I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book by Christina Phillips, and, admittedly, I'm a bit ambivalent. I love banter, and Mac and Will have some great banter, and I love how they know each other so well, they can practically read each other's minds. The two main characters have great chemistry as well, and from page one, I was rooting for them to be together. 

My biggest complaint, however, was it felt as if I was thrown into the middle of a story. After finishing the book, I did find out this isn't the first book in this series, so I'm sure that that has a lot to do with it, but seeing as each book in the series follows a single couple, I really felt as though the story should have felt more complete. I enjoyed reading this story, but it did take me a few chapters to understand what was happening.

Mac can read her man like a book, “let me guess.” Her voice is soft, and she traces a finger along the line of my jaw. “You’re sleeping in here tonight, right?” Will really dotes on his woman, “Mac has an exhibition at Camden Market on Boxing Day. You’re all invited.” Will makes it sound more like a command than an invite..." I liked this book, I loved Will.

Loved this book!  It drew me right in from the very first page.  Mac is the girl whose brother is Will's best friend.  Mac and Will have always been good friends, until they had a one night stand that ruined everything and they've avoided each other ever since.  When circumstances throw them back together, they realize how much they've missed their friendship.  However, it's hard to just be friends when the attraction is still there....

The characters were engaging and flawed enough to feel real.  While their tale is predictable, the way it was told  was entertaining kept me hooked until this last page.

If you enjoy a friends to lovers romance, you will love this book.  Additionally, I loved that the characters from the prior books in the series made an appearance.  However, while this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel.  Put this one at the top of your TBR list.

I gotta admit I could not put this book(well ebook) down. I love the witty sparing between Will and Mackenzie. The author build the story line amazingly.

Very good book! I definitely enjoyed reading this book! This is Mackenzie and Will book, they're best friends since childhood and Will is actually best friends with macks brother, they end up hooking up and some situations occur on both sides and they go their separate ways! A few years later macks back in town and they get together on the sly , this book was hot! Really funny! I loved that the band lead singer was such a tool! That was really funny! Definitely don't miss out on this one! I really enjoyed this book! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
