As always, this title was exceptionally helpful in getting a sample of many forthcoming titles without having the time to devote to reading all of the titles in their entirety, and are particularly helpful in creating social media hype around the release of the titles.

I loved reading exerts from this book! They included such a wide variety of genre's in fiction and no=fiction. I have made note of some of the books I want to read. The Guest Book, The Girl He Used to Know, Beautiful Bad, and The Baby of the Family. I have read The Last Time I Saw You by Liv Constantine and absolutely loved it! The two sisters Lynn and Valerie make an awesome writing pair. Thank you for this collection, it is very intriguing and I hope to get to more of the titles!

Lots to read here. Like the opportunity to read synopsis of each book. Netgalley has become a “go to place” for me to request books.

I’ve been a fan of buzz books for a few years now. My list of books to be read after reading buzz book gets longer each time! The new titles are quite intriguing as I am thinking of reading some titles/books that I would not normally read in faction. I am excited about the nonfiction titles and can’t wait to read the book as soon as it comes out. An interesting assortment of new books are coming!

Disclaimer: I received an arc of this book from the author/publisher from Netgalley. I wasn’t obligated to write a favorable review or any review at all. The opinions expressed are strictly my own.

I LOVE seeing the "Publixher's Lunch" Buzz Books for the season. I plan a five-author lecture series and am aggressively looking for books that will be next year's "hot book." This is a tremendous resource for me.

I love reading through this collection of new work! It’s a great tool for helping me sift through the abundance of new novels without having to read them all and I can get through the excerpts quickly. I will request the Buzz Books compilations until the end of time. A true asset for any reviewer.

It's always nice to see what's scheduled for release and being able to read the excerpts helps me organize which books I want to read and when. Thanks!

Thank you Publishers Lunch for compiling such a fabulous book! All the fantastic lead-ins to books coming out has extended my read list beyond the margins. Each small preview was a good read in itself, but left one hungry for more. Of course, that is the whole idea. Having a compilation of the best books keeps me from having to look through mountains of titles myself. There is something here for everyone. I look forward to the Fall installment to keep my reading list robust!

Gives summaries of the upcoming releases, and they do so for fiction /non-fiction books. This is an easy way to keep a tab on the books up for release and making requests for reviews.

“Buzz Books 2019” includes excerpts from quite a few new books that are soon to be published or have recently been published. Although there is a large list at the beginning, the ones actually included in this book have been starred. Genres include fiction and nonfiction. I read some of them, and others I skimmed or skipped altogether. The excerpts are quite lengthy in most cases, and give the potential reader a good “taste” of what to expect in the full length book. I plan to read several of them in their entirety, based on these excerpts. I am particularly interested in "Glory Road" and "The Guest Book."

I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

Excellent smorgasbord of upcoming titles. I use this to help get ideas for books to pitch to reviews editors.

I began reading Buzz Books in 2016, when I got a copy of the 2016 Fall / Winter edition, and I was impressed with the information about the upcoming books, but most of all, the excerpts – which typically include the first few chapters.

If you have favourite authors (and who doesn’t?), this is a great way to find out of one of your favourites is coming out with a new book that you haven’t heard about – yet. If you like to check out new and upcoming authors, this gives you a taste of their writing and whether or not you’re tempted to read more. You want to know which best-selling authors are coming out with new books, they include those, as well.

Since this is the Spring / Summer edition, quite a few of these have already been published, but there are still some that I was very curious about several books, including debut author Ocean Vuong’s On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous, Sarah Blake’s Naamah, Kira Jane Buxton’s Hollow Kingdom as well as many others, too many others to name them all.

Publisher’s Lunch Buzz Books includes a Fiction section, within that it is broken down to: Commercial, The Notables, Emerging Voices, Debut and Highly Anticipated. Non-Fiction covers Science and Technology, Social Issues, Politics and Current Events, History, Biography and Memoir and more. They also have separate editions for Young Adult as well as Romance.

Available through NetGalley for members, or directly through Publisher’s Lunch at http://buzz.publishersmarketplace.com/

Many thanks for the ARC provided by Publishers Lunch / Buzz Books

Buzz Books 2019 is a dangerous thing... if your pile of books is already too large, then you will want to avoid this book! You will want to read everything that is listed! Truly an asset as you go to pick your summer reads. Enjoyed this so much!
