I wasn't quite connecting with this one and I had to DNF with the possibility of picking up in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to read the book and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

I received a copy of this arc from NetGalley for an honest review. A people pleaser and a divorcee fall in love. Nothing really new or interesting for me.

Gabby Langdon is a people pleaser. She's a lawyer, a job she enjoys but doesn't feel passionate about, because it makes her father happy. What she does feel passionate about is writing and soon she feels likewise about her writing professor, Caden Marshall. Cade has returned to Angel Falls, with a successful novel under his belt and a bad case of writer's block. He is a single dad to Ava and has turned to teaching to provide a stable home for his daughter. The Way You Love Me is a small town romance with a big heart. Gabby and Cade's story, the second in the Angel Falls series, has plenty of humor and romance. Another great offering by author Miranda Liasson who should be an automatic on your TBR list!

I read this series out of order, and unfortunately I think that contributed to my not loving this book! Liasson writes very sweet, low angst, small town stories, but I think they may be too sweet for my taste? I enjoyed the final book in the trilogy more than this one. I really struggled to get into the storyline and found parts dragged on a bit. 2.5 stars

I love heading back to Angel Falls. I was so excited to see another love story unfold in this beautiful town. Gabby is an attorney who has a passion for trying new things and her latest project is writing. So she takes up a writing course run by a famous one time best seller author Caden Marshall. Sparks immediately fly during their very first introduction when he steals her parking spot and from there, the chemistry builds at a slow burn pace. He is a single father trying to do the right thing knowing he can't cross a line being her professor and she does not want to get involved with another man who does not have the same life plans she has set for herself.

I loved their journey, Nonna once again had me in stitches and I couldn't put this down, the characters are so well developed that you feel like you really know them and are invested in them finding their happiness. This was another fantastic read.

First, thank you for the opportunity to read and review this title. Access to review copies is always appreciated.
Unfortunately, I have chosen not to finish and review this title. I was not able to connect with it, and instead of finishing a title I was not connecting with, I have chosen to move on to another title.
Again, I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to the next title.

This is the first book I've read by this author and it is highly professional and enjoyable. A career lawyer in a small town wants a creative outlet, so she takes classes in creative writing. I did think the option of independent publishing should have been mentioned, but it was not, because of course this book was published the dinosaur way.
No great surprises when the lady starts to fall for the lecturer, a damp squib novelist whose one successful book was clouded over by his ex-wife accusing him of plagiarising her ideas. In other words a little like Educating Rita. The major difference is that this is an adult romance, and we get to see a lot of the town.

It’s nice being back in Angel Falls. And, I really enjoyed reading about a writer with writers block and an aspiring author. A couple who truly complimented each other both in the classroom and out.

Gabby has always done what people expected of her but never truly followed her heart. She was adrift for so long and is bored with her chosen profession. So, after photography, painting and other classes, it’s time for what she feels is a class in her hearts desire – writing … if she could make her first class on time.

Caden was accused of some nasty stuff that seems to have made him a one-hit wonder. Raising his daughter on his own, it’s time for him to settle down back home, give her a stable home life and try his damnest to get over his writer’s block. He doesn’t count on one Gabby Langdon to throw a wrench into all his plans. But, what a pleasant wrench it was.

I really enjoy small town romances. They are so heartwarming and interesting. Real life people with real life problems and ways to overcome them. True Love … that’s what Miranda Liasson writes. Pure, simple, complicated love. The Way You Love Me had it”s little twists and turns, an adorable little girl and two characters that will make you laugh and smile throughout the story.

There’s a certain charm that comes with small town romances and the Angel Falls series is a sweet one for sure. I was looking forward to THE WAY YOU LOVE ME because it features a hero who is a writer, single father, raising his little girl back in his small town. He’s also teaching a writing class and he falls for one of his students. The great thing about that is that even though it has the student/teacher trope both characters are the same age. This is a creative writing class taken by adults and our heroine is a successful lawyer who is curious about what her life could be if she follows in her passion.

While I enjoyed this story, it also lacked a little extra something to really keep me satisfied. Yes, there’s some push and pull between the hero and the heroine. The tropes are used very well and they made this story endearing. But somehow it was missing something I can’t quite put my finger on. The romance between the main characters, while adorable, didn’t excite me as much as … say… the romance between two side characters. The heroines’ brother who is a firefighter and the heroine’s best friend who is a baker. I think for me those two brought more spark to this story than the main couple. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy this story, because I did. But it wasn’t memorable.

Nevertheless, I do find Ms. Liasson’s writing perfect for the sweet small town trope and I’ll be checking out the next one as soon as it lands on my hands. I have a feeling that will be my favorite of the series.

I really enjoyed the way the characters of Gabby and Caden first met and the initial angst really made me buy into these characters.

As their relationship blossoms, you can really feel the characters’ growth.

I adored this book and can't wait until the next book in the series.

