This starts off with such a sexy, island romance sort of vibe to it, even if Naz is on an undercover assignment to keep tabs on Eva for her supposed husband (not in fact true) . I am really loving it.

Then the story proceeds to get progressively more suspenseful and even a little dark- it is intriguing and the chemistry is electric! Loving it even more.

So many secrets and intrigue. As the intensity ramps up and the story unfolds I am glued to my kindle and then "what the hell" happened, it is over. Much cursing and one major cliffhanger later all I can hope is that the next installment of this ?duet will be very soon....
I really cannot wait!!!!!

This book is a beautiful love story between Naz and Eva. I loved ever minute of it. Their attraction was smoldering. Their love so pure. Until Dimitri takes his revenge.
I did not realize that this was Book 1 until the last chapter. Now I cannot wait for Book 2.
J T Geissinger, you have a fan for life.

I was mesmerized by the newest story that J.T. Geissinger was able to weave for her readers. This was the time for the author to develop the character of Nasir, or Naz as he’s called by those close to him. I loved being able to dive into this story, where Naz has transitioned from being the bodyguard to Bad Habit, to watching over a new subject named Ana. The relationship that bloomed was intriguing and the story had an element of suspense that kept you wanting more. I loved that we were able to see some of our old favorite characters, specifically Connor and Tabby, which allowed us to get a glimpse of the world we left them in during prior stories. Although this has ties to other novels, this is a stand-alone novel, which is just the beginning of what will be another captivating series. Ms. Geissinger left us with a heck of a cliff-hanger and leaves you with so many questions about what’s next. The book hasn’t even been released yet and I’m itching for the next one!

Dangerous Beauty has become my new favorite J.T. Geissinger book. We've met Naz briefly in earlier books, but now is his time to shine. And boy did he. Nasir was hired to keep a watchful eye on Evalina, the wife of a Russian mobster. When Naz and Eva cross paths, it is pure fire. Their chemistry is sizzling. But they both have secrets that threaten to ruin the one thing Eva has found in Naz: trust. Dangerous Beauty was filled with the perfect combination of wit, suspense, and sexiness. I could not put this book down, and I almost wish I hadn't read an ARC of this book because now I have to wait even longer for the next installment!

J.T. Geissinger once again proves why she belongs on everyone's must-read list with her latest story Dangerous Beauty. While the story reads as a standalone, it is interconnected with two of her other 5-star series (Bad Habit and Wicked Games) so fans will be especially thrilled to see several beloved characters appear. But if you haven't read the other stories, have no fear! Because Nassir (Barney from the Bad Habit books), the main character is starting a new job, we see his first interactions with the Wicked Sexy characters (Connor and Tabby!!!) so it reads as if they are first being introduced, making a smooth transition for new readers. Geissinger is known for creating worlds that are unique and exciting. Her unparalleled storytelling bridges both of the aforementioned series into one amazing world that will blow readers away.

Geissinger's characters are always strong and independent and those in Dangerous Beauty are no exception. Nassir, aka Naz is intense. He's ex-military and this creates an air of mystery around him. He's protective, dangerous, addictive, romantic and deliciously sexy. I loved his dark, dry sense of humor---it was befitting for this enigmatic man. Eva is strong, independent, beautiful and a true survivor. She harbors a dark, horrific past that has shaped who she is. Together, Naz and Eva share a connection that is both fun yet dangerous. Their witty banter is perfectly delivered. I found myself laughing out loud one moment and sitting on the edge of my seat with utter anticipation the next. Geissinger builds their relationship veeeerrrrrryyyyy slowly until readers are left gasping at the major cliffhanger that is dropped at the end. This one I didn't see coming and initially I was ready to throw my Kindle, but am so glad that Geissinger wrote it that way because Naz and Eva have so much story left to be told! Knowing the author, the cliffhanger will be well worth the wait as the payoff will be sublime.

This is the story of Nasir, who has been hired to keep an eye on Evalina, a woman bearing the reputation of a spoiled Russian "businessman's" wife who has strayed to Mexico because she needed "space."

But first impressions tell Nasir that maybe Eva's backstory is just that: a story. A story that fits the narrative of a man who feels wronged by the woman he treats more as property than as a human being.

