This was the first time I've read Buzz Books - what a great resource! I'm especially excited about Cecelia Ahern's story collection, Lindy West's latest, and Melanie Golding's mystery that was already optioned to become a movie (how!?). I'm intrigued by Jill Abramson's Merchants of Truth: The Business of News the Fight for Facts, John Carlos Frey's Sand and Blood: America's Stealth War on the Mexico Border, and Maureen Callahan's American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century. And I have high hopes for Real Queer America: LGBT Stories from Red States (by Samantha Allen), Words No Bars Can Hold: Literacy Learning in Prison (Deborah Appleman), and No Visible Bruises: What We Don't Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us (Rachel Louise Snyder). (Plus I already know I'll be purchasing a copy of Nothing's Bad Luck: The Lives of Warren Zevon as a gift for someone!)

I looked through these and none of them were by any well known authors! Not sure how they are buzz books.

I just finished checking out the Young Adult Buzz Books reference collection so now I must check out the Adult Fiction/ Nonfiction. I made myself a goal this year to read more Adult fiction so this resource will help me prepare my tbr. 2019 looks to be setting up to be a great year for literature. I definitely recommend this resource. You won't be disappointed.

This is the first time I have looked at the Buzz Books. Great list of books to look forward to. The only down side is quite a few books were not available.

Buzz Books is a most useful resource book for reviewers and educators. I can plan when I find a novel that will fit into my classroom reading library or to add to the syllabus. Thank you for generously offering this to NetGalley members.

It's very nice to read some of these excerpts, notably Moby's book, the follow-up to his first autobiographical book. I'm waiting for more, graciously, and impatiently.

Absolutely love the opportunity to preview much anticipated titles as well as to see publication schedules in order to plan my own reading and purchases for my school library throughout the year.

Very helpful in finding new books and authors as well as testing out the style of a book before purchasing and not enjoying it, making sure that the books go to people that will appreciate them.

So many awesome books to preview! There's a little bit of everything here! Those I'm most looking forward to reading that have excerpts are The Girl He Used to Know by Tracey Garvis Graves and The Snakes by Sandie Jones. Others noted are: The Better Sister by Alafair Burke, Run Away by Harlan Coben, Life and Other Inconveniences by Kristan Higgins, Summer of '69 by Elin Hilderbrand, Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid (I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ONE!!!), and Lock Every Door by Riley Sager.

Buzz Books is a great way to get a glimpse at upcoming releases. I have yet to not find at least 6 books to add to my TBR list. If you aren't familiar with these books, each one provides highlights and excerpts from fiction and nonfiction books that are being released. Many have a link to NetGalley so you can request those that have piqued your interest( or preorder or put on hold at the library or add to your Want to Read shelf).
After finishing the Spring/Summer 2019 edition, I am most excited for Roar by Cecelia Ahern, Bunny by Mona Awad, The Last Time I Saw You by Liv Constantine, A Nearly Normal Family by M.T. Edvardsson, The Whisper Man by Alex North, and Ellie and the Harpmaker by Haze Prior( actually, there are more but I figured I should stop at 6). I have always found new authors through Buzz Books that I might otherwise have missed. Thanks to Publishers Lunch for all the effort putting these guides together for all of us book lovers!
