This was a great catalog. It showed me so many graphic novels that I have yet to read, that I will in the future. If you are into comic books, I would highly recommend this book.

A good catalog guide for starter comic-book  reader. I'm not really well-versed with DC comics but I think the old and original story, albeit it has it's flaws, is still the best rather than these new ones.

If you've fallen asleep under a rock for the last 5 years then this is the perfect reference book to get you back on track with DC's roster of characters and bestsellers. Rebirth has happened in 2016 and has since paved the way for stories as incredible as their first inceptions - especially the artwork. Both new and old talent have added their contributions to this awesome catalog.

So, whether you're a die-hard comics fan or find yourself new to the whole scene, don't worry: being daunted by the massive assortment of stories is simply just the comic world beckoning you to take your time and dig in.

This is great tool for all DC comics fans. It is an  informative and helpful guide. I recommend adding this to your shelf!

I enjoyed the information i gain on each character in the essential novel catalog.   I think it was going to be a graohiv novel but i was surprised to learn about differnet comics.

This is a great resource for librarians-thank you.  Nice layout and a wide range of titles were shown.

The digital version of this book was glitchy probably due to the amount of pictures, but the content was useful. It contained some fairly old graphic novel publication mixed with some up-and-coming titles. I wish there had been more of an emphasis on the up-and-coming side, but it was a very visually pleasing catalog with a lot of great content.

Looking forward to reading some of the Graphic Novels included in this 2019 edition of DC's Essential Graphic Novels Catalog!
