This book of short meditations does get somewhat aphoristic and repetitive. However, for those who like the self-improvement genre overall, it will serve as a good summary or day-book. In keeping with its theme of simplicity, the book is also organized quite plainly, which is a good thing. It allows us to dip in and out as needed. The language is also quite unadorned. Still, the book addresses many topics dealing with how to simplify one's life intellectually and emotionally and is a quick read.
