If You’re Not The One once again brings the reader into the world of Wedding Belles, the one stop shop for all your wedding needs and the lives of its three partners, Tessa, Natalie and Ama. This time they are hired to plan a society wedding where the groom is conspicuous by his absence and the bride to be seems to be like a fish out of water in the world she is about to become part of. On top of this they are very much dealing with issues in their personal lives that might just pull the team apart.
This is the third book in the Wedding Belles series but can be easily read as a standalone. I have read the second book so I was really looking forward to tucking into the latest instalment. Although the wedding and all the issues surrounding it is the main theme running through the book, the author also digs deeper into the personal lives of the three ladies behind the company which I rather enjoyed.
Natalie is juggling the pressures of the business along with preparing her original designs for her first fashion show. Added to this she is trying to work out just where her relationship with her boyfriend Chad is going. Relegated to dress advisor for the current wedding she doesn’t feel quite as bad that her time is divided. What amuses me about her is that she is a self-confessed unromantic (if that is a word) yet she works in a business that is all about romance and true love. But even an unromantic person can find the person who they are willing to take a chance with and Natalie eventually has to question herself and her feelings.
Ama on the other hand knows that she loves her boyfriend Luke but for her to follow her heart she has to find the courage to stand up to her parents and their beliefs and traditions and fight for what she believes will make her happy. You can’t help but feel for her as she comes close to putting the wishes of her family before that of her own, and it is probably something that happens more than we realise in real life too.
Tessa is the most frustrating of the lot. She is an excellent planner and good in any crisis that the latest wedding puts in her path… including that of the bride to be’s ex-boyfriend. Yet when it comes to her own love life she is a complete mess. She has had a crush on their handyman/sort of partner Blake for just about forever yet she just can’t bring herself to say/do anything about it which just drove me up the wall.
Do they all get what they want in the end and does the wedding go off without a hitch?? For the answer to that you really will have to read the book for yourself as I am giving nothing away. All I will say is that this is a fun read and a great addition to the series.

I found this book very romantic yet entertaining. I was hoping to read something uplifting and this was it. I always love a book that has characters that I want to know what’s next for them after the book ends.

I could not really get into this book at all. I felt no empathy with the characters. I think it is just not my type of book. Sorry.

Thank you to Netgalley for my copy.

Being a die hard fan of weddings, this series about wedding planners is of course straight up my alley.

I have read the previous parts as well and I was very keen to devour the sequel.

As usual the Wedding Belles take us on a journey from the first appointment with the happy couple all the way through to their vows and in the meantime they deal with their own (lack of) romance and busy lives.

Well, Cupid is a very busy little angel in this book. I think he might have used his complete stock of arrows because love is certainly in the air. He made some (un)expected matches.

I wonder what the future will bring ...

A lovely romantic story where true love conquers all. Sometimes maybe a bit too slow paced but nevertheless very enjoyable and entertaining. 4 stars.

Thank you, Laura Briggs, Bookouture and Netgalley.

3 women start a wedding planning business. This story is about them, their love interests and clients. A story of love and relationships. It is a sweet story of strong women, their friendship and their romances. I enjoyed the story curled up on the sofa on a bitter cold day. i highly recommend it. Thanks to the author, publisher and Net Galley for the opportunity to read the advanced copy.

The third in a series of books about three women who run a wedding business, this can easily be read as a standalone. For those unfamiliar with the group, there's Tess, Ana, and Natalie and this one is Natalie's story. She's a dress designer who claims not to believe in, well, all that stuff. She's torn between Chad and Brayden, both guys who deserve honesty. Natalie's designing a dress for Harper, who is marrying a rich but uninvolved guy- or will she? This is light chick lit perfect for a day when you want to read something where the pages will slip through your fingers. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

3.5 stars - I enjoyed the characters & their stories. The concept of three friends working to get their wedding planning business of the ground was interesting. The descriptions of the events, locations & couples they helped kept me involved. However, the plot seemed to ramble & was disjointed when it switched between the three women. It was a good romantic story that many will enjoy.

The version of this book I received to review downloaded with the title “You Can’t Hurry Love”. This is the intertwined tale of the three main partners of wedding planning business Wedding Belles located in Bellegrove in the southeastern United States. Tessa began the business when she purchased the old Victorian in the old town section. Contractor Blake started working on the house to make it into the work/live space Tessa imagines, become a background partner.

