Great Resource. Always enjoyed Jean Chatzky when she was on the today show. She always had sound advice.

Tries to cover too much so ends up going a mile wide and an inch deep. The section on older parents was the most useful.

“Women with Money” was helpful and enlightening in so many ways. It encourages women to talk with friends and family about money, which is often uncomfortable and slightly taboo. The author covers many important topics such as home ownership, saving for retirement, long-term care, and caring for elderly relatives. She covers caregiving for elderly parents since she identifies that many women are the caregivers. I found this book to be thorough, helpful, timely, and extremely informative. I would recommend to women looking to learn more about financial issues.

Special thanks to NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

I have read several books on this topic, and follow the news and media on the topic.. Nothing unusual here for might be helpful for someone new to the subject. For me it was a lot of repetition which may be needed for those with a financial problem.

I'm an avid listener of Jean Chatzky's podcast so I was excited to see that she has a new book coming out. This book is a comprehensive money guide for women. It covers a wide range of topics including: recognizing where feelings about money come from, tips for taking control of your money, negotiation tactics at work and recognizing what you're worth, investment strategies, information on side hustles and home businesses, home ownership and investment property tips, advice for parents on raising kids who are smart about money, and practical information on caring for aging parents. This information is tailored specifically for women as our needs, desires, and uses for money may differ from a man's. This book helps women understand why their relationship with money is the way that it is and how they can set themselves up for success with money, regardless of if they have a partner or not. This book is insightful, well-written, and full of useful tips. I believe all women can learn something from this book.