When you want a lovely afternoon's entertainment, do yourself a favor and pick up a novel from Miranda Liasson. The Angel Falls world is beautiful, almost idyllic, and the town is almost another character in the series. The Way You Love Me is a solid romance, featuring mature, layered characters both primary and secondary. I can see a great deal of potential in the character profiles of friends, relatives and colleagues. I think that what I most appreciated was Ms Liasson's attention to detail in setting her scenes and the overall setting of Angel Falls. I really enjoyed this journey to happily ever after and will seek out the rest ofthe series.
I received my copy through NetGalley under no obligation.

I love this Angel Falls series and book two did not leave me disappointed. The characters are wonderful. This book about Gabby and Cade is a very emotional story with some heartache, happiness, and a sexy college writing professor. Add to that a cute little girl named Ava and you have an emotional story that will touch your heart. The story made me happy when Gabby was happy and sad for her when things were not working out. It was also fun to see if the legend of Angel Falls would come true for this couple. I am so excited there is a third book in this series about Gabby's brother, Rafe and her best friend, Kaitlyn. I received an advance copy of this book and I chose to write an honest review.

The Way You Love Me is a charming book. The characters are well developed and the story is well written. This is book 2 but don't let that stop you. I liked everything about this book and will read the following books in this lovely series.

This is a fun series in Angel Falls. Gabby Langdon is a successful attorney who is bored and wants to be a writer. She decides to take a writing class at the local college. Her super handsome, sexy professor is a distraction that she can't handle.

Caden Marshall had one highly successful book and now has a horrible case of writer's block. His ex destroyed him and now he just wants to raise his young daughter, Ava, and provide for her but he can't stop thinking about Gabby, who is off limits because she is his student. She also helps with his research so they spend more time together. More time means more opportunities . . .

Is it possible for Caden to get over the damage his ex caused and risk his heart for true love with Gabby or will he settle for the safe bet? Sometimes you have a risk a little to get a lot!

I liked the romance of this story. It flowed well and the character were very well developed. I am not a fan of the descriptive sex scenes but it was a very romantic book, too. I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

Such a fun, heartwarming romance with a sweet, believable couple that it's a delight to root for. I loved this one! HIghly recommend.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

My rating 4.5 Stars

Gabby Langdon just made partner at her law firm and she should be deliriously happy. She does enjoy her job, but she has a bigger dream. Gabby wants to be a writer. Over the years, she has taken a lot of auxiliary classes trying to find her niche, and she knows without a doubt that it is writing. So, she takes a creative writing class.

Caden Marshall is a best-selling author who has taken a job as a professor. One of his students causes an immediate distraction. However, Cade has a lot of baggage. He was humiliated in the publishing world, he is divorced, and he is raising his four-year-old daughter on his own. Cade hopes being back in Angel Falls will put everything to rights, even if he never writes another book.

What are Cade and Gabby going to do now that it is clear that they are very attracted to one another. With regard to Cade, he really cannot date a student. it is unethical. As far as Gabby is concerned, she previously ended a serious relationship and doesn't want a fling or anything remotely like that. She is nearing thirty-one and is looking for a future. As drawn as she is to Cade, how can he be the man for her?

Just before I read this book, I read the first book in the series. I was quite drawn into the family with that book and this followed along just perfectly. Readers got to see who Gabby had dated previously and that gave a terrific basis for this story. However, the books do well as standalones.

We meet the adorable Nonna again, an Alzheimer sufferer, and I think she, as well as the rest of the family, fit quite well in this story. Despite Nonna's losses, she still has some great expressions to share. Also, there is a bit of a legend, touched on ever so slightly in these books, so there is no doubt at all that there will be a happy ending. Both Gabby and Cade are strong, enjoyable characters. I especially loved Cade and his relationship with his daughter Ava. For example, he Googles hairstyles for Ava.

For an enjoyable read, one that will leave you feeling refreshed - if not a bit attached to this lovely family - then I encourage you to grab this and the first book. This is the second book in the Angel Falls series and was preceded by Then There Was You, and then readers have All I Want for Christmas in September to look forward to. Rafe and Kaitlyn finally get there story. I definitely have been rooting for them.

Many thanks to Forever for this ARC for review in exchange for my honest opinion.

What a fun book. I really enjoyed it. The characters were on point. This is the first time I read Miranda Liasson, but will do so again.

This is the 2nd book in the Angel Falls series & just like the first book in the series I really enjoyed this one. Cade is a great single father who wants to do the best for his little girl. He was more broody when it was just him but when he was with his daughter he was a completely different person. I loved the interactions with him & Ava. I also enjoyed Gabby, who was tired of trying to please everyone and decided to take a class on writing. I liked the interactions between Gabby & Cade as both had some growing & learning to do.

Gabby likes to make everyone happy. She went to law school to make her dad happy. She keeps taking different classes to see what she likes and what will make her happy. She wants to be a writer so she takes writing classes. On the way to class a man takes her parkins spot as she was turning into it. He thinks his good looks will get him anything. She walks into class to realize that man is her writing professor. Cade is divorced with a young daughter that he is pretty much raising on his own. He has writer's block and doesn't know how to get over that. Then the attraction between Gabby and Cade shouldn't happen because of him being her professor.
I loved Gabby and how she looks out for family and how she took right to Cade's daughter. Cade is a great guy and needs to trust again after what his ex has done and his relationship with his dad is pretty much non existent. I can't wait for the next book.
