Thank you Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I thought this book had very modern, and provocative thoughts on sexuality. It explores the role gender has on historic and modern beliefs on sex. It attacks the model that men control women's sexuality and introduces the need to facilitate a society where women are no longer the passive partner in a heterosexual relationship. It is neither anti-men nor anti romance but provides a clear message that a rape culture without clear consent can no longer be tolerated and can be overturned by encouraging women to be more open about their sexuality. Very well done.

Interesting and informative resource book. It is evident that the author put a lot of effort into educating the readers about this subject. Highly recommend.

This is one that will take a few sessions of reading through to allow everything to sink in.

The research is very thorough and the author cites examples from her own experiences as well as empirical research (with sources cited at the end).

Every topic discussed was well presented and turned what we all think we know based on old data on its head. Society is playing a game of catch up in the way we all collectively still view men, women, relationship dynamics, and sex.

A fascinating and enlightening read that will appeal to anyone interested in Psychology, Sociology, and/or Male/Female dynamics.
