I really loved the premise of the diary, it grab my attention immediately. If that alone was what I was rating it for it would have easily been five stars. Unfortunately the plot fell a little flat. There was no on the edge of my seat anticipation, or the turning from one page to the next with bated breath. With all that being said it was still a fun read, with likable characters and enough of a pull to keep me curious till the end..😊

An interesting read , I enjoyed this but felt it was a bit confused to who it’s target audience was. I felt it was aimed at middle grade but it kept aiming for older readers. The story was interesting and kept you involved but I think on the whole not really my book, but I am sure lots would enjoy this.

I thought this book was very good. I enjoyed reading it and would definitely put it into my library.

The Diary is a creepy story about a book with some kind of magical powers. The premise is unique and fun. I think middle readers will enjoy this book. It's got action, a little mystery, and it's engaging enough to keep the intrest of the age group. The characters are likeable and relatable. Overall a good read. I was drawn to this book initially from the cover. I just love the design. The premise of the storyline had me intrigued, so I am really happy I was given this chance to read it before publication.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I thought the storyline was well written with realistic and relatable characters. I was hooked early on, and certainly cannot wait to read more from this author.
Well worth a read.