What unfolds is a fantastic friendship between Nasir, or Naz, and Eva. A friendship that is full of heat and attraction. The passion between these two characters develops in a way that seems gradual but that we know is inevitable while avoiding that predictable feeling.

This book is full of the humor and snark you expect from its author if you have read any of her other books. What I wasn't expecting was a cliffhanger. I hate cliffhanger endings. But this book ... I cannot wait to read the next in the series.

One final note: There is a lot of heat in this book. And it's done in such a way that felt absolutely perfect for each scenario.

JT Geissinger knocks it out of the park with this novel. This narrative will grab you from page one and keep you enamored until the very end. The characterization is beautifully crafted and the dynamic between the two main characters, Eva and Naz, is electric. Geissinger provides a perfect balance of satire and sincerity between the two that will have you both laughing out loud and crying into your pillow. Great read. But warning, it ends in a pretty heavy cliffhanger. 5 stars.

Dangerous Beauty is another immensely readable book from this author.
Eva has escaped from an abusive and terrifying relationship with a Russian thug who has kept her prisoner since a child. Naz, ex special forces and now an employee for Tabby and Connors investigative company has been hired by the Russian to keep tabs on Eva and report on her whereabouts and daily activities. Naz thinks he has been employed by a worried husband who’s only concern is for the safety of his wife completely in the dark of any other background.
Eva is unaware she has been found and being watched, and when they meet their attraction to each other is off the scales, it’s not long before Naz realises that he and his bosses have been duped and have to find a way for Eva to escape this man once and for all.
This book is full of action with a terrific storyline, great characters some of whom it’s great to meet again.
Just as you start getting settled the rug is pulled out from under you as it ends on a cliffhanger, you’ll be screaming Noooo at your kindle/book. I’m not a lover of books ending like this and tend not to get the next in the series, this one.....I can’t wait, it’s a story that you need and want to see to the end, and The sooner the better.

Wow, so the ending was a surprise. I’ll have to make sure I read the next book in the series. Was really disappointed I didn’t get to see Eva kick some ass.
The chemistry between the two main characters is great, and the banter between Connor and Tabby is fun as well. J T Geissinger has produced a fun, easy to read novel with some suspense thrown in, can’t wait for the next one.

Omg! The horror of a cliffhanger! Especially when I am CLUELESS about when the next book is coming out!!! This was my first J.T. Geissinger book and it will NOT be my last! I was immediately, completely under the spell of Naz and Eva! So much excitement and love! I'm speechless!

Thelma & Dudley were an amazing couple.
Yes their relationship started with lies and secrets.
But their playful banter really sparked their romance. Hence their cute nickmakes for each other.

I hate that even after Naz (Dudley) proved himself worthy and willing to protect Eva (Thelma) that she would be willing to give us a reason for this cliffhanger.

Overall though this book was delightful!! I highly recommend!

Simply put, this book is amazing. Dangerous Beauty is full of humor, suspense, steam, and action thus keeping me entertained until the very end. I was very excited about this book as I was wondering where Nasir (aka Barney) was going to end up after he resigned from being Nico’s bodyguard from the Bad Habit series. He is a strong, sexy, protective male who is tasked with keeping surveillance on Eva and the more he watches and interacts with her, the more he falls for her. Eva is a strong character who is a survivor. She has such great perseverance and I love how she doesn’t hold back what she says. Her thoughts and feelings just pour out of her mouth and it has led to some humorous and witty interactions between her and Nasir. I love the banter between the two of them and it is impossible to not want them to get their HEA. The question is, can their relationship survive the betrayal she feels when she discovers how Naz met her? Can she ever escape Dmitri?

I also enjoyed the secondary characters of Tabby and Connor. The two of them had me laughing so hard. (Tabby and Connor have their own book - Wicked Sexy if you want to know more about them). My only issue is that I felt that all the of the action occurred in the last 10% of the book and then was surprised when it ended in a cliffhanger. I am not a big fan of cliffhangers and usually won’t read the book until all the books have been released, but I can definitely see how Naz and Eva’s story couldn’t be contained to one book. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This author has the unique ability to create a combination romantic comedy-suspense. I cannot wait for the next installment! I received this book through Netgalley.

