Ok, so to be honest this book was tough for me to start. I'm not quite sure why, it was written fine, the story was good. I just struggled with it. Not one to leave a book unfinished I powered on and boy am I glad I did! With Autumn the quirky would be guardian Angel and smitten Declan I just had to finish. It kind of starts out pretty predictable when there was a turn I did not expect at all. Que the emotions and tears. Overall a good book.

I loved loved this one. This is one you should definitely one click. Declan is sexy sweet guy. He thinks Autumn is a crazy stalker. Autumn thinks she is Declan's Guardian Angel and is in charge of keeping him safe. Autumn is super funny and she had me laughing. When Declan and Autumn actually meet there is a connection. Autumn doesn't want to start a relationship with Declan because her job is to keep him safe not fall in love with him. Just when I thought everything was going to be all peachy and perfect there's a twist I never saw coming. Gosh this twist had me chanting "no, no, no" as it was unfolding. The story went from sweet to heart string pulling in a snap. I so loved this one. It's a must read.

Autumn Jones is convinced that she is Declan Moss’ guardian angel. She feels a connection to him and a need to keep him safe. However, it’s hard to protect a guy when her popping up everywhere gives him the creeps. He runs from her every chance he gets as she continues to do everything in her power to make sure he doesn’t die.

The truth is, something was going to happen to Declan Moss. Something terrible. Something deadly. Something I could stop.

Full of humor and heat with a nice dose of feels, I couldn’t put Tripping on a Halo down. It was so much fun with its unique storyline and endearing characters, and it pulled me in right from the start.

Autumn is hilarious. She’s a complicated character who isn’t fully understood. She believes she is Declan’s guardian angel and therefore needs to keep him in her sights. I love that she doesn't care what people think and stays true to her mission. She’s fun and and I couldn’t help but love her quirks.

Declan thinks Autumn is crazy. The way he finds out her identity is comical and he can’t quite understand why he isn’t running the other way when he finally meets her in person. I loved seeing him react to her and the pull she had on him when he wasn’t quite sure about her.

"You're going to think I'm crazy."
"I hate to break it to you, but that boat sailed a long time ago."
"It's okay. My sister thinks I'm crazy too."

Even with their outrageous and unconventional situation, Autumn and Declan's chemistry is sizzling and the sexual tension is out of control in the best possible way. There’s a bit of back and forth but it makes the buildup so delicious and it wasn’t at all frustrating. They can't keep they hands off of each other and I love that they can't deny how good they are together.

There so much fun and lightheartedness in the beginning and then you are hit with a jaw-dropping twist. It’s emotional and heartbreaking, and ends up being the part where I really fell head over heels for Declan. He is sweet, swoony, honest, and committed, and shows such a wonderful side to his character towards the end.

Overall, I really enjoyed Autumn and Declan's journey and appreciated the ups and downs. Even when there was pain, there was love, and the epilogue brings back the smiles, tying everything together nicely.

She had saved him. She had createdthem. Shehad wormed her way into his life, and then his heart, and broken him open in a hundred different ways. Gave him love and chaos and color in a world that had always been precise angles of grey.

When a book starts off the way this one did you know its going to be a good one that you will be unable to put down and Alessandra Torre certainly did not disappoint me. Seriously a woman trying to be inconspicuous whilst carrying a huge penis is something that definitely amuses you and catches your attention.

I literally laughed so much reading this beauty. I honestly think this was my favourite book from Alessandra Tore so far. Not only did she bring such brilliant humour she also gave me all the feels. The emotions in this book also hit me hard but she weaved them well within the story.

Autumn, I loved this girl so much! she was so funny but I don't think she meant to be. After her mums death she finds a new purpose in life by trying to keep Declan safe after saving his life and now believing she is his Guardian Angel. Declan on the other hand believes he has a stalker in Autumn. She keeps popping up everywhere.

When I started this book I went in blind, not knowing much about it just that it was a new read from Alessandra Torre and I LOVED every single minute of this book.

As a note, a copy of this novel was sent to me via NetGalley by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not effect my opinions in any way. Review also found at Booked J.

This was my very first experience with an Alessandra Torre and it was every bit as humorous and enjoyable that I hoped it'd be. Tripping on a Halo had its faults but it was ultimately as heavenly and steamy as readers want it to be. This was one of those books that caught me off guard with its outlandish wit and comedic timing. It had something about it that was unexpectedly fun and will tease its audience throughout.

