Paige has gone through a rough breakup with Noah, is in the middle of looking for a new job, and dealing with the death of her dad. She decides to delve into the world of online dating, and she begins to talk to someone who might not have the best intentions. This is quite the scary book to read if you are single and doing the online dating thing!
I also loved the ending. I enjoy a book that doesn't always have a tidy wrap-up and Fielding does a great job of keeping you in suspense. I always love her books and was so happy to receive an advanced copy of this one.

It thought this book was a smart and addictive psychological thriller and it kept me interested the entire book.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good thriller and who has tried or wants to try online dating.

I really enjoyed this book. Very good mystery with lots of twists and turns. This book also had a lot of humor with the remarks of the two young kids and even the adults at times. I have been reading Joy Fielding since she first started writing

NOW SPOILER ALERT

I hope Joy is reading this because I want to read the rest of the book. I was happy just reading along and then DONE. I kept trying to turn the kindle page, I even read all the pages of Thanks to everyone but no more story. Where is he, What is he doing now

What a firecracker of a book! I loved this book, the characters, the plot and the twist. Poured through it and the ending left me in a really good mood. Funny, warm and genuinely suspenseful. One of her best. 4.5.

I have been a Joy Fielding fan/foll9wer for 37 years. Some of her books i loved, some i merely liked, some i dragged my way through dutifully because they were Fielding books. This one isn't necessarily BAD (i don't think Fielding has the ability to write a truly bad book), but it is quite formulaic and the characters stereotypical and predictable. I had it solved by 32% into the book. But it was an ok read for the early cold evenings.

Joy Fielding is a writer who tells a great story. She invites the reader into the world she has created and I've never been disappointed by any of her work. All the Wrong Places is primarily about relationships. Paige Hamilton is the central character. She's smart and caring and successful in her career. Her life took an unexpected nose dive when her company is bought up by a larger firm who brought in all their own people and Paige lost her job. She came home early one day and found her boyfriend in bed with her cousin. Paige then moved into her Mother's home. She's finally ready to try dating again and signs up on a dating website. The story takes on a darker tone when a serial killer notices her and tries to charm her into dating him.firm

Overall, the characters were well developed and the plot was interesting.. I was surprised by the ending and it seemed appropriate to the story. Look for this book in March of 2019.

I received an Advanced Reader's Copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

A bit better than one star, but nevertheless very few redeeming qualities. Characterizations and dialogue are nonsensical and unbelievable, and the plot is unrealistic. Can't recommend unless you want a skim through read at the beach.

The wrong date with a man who styles himself as Mr. Right Now on multiple on-line dating sites is a set-up for this riveting thriller about a mother, daughter, her rival and her best friend who are - you guessed it - looking for love in all the wrong places.. It's a publishing trope these days - serial killers who stalk their prey on line and naive or just unwitting victims - but Fielding is an accomplished writer who handles even well-worn plots with style and drive.

ALL THE WRONG PLACES is a perfect thriller to come out at what is probably the height of online "dating." Paige is a once successful woman who had the perfect job and perfect boyfriend. When both of them end and she finds herself moving back in with her mother, Joan, until she can get back on her feet, she decides to try her luck at online dating. Unfortunately there are some missing women in the area and it turns out there is a serial killer who uses an online dating site to meet his victims and eventually lure them to their deaths.

This is a great read, with many twists that I wasn't expecting. The narration switches between Paige, her mother Joan, her best friend Chloe, her irresponsible and shady cousin, Heather, and the serial killer. This definitely keeps things interesting as there are a few different story lines going on that all come together in the end. Although the ending is a little abrupt (I thought it was the end of the chapter and was shocked to find I finished it), I was highly intrigued 100% of the way. I've been a fan of Joy Fielding for years, and this did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

This book delved into multiple characters and their stories but they were all somehow related. I really liked the story and thought the ending was good. It really surprised me.

The characters and plot kept me interested although I thought knew what the ending would be, I was right but it still surprised me with an ironic last few paragraphs.

I love Joy Fielding and have been reading her novels for many years, All the Wrong Places doesn’t disappoint! Story centers around the perils of online dating, where a serial killer is using a site to lure women into his trap. The story builds to a great conclusion that almost had me laughing it was so fitting.

Joy Fielding offers an eerie account of what can happen when a serial killer lingers in the anonymity of online dating.

While this book started out with potential and strong character build, the narrative ended up feeling drawn out and convoluted as we waited to see how all the cursory characters melted into the main plot. It felt as if there were two separate stories being told at multiple points in the book. Unfortunately, this unwoven plot took away from the anticipation element. It ended up being predictable and an overall mediocre read. 3 stars.

Compelling story and interesting characters kept me reading straight through. A few too many subplots with the more minor characters for my taste, but I enjoyed it overall. Even though I saw it coming, I got a huge kick out of the ending.

The dangers of modern dating are the subject of Fielding’s newest book. Four women download a dating app hoping for a happy ever after, or at least another chance at love. Mr. Right Now says and does all the right things, he’s handsome and charming….until he has his date alone. Then he becomes a monster. And one of the women has swiped right on his profile and now may become his victim instead of his date. Sadly, this fictional story could well be true. A reminder that online dating is a dangerous business indeed

This is a fun book, that is an enjoyable read, and will find a place among many mystery readers. It is a cautionary tale for those people who date on various on-line dating sites.

It is the story of friendship, jealousy and the complex relationships between mothers and daughters. It is the rivalry between two look-alike cousins that leads to a somewhat predictable ending.

The reader is privy to the plans of the attractive dater who is an internet predator. With all this and other engaging subplots, it certainly held my interest.

This filled the bill for an interesting and satisfying woman’s mystery.

Thank you to Random House/Ballantine and Net Galley for an advanced read of this title. I have enjoyed Joy Fielding's books for years, and I was excited to delve into her latest. This book narrates between several characters, including mother/daughter, a cousin, and a best friend. Some are more likable than others, but to me this is a good character development if I can't stand some of them. That said, it gives us an inside look into dating, and some of the risks women truly could face in today's world of having to trust online experiences. The only negative I have with this book was the ending. I literally turned the page for the next chapter and realized it had ended. With that warning, I'll highly recommend this one.