I just read this ARC in one day and it doesn’t release until March 26th meaning I probably have at least 6 months before the next part comes out.

Nasir and Eva ware awesome characters who I feel in love with. My emotions were all over the place and now... now I’m just... ‘AHHHH!!!’.

Anyways, I look forward to reading the next book. Wish me luck and fingers crossed it’s out soon. Like maybe tomorrow. :)

Holy cliffhangers, Batman! After his memorable appearances in the Bad Habit books, I've been waiting for Nasir to get his own story, and while I am excited to know that we will get more of him than just one book, I am DYING after that ending. I will be anxiously, happily waiting on that cliff's edge for book two, consoling myself in the meantime with Connor and Tabby's story, which I haven't read and must go find immediately.

I really think Naz secretly loves when his woman is blunt, "he groans. “Why can’t you be coy for once, woman? You’re killing me.” Naz really doesn't care what his woman does as long as she keps touching him, "there’s a slight emphasis on the word hard. Is she playing with me? Punishing me? Fuck, who cares? As long as she keeps doing it. I answer through gritted teeth. “eff yes. So hard.” I liked this book, I loved Naz and I can't wait for more.

I liked this book but I feel like they fell in love super fast and everything was very intense very quickly which kind of ruined it for me.

The ending was a surprise I didn't see coming.

Eva is so strong and brave. What she went through for several years and survived it and was able to escape is brave. She is beautiful in and out no matter what she went through. Her ex boyfriend is a evil and dangerous man. Can she hide from him forever? She meets Naz and she feels comfortable around him and wants him to be her friend. Her feelings for him grows stronger each time they are around one another.

Naz is a protector and works for special ops. He is hired on to watch her and make sure he doesn’t lose her. They start doing things together and his feelings are growing stronger. He learns things about what his employer has done to her. He wants to protect her instead of keep an eye on her. But will she still have those feelings for him when she finds out the truth? They have to get away. Will she go with him? Would she want his protection or think he is leading her back into the arms of the enemy?

I just love this book. Naz and Eva are amazing for one another. They are funny and romantic. Highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next book. J.T Geissinger you have done it again. Absolutely amazing.

I'm a big J.T. Geissinger fan, she's proven herself over and over to me. So, when I see her name, it's a no-brainer. Yes. Yes. Yes. No need to even read a synopsis. Which explains how I ended up in the middle of a romantic suspense story that ends on a cliffhanger. But, even if I had known, it would still have been a hell yes!

Naz is just basking in the sun and collecting an easy paycheck. Why not enjoy all the benefits of an island getaway while spying on a beautiful woman, right? He never expected to make contact with her, he was just supposed to watch her from afar and report back. Well, you know how the best laid plans go... they don't. When Naz witnesses her in trouble, he can't do anything other than rescue her. And once he does that, he cannot return to his invisible state. And once he talks to her, he wants her even more than he did before. But, she's not on the menu, she's forbidden fruit and he can't have a taste.

Evalina has been hiding for months. She's paranoid and lonely, but she's free. She's been doing a good job of taking care of herself but when she runs into danger she welcomes the intervention of the sexy stranger. She's very wary, but she can't help but feel safe in his presence.

The deeper I got into this story, the more intrigued I became. The chemistry between Naz & Eva is electric, but he knows she's married so he fights it. They are both keeping secrets and the suspense is excruciatingly intense right up until the final page. My heart was about to pound out of my chest and I kept sliding my finger to turn the next page in my Kindle, just in case the story would magically continue the next time I tried. I'm so excited to get my hands on the next installment in this story. My mind is liable to explode if I have to wait too long. The line forms here...

I loved the synopsis for this story, it’s everything I love in a story. Ex military man hired to follow a runaway wife, becomes slightly obsessed and then discovers that everything is not as it seems. After swearing to protect her it appears that there are still a few more twists to the story. Wonderful writing and characters and a whole load of chemistry between Nasir and Eva.
Action romance with a huge cliffie, I was not upset by this as I had been pre warned, but as anyone who knows me knows. I am not a fan of waiting, I’m much too impatient. I was however left a little heartbroken at the possibility of what is going to happen next. Watch this space. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley.