One thing was certain: Tripping on a Halo was addictive and captivating enough for me to have finished it in one sitting. It has the perfect hook in the form of its first sentence (which takes readers full circle by the end of the novel) and I knew I would be in for a treat when I read it, as well as its synopsis. Torre has her humor highly present in the prose of Tripping on a Halo and if there's one quality to it (aside from its steamier, more romantic moments) that readers should be aware of is its hilarity.

I'll admit that plotline wise I wasn't sure what to expect from Autumn's whole guardian aspect when it came to her, for lack of a better word, stalking of Declan. Admittedly, hearing "stalking" and romance in the same sentence will likely put readers off, but there is more to it than what I could possibly explain in one review.

There were times when I was often confused about things in Tripping on a Halo. The past. Autumn's actions, the illness that dominated the final quarter of the book, Declan's... everything? To be blunt, I had the impression that some of these plotlines were tossed aside for other developments. While it did not make me dislike the book, it did lead to the occasional head-scratch moment from me.

Tripping on a Halo, despite its flaws, was a fun and indulgent read for the start of winter. Torre has a way with romance and comedy; crafting something unique and entertaining for her readers. It is easy to see why she's often on the receiving end of praise in the genre--she is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

This was a fun read with a quirky heroine and lots of OTT moments. I have to say it was a little slow to start for me and at times, I really struggled to stay connected with the story as it was a little too OTT for me but I am glad I persevered as the second half of the book really drew me in and took a real emotional turn that just got right under my skin. This was a book of two halves for me but overall I enjoyed it.

There are so many emotions going through me right now that I don’t even know how I’m going to write my review.

There are happy tears, sad tears and every tear in between those. It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed so much and cried as much throughout a book. I felt bipolar. My emotions ranging from extremely happy and excited to extremely sad and depressed.

Autumn became my best friend in this book. Her crazy facts and comical way made me love her and not wanting this story to end.

Declan is all man. Yummy, sexy amazing man. He is the ultimate dream book boyfriend. He’s the perfect combination. Emotional. Sexy. Lovable. I just love him.

Autumn fought him tooth and nail. Everything leading up to “the event” is perfect. I can’t say more. I’m crying too much to do so.

Tripping on a Halo is a book I didn’t know I needed to read until I did. Now don’t confuse this with me not wanting to read it because I did. Overly so. It’s an Alessandra Torre book and anything she writes is gold. This book, Tripping on a Halo, is extremely emotional. It’s happy, sad, comical and heart shattering all in one. There’s even a little bit of suspense. You truly don’t understand Autumn’s obsession until you read it for yourself. I’m so happy I did!

4.5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I loved this book! It had everything you could want in a great read. It was funny, flirty, sexy, and a must read. I was immediately captured by the two main characters and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next between them. Each time their paths crossed, Autumn would do something outrageous to keep Declan safe, and each time you would wonder what he was going to do to keep her at bay. I also loved how you didn’t always know what was going to happen next, I feel like lately you can almost guess what a book will have happen and it takes the fun away. With Tripping On A Halo, I was never bored and was invested from the beginning. If you need a new book or just are in a slump, you need to read Tripping On A Halo!!!

Autumn is suppose to save Declan and keep him safe, or so she thinks. Instead most of the time she makes a spectacle of herself in front of him use to make sure he is okay. But she doesn’t know why she is suppose to save him or when it will stop. The only problem is he is starting to notice her and she is beginning to seem like she is crazy.

Declan doesn’t know why there is a girl who is always stalking him but he is getting tired of it. She is always around and always doing something crazy. He doesn’t know if he should be scared or file a restraining order. But when he ends up meeting her and spending time with her, he is rethinking how he originally felt.

Declan and Autumn immediately have a connection and they both know that it shouldn’t be ignored. But Autumn can’t forget that she is suppose to save him so she tells him they can only be friends. And even though Declan agrees to friendship he is going to do what he can to change her mind.

Will they be able to have a real relationship? Or are they about to have their lives flipped upside down and change all they know?

I laughed out loud, swooned and fought tears holy wow this was so amazing I never wanted it to end.

Autumn is quirky and fun riddled with obligation and crazy-making ways. Declan ah, the BBF we never knew we wanted. OMG in the end he’s perfection in print.

I adored the story, the concept, the path to each other. Witty, snazzy lol with love, concern and so much more! A beautiful tale of finding love.

Fantabulicious!
This romantic comedy is the perfect perfect anecdote of sweet and spicy guaranteed to brighten your day! It will lift your spirits and get your heart rate going!
The writing is sharp and edgy, and it’s not your typical rom-com. This unique, sexy and funny story was wickedly delicious. It’s sweet and captivating and then there’s this twisted little dirty twist that gives it just the right amount of bite.
Flawlessly written with great characters I was swept up by this read and forgot everything else!
A fast easy read!
4.5 stars!

