Very excited to check out some of these books and thankful for the opportunity to have a chance to check them out early.

This is such a good publication to get hold of to find out about the young adult books coming up in the future. I've had this for a long time (forgot to review it earlier-sorry) and it has been briliant at highlighting some of the young adult books I am very interested in reading for the summer. I didn't read every simgle exceprt as some books were not to my taste as much as others, but I'm looking forward to getting hold of future Buzz Books.

I love getting to read these small excerpts to see what's coming and what I might be interested in. I really enjoyed Romanov and To Best the Boys from this, and did end up reading the full copies later.

I cant wait to get my hands on more beautiful covers also!! The artwork for books in 2019 has been spectacular to say the least, I cant wait for the rest of the year!!

I would love to thank Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for offering these amazing books for free in exchange for an honest review.

These Buzz Books releases are Young Adult excerpts from this spring and summer!
We can read excerpts from:
Bloodleaf (Bloodleaf, #1) by Crystal Smith by Crystal Smith - This one is really interesting and it's on my list!
Descendant of the Crane by Joan He by Joan He - It wasn't on my list but who knows? The story isn't that bad at all!
Once & Future (Once & Future, #1) by Amy Rose Capetta by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy - This book is really cool! I mean the premise and everything! It's a little weird as of the narrative style, but again, the story has potential and I do want to read it!
Operatic by Kyo Maclear by Kyo Maclear and Byron Eggenschwiler - This is a graphic book with a beautiful story as you go on, but I wasn't much of a fan for the illustrations.
Outcasts (Ferryman #3) by Claire McFall by Claire McFall - This was the only excerpt I haven't read because it is the final book in this trilogy and I like the synopsis of the first one so I decided to read the whole trilogy and I didn't want to get any spoilers.
A Place For Wolves by Kosoko Jackson by Kosoko Jackson - I was skeptical of this one after I've read a woman's review on Goodreads about the fact that the author chose a place and a time period that were real and recent in our history and he did everything wrong, and she explains everything exactly! And if you read the synopsis of this book on Goodreads, at the beginning of it, you can see that the author already talked with the publisher to not publish his book anymore.
Please Send Help (I Hate Everyone But You, #2) by Gaby Dunn by Gaby Dunn - This book is actually the second in a series and it was one of my favourites in this Buzz book. I can't wait to read it!
Romanov by Nadine Brandes by Nadine Brandes - My favourite excerpt from the whole book! I am not really into historical (fiction, romance, etc), but this book is written so beautiful! I can't wait to buy it and read it!
Les Disparus du Clairdelune by Christelle Dabos (The missing of Clairdelune) by Christelle Dabos - It's actually book two of The Mirror Visitor Quartet. It was interesting, so I'll read the first book for sure!
To Best the Boys by Mary Weber by Mary Weber - I am excited for this book since before it would came out, but I couldn't understand much from this excerpt. I think I'll give it a shot, though.
Voices The Final Hours of Joan of Arc by David Elliott by David Elliott - It's a weird little book that I didn't root for at all!
William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Mean Girls by Ian Doescher by Ian Doescher - I liked this play at first, but then it became annoying. It wasn't really my thing, but it could be yours!

Other titles that presented my interest or that I already wanted to read:
With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo by Elizabeth Acevedo
Sky Without Stars (System Divine, #1) by Jessica Brody by Jessica Brody

Buzz Books are perhaps my favorite items on NetGalley because they are packed with information about publishing dates, new authors, returning favorite authors and excerpts. This particular edition is about books launching in the Spring and Summer of 2019 in the Young Adults (YA) genre.

There are twelve books I believe, including a graphic novel type book which I thought was neat to see in here. It's a good round up of different types of books from a variety of authors.

Yes, yes, and yes! Sometimes I read through these and struggle to find more than a handful of stories that I am truly interested in enough to want to read the whole book but that is not the case with this anthology. I can't tell you how many of these excerpts have turned into a full fledged book that has been added to my TBR pile. This is like the best one I have read through to date. I can't wait to dive in the YA Fall/Winter one next.

I always enjoy getting to read samples of upcoming YA releases! I particularly appreciated the inclusion of Once and Future, which is definitely one of my most anticipated reads of the year. Queer Arthurian legend retelling in space! What's not to love.

One of my new favorite books! This author has such a way with words the pages flew by in no time! I can’t wait to see the next work by this author! This was such a joy to read!

I love these samplers as they are a wonderful way to find upcoming books that I want to read and to also discover new authors.

Thank you for the great opportunity to read portions of new books. I think how they are presented really allows me to help my students find new books. It also gives me some ideas of the new major themes of books to allow me to better use journal questions to help them give me more information.

I love receiving samples of books which are popular and some unheard of. It allows me to get a glimpse into books I would normally not choose to pick up, and novels that are on my radar.

Just as with all of the others in this series, this title is always very helpful with having the opportunity to review a large array of forthcoming titles without being bogged down by trying to read all of them in their entirety.

I always look forward to reading these preview collections so I can get a whole lot of other preorders lined up at my local bookstore, or hunt the rest of the book out on netgalley or edelweiss.

Books I've now put on preorder are:

A Place for Wolves
Romanov
Voices

And I've already got Descendant of the Crane for review, so now I'm going to get back to reviewing that title.

As always, thoroughly enjoyed this sampler. Great choice to stay up to date with what's trendy on the publishing scene.

Will alway get the new sampler they put out.

Preparing My Summer Reading List!

I love these compilations which give you a taste of what's coming out next season. I've already got 'Romanovs' and 'Much Ado About Mean Girls' on my holiday vacation to read list!

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is another amazing selection of Young Adult books, due to be released in the first half of the year. Several titles have already found their way onto my tbr.

I find it more difficult to navigate YA books than Adult, probably because my age group is Adult, but also because I tend to avoid fantasy and romance, which is a large proportion of the YA writing. For this reason I particularly appreciate the Buzz Books collection which allows me to skim past those that do not interest me and find the excellent titles that I am most likely to enjoy and award 5 stars.

From this selection I was particularly attracted to Romanov (Historical fiction) and definitely called by Kyo Maclear's artwork. I was also reminded that Mrcus Zusak has a new book that I must read.

Thanks for another fab collection.
