I hate to give a bad review on a book, but I just could not get into this book. I tried 3 times to read it and couldn't. Maybe it's just me.  Please don't let my review stop you from giving this book a try. Thank you Azure House via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book.

I'm sorry but I could not finish the book. Previously, I have enjoyed books that jumped back and forth from the past to the present, that had multiple story lines that converged into one common thread, but those parts of this book were not that well done. On top of that, I felt like I was constantly reading a sermon. If I wanted an expanded sermon of Peter's sermon in Acts 2, I would just open my Bible and read Acts 2. Others may like this book, but I did not. I will not post this review on my book club Facebook pages or on other web sites.
