I like to throw in the occasional self-help/work book, and this was a very beneficial one! I learned a lot while still enjoying the story. I recommend this to anyone trying to break into the business/entrepreneurial world and be an agent of change

Raise the Bar, Change the Game, what a clever title to such an interesting book.

I would have never guessed how interesting the entire business of bar codes truly was, how much it not only has helped with the selling of products, stock, inventory, etc. Through; Raise the Bar, Change the Game, I have learned of how much of an impact it has had to help with the blood banks, and other medical circumstances.

What is even more special about this book, is that the author, Brian Marcel, has this book structured in a way that you are not only reading this man's professional accomplishments and career (the good and the bad), but the end of every chapter has a breakdown of what lessons were learned and also questions for the reader. A great read for any entrepreneur, and for anyone really, because the lessons learned can help anyone, in any career path, even if your own career path is uncertain.

There are quite a few formatting errors that need fixing, however it's still readable.

The writing is alright, not great, not captivating. I liked the "lessons learnt" at the end of the chapters useful. Some of it is simplistic, but so what?