I never know what to expect from this author but I do know I will love it. And this one was no different. I spent a large amount of time laughing out loud but I did fall in love a little when the story finally came together for me. This is one of those books you just have to read. Get ready to enjoy it from the first page till the end!

Tripping on a Halo by Alessandra Torre is the story is such a cute romance.
Autumn feels she is a Guardian Angel to Declan and goes to guard in a funny way. To Declan she is a stalker until he meets her in person. Then sparks fly for him. Declan was a cute 'book boyfriend' and he added to my reading pleasure. I thought this had some funny scene that I enjoyed too.

Delightful, charming, unique. These are some of the words that have been used to describe Tripping on a Halo. All are correct and Alessandra Torre’s brilliant writing, extraordinary storyline and unforgettable characters are the things that make them correct.

As Autumn and Declan’s story begins, you’re smack dab in the middle of their story. You learn their back story through the rest of the book and it’s really entertaining.

Of course it wouldn’t be a Alessandra Torre book without a twist. She gives us a doozy! But then she makes it all good. And I mean, ALL good!

This book will be high on my recommendation list for a long time to come.

3.5*

This was quirky and amusing. I loved Declan, Autumn was unique....almost a stalker but her heart was in the right place.
I liked how they came together it was natural considering the circumstances , loved Mr Oinks and Autumn’s sister.
There was a twist which I did pick up on but that did not hinder my enjoyment of the book. Would have like a longer epilogue but you can’t have everything!

A light, quirky romance.

***3,5 "Her Voodoo Magic!!!" stars***

"It’s really hard to save a guy’s life when he keeps running from you..."

This was my first book by Alessandra Torre and i have to say that i enjoyed it a lot!!!
I only have to add that i was expecting it to be a little more funny than it finally was, but I'm not complaining!!!

The truth is that the beginning was a little bit far-fetched, but i will admit that every hole got covered to the end and even though that the story was funny, at the end, it became more sentimental!!!!
I liked very much all the characters in here, the protagonists and the secondary characters... Especially, Ansley!!!!
Some of them were a little bit absurd, but i can not say that they weren't loveable in a way!!!

"Roger has a client who'd be perfect for you. He even believes in aliens!"
"I'm not an alien, Ansley, I'm a guardian angel."
"Oh, my GAWD, you're my little sister. You're not a guardian angel. Trust me, I'd know."

And the most absurd character in here was Autumn!!!! This girl was... crazy, but so cute!!!!
She had that crazy idea that she was Declan's guardian angel and her mission was to keep him safe, no matter the consequences!!! And she was doing the craziest things ever!!!!
From the other hand, Declan was more down to earth, but then he met her and he got fascinated by her!!! Okay, and a little bit terrified!!! Bahahaha...
But Autumn managed to stole his heart and then.. things got complicated for them....
Well, the truth is that i thought that the things between those two were moving really fast and it seemed a little too much!!!

The truth was, it didn’t matter if I liked Declan Moss. It was irrelevant... End of discussion. Goodbye, toe-curling ecstasy. Hello, binoculars and portable first aid kit."

Overall, i did have a good time reading this book!!! Even its tiny flaws in my eyes!!!
It had its funny moments and its sweet moments!!!
And God, i loved the pig so much!!! It was hilarious!!! Bahahaha....

It was an okay read, I needed more background on why she felt she was a guardian angel, also, the end with the tumor was a little overdone..

If you ever want to read a book that is rather different but also interesting then this will definitely be one for you
I really liked the characters, the craziness, the kind of out there direction the story took! You have certain circumstances that make you think is it true, could Autumn be a Guardian angel for Declan? But you also come to see that people do grow on you with persistence, albeit in a quirky way!
I enjoyed this book for the characters and their ways, the banter and then there is something you don’t ever think will happen!
An Intriguing interesting and different story!

I love all things Alessandra, but for some reason, this one didn't work for me. I just couldn't connect, and no matter how far I read I wasn't pulled in and the characters weren't relatable for me. Of course I loved the writing and there were a few funny parts, but overall it was just okay with me. Hoping her next book is more of a win for me!

This is definitely a detour from the usual Alessandra Torre tale. I was honestly not sure for the majority of the book whether or not I was going to like it. Too many questions floated through my mind. I couldn't figure out how she became so batshit crazy. Until I did.

I can say that it's a sweet and mildly disturbing story. I mean the stalker turned...well, you'll see. It's cute, wacky, weird, and the stuff romance novels are famous for-feels. Solid gold feels.

Tripping on a Halo is definitely one of those books it might take awhile after reading to feel out what your true feelings are.
