a reminder through the day. This is a book I will read over and over again. Thank you Barbour Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.
