I'm torn on this book. The author seemed to be mostly in her journalist mode and I felt she mostly interviewed Jesse-Ray for his story and not so much to actually help him. On the other hand, her husband seemed to really go out of his way to try and help Jesse-Ray although in the end, it was up to Jesse-Ray to want to change for the better. Overall, this was an interesting story.

Wasn't my cup of tea, something was missing. It really felt like all the way through something was missing did they miss something while getting the interview for the book? or is it because i didn't read the first though I hear thats not the case. Jesse-Ray's a the start of the chapters because showed what he was feeling about his life and the writing skill he has while the piece at the end of the chapter has exploring the things discussed in the chapter provided the reader with context and facts to inform the situation the author and her husband still trying to make sense of.

It was an interesting read. The book was well written. I now need to read the first book. I would like to read more from the author.
