A sweet, delightful romance between two opposite personalities. Josie is city girl always on the go and married to her job. Tuck is a small town man who seeks out the small pleasures, like sunsets and walks through the woods. Their attraction plays out as a slowly developing romance with an idyllic backdrop. I have to go back to read book one since I loved the both the town and people of Sweetwater Springs. I enjoyed Tuck's mother and his sister Halona. The conflicted but sweet Maddie added a show stopping side story. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy in exchange for my opinion. Looking forward to the next installment in this cute series.

This is such a sweet opposites attract romance. Tuck is the small town physical therapist. Josie is the big city lifestyle journalist. Their meet cute goes horribly wrong when she pulls pepper spray on him.

Tuck's cottage on Blueberry Creek sounds beautiful and serene. It has access to the creek and hot springs, stables where he plans to add therapy horses, and fields full of wildflowers. I think this will become my new dream vacation spot.

The story felt a bit longer than necessary. However, it was sweet throughout. It was a celebration of love, forgiveness, and hope.

Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for the book. These opinions are my own.

I loved this story! Tuck and Josie seemed like opposites at the start. But as the story progressed, their differences fit together so well! I loved both of the lead characters and Maddie so much!!! The story was paced well and I read it in one day! I have added Annie Rains to my list of favorite authors. I will definitely pick up her other books since I enjoyed this one so much! I received a copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a sweet story about a city girl who visited the country because her best fiend recently moved there to run a B&B. Within the first week she found herself in the care of a very attentive, but grumpy physical therapist. Her one week stay turned into two months, and you can guess how this whines to lovers troupe ended up.

However, there are several twists and turns in Josie and Tuck’s story, and I’m not going to expose them here.

Warning: This is an open-door romance. There were several scenes I found myself skipping because they were more 🔥🔥🔥 than I could handle.

Trigger warnings: lost of spouse, mother and child

Small-town vibes, a beautiful setting, and an opposites-attract love story! I liked the twist in this sweet story. The characters were emotional and engaging, with some depth in the story without dragging or getting boring, It's an easy read that moves well and was written well. Overall, it was a feel-good romance, the second in the series but I think it can stand alone perfectly fine.

Lovely story! New Yorker Josie travels to Sweetwater Springs to visit her best friend, Kaitlyn, who owns a bed and breakfast with her fiancee, Mitch. Soon after arriving, Josie becomes injured while walking on the nearby trail and needs physical therapy. The problem with that is she's already at odds with Tucker, who picked her up at the airport. He's the physical therapist! I enjoyed hearing Josie and Tucker's story and how they dealt with the unexpected challenges which came their way. I'm definitely adding the rest of Annie Rain's Sweetwater Springs books to my To Be Read list!

Josie and Tucker are not interested in a relationship, much less with each other, but fate has other ideas! They have an instant dislike for each other at the airport and somehow keep getting thrown together. Eventually, they realize that first impressions are not what they seem.... Such a sweet romance with a wonderful small-town setting. The characters are great, and the storyline interesting. I really enjoyed reading this one! Definitely recommend!

Love Sweetwater Springs! First I read of this series……now will backtrack and read the others. Sometimes you just want a sweet story and this book definitely delivers. Josie is heading to Sweetwater Springs for a week getaway a visit her BFF, Kaitlyn. Tucker a friend of Kaitlyn gets roped into picking up Josie from the airport. They definitely got off on the wrong foot, but there is a spark between them. Josie dream job has gone downhill with the new management, her apartment building in NY has a minor fire, but now she is temporarily homeless. The B & B is sold out, as is every other place in town due to the festival coming up. Tucker to the rescue again! Tucker really doesn’t want to have the beautiful City Princess living in his rental, he isn’t ready for the temptation of letting a women into his life. The characters are realistic, the town sounds charming. A nice getaway.
I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story.

Much of the story was predictable but I enjoy a good heart-warming read and although it was predictable, I enjoyed reading it. I love reading second chance romances and this book kept my attention.

A beautiful and heartwarming read that makes you smile. The story is excellently writen with some great characters.

Josie, a New York based journalist, is visiting her best friend in a small town for some vacation time. There she meets Tucker after injuring her leg since he is a physical therapist and he helps her. His wife has passed away and that is why he is in that town.

During Josie's recovery they find themselves experiencing feelings for each other that they try to deny. A few problems get in their way, however at the end their love beats everything.

The characters were so relatable, including the side ones, and the book was pretty emotional but at the same time easy to get through, so I definetely recommend to read this one!

Annie Rains has done it again! She has created another story in this beautiful series. Springtime at Hope Cottage is an incredibly sweet story, well written with great character development. It is the story of Josie and Tucker.

Josie is a journalist from New York City, who is visiting her best friend for a quick vacation and is hoping to get a few stories on the small town of Sweetwater Springs. While on a hike outside of her friends B&B she injures herself. And luckily enough for Josie, the local Physical Therapist Tucker Locklear is able to help her heal her injured ankle.

Tucker moved to Hope Cottage in Sweetwater Springs after the passing of his wife and has been growing his PT practice ever since. He has directed the focus of his practice on an outdoor/nature based program vs a gym based program and Josie seems to appreciate that, as do various other townsfolk.

While Josie and Tucker hang out, flirt and tell themselves and others that their time together means nothing a handful of other life issues pop up for both of them. Will those life issues impact a possible romance? Will they sway the romance into one direction or another?

Spend the time to read this wonderful story to find out what happens between Josie and Tucker and how they find romance. . .or not?

I really enjoyed this sweet romance story set in the fictional town of Sweetwater Springs. In this book, Josie Kellum is an editor of a New York City magazine and has come to visit her friend in Sweetwater Springs. Shortly after arriving in town, she has a hiking accident that requires her to get physical therapy from the handsome widower Tucker Locklear in town. Tuck comes to her rescue in other ways in the story and it's not too long before the two start to have feelings for each other. Besides the main romance story line, there's another secondary plot line featuring one of Tucker's young physical therapy patients that I felt was also interesting. I look forward to reading more books in this series. I felt like this story was fine as a stand alone, but my interest was peaked enough by cameo appearances of characters from Book #1 that I will be going back to get caught up in the series. Thanks to the author and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book for free in exchange for my honest opinions.