College friend Natalie came on board as fashion designer and consultant. Another friend, Ama, is the resident baker and food consultant. Both Natalie and Ama also have side businesses they are juggling. The story juxtaposes the lives, particularly the romantic aspects of their lives, around the core story of the society wedding of the year they are planning for travel agent Harper Lucas and her millionaire fiancé Brett Winship.

Descriptions of exotic locales and elegant clothing abound. The characters are likable and believable. However, at times it became difficult to follow the thread as presented. It was almost as though there was enough story to have created a trilogy around the three main characters and their individual stories. While the overall story is enjoyable, it’s choppiness I found to be a distraction. That said, followers of this genre will be entertained.

This book was the third in the series of stories about Tessa, Natalie and Ama, who are running a wedding planning business together. I have enjoyed reading about the adventures of the three of them, and their hunky handyman, as well as their brides and other people associated with having a business of this type. I also liked the descriptions of their family members and I thought that this story could easily be read as a standalone.

I liked the premise of this book very much - a bride who is marrying someone who is super rich but who delegates most of his life to others, including being present at planning to do with his own wedding! How far will you go to marry someone, in order to have financial security? Can you marry someone that you can't truly be yourself with? These questions and more, are answered in this book :)

I also liked the sparks between the main characters and the men they were romantically interested in, and that there were descriptions of romantic scenes that were OK to let your twelve year old read.

However, it was overly long and I found myself getting a bit impatient for the story to keep on moving forward. I am sorry, it really needs to be a bit more succinct, in my opinion.

4 stars from me. This book was good, but not quite as good as the other two.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture.

I could not get into this book and did not finish. The characters just didn't work for me. After reading the first few chapters I had to go back to re-read who each of the main characters were as I left they were all written in the same voice, indistinguishable from the other. This book was just not for me.

I enjoyed reading If You’re Not The One, and found it a decent lighthearted romance.
Natalie, Tessa and AMA have a wedding planning business which they love. Their business is thriving and they are asked to put on a Society wedding which will put their name on the map. The bride, Harper, is marrying into money and appears to be out of her depth in the grooms family and friends. Her penniless ex boyfriend appears to put a spoke in the wheel of the wedding and try to win her back.
Natalie’s family are desperate for her to find someone to settle down with so she is in the middle of a showmance to keep her family off her back.
AMA has found who she believes to be the One, but when he proposes it makes her question their relationship.
Tessa has feelings for someone she believes is engaged to another woman.
I struggled a bit with Natalie’s relationship with Brayden who had a crush on her since they were young.
If she was so horrible to him, why would he stick around? He appeared to be a bit of a doormat, accepting how badly he was treated rather than just thr nice guy he was.
Other than that I enjoyed their stories to the conclusion of everyone’s happy ending.

This is a lovely romantic book about wedding planners.
However I felt this book was slow and dragged out

Honestly, I wasn’t a fan. It was hard to finish. The dialogue was slow and at times didn’t make sense. This one was not for me.

Would probably give it 2 1./2, as I struggled with this one a bit. Confusing having two titles of the book. Please pick one and stick with it. This is part of a story of three women who run a wedding planning service. At times it was hard to keep track of who was who, and the blurb in the beginning of how mean Natalie was to Brayden, who for some reason adored her. Maybe it is my age, but since I am 50+ the twenty-somethings seem so immature to me. Struggled to stay involved, and really didn't like the characters. Gave points for effort, and if you are that age you would like it much more than me.

Natalie goes to school for fashion design. She has a high school friend Brayden who is dyeing to go out with her but she wants nothing to do with him. After school Natalie opens up a wedding shop with a few friends. She designs the wedding dresses by hand. Natalie has a not so serious boyfriend Chad and not sure she believes I love. Natalie starts to have a crush on Brayden when she realizes he has changed.

This was an ok read. Three friends start a wedding planning business together. The story explores their love interests as well. I read the egalley with the title You Can't Hurry Love and its listed under a different title, so that's a bit mystifying. The story was quite predictable and dragged in places,

I read the first book One Day Like This and it was nice to have a follow up and to go a little more into Natalie's storyline. It is a fun chick-lit book that was a quick read. I didn't love the characters as much in this book as the first. They still seem so naive and young.

This is about Natalie, Tessa and Ama who run a wedding planning agency together. I liked how each of the 3 woman has got a different personality. This is a lovely romance, though it was a little slow at times.
