I never get enough sleep and reading this book actually helped. It wasn’t new ideas or concepts for me but maybe more of conditioning and reminders of past advice

There are a number of tips to help you get to sleep and stay asleep. Being a person who experiences problems staying asleep and being tired, I am looking forward to trying some of these tips.

I voluntarily agreed to read a copy of this book supplied by NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own and in no way have been influenced.

This book gives you an in-depth look at sleep. It not only focuses on how to get better sleep, but also what sleep is. It is very well organizes as well. I found it nice that the I was able to skip to the area I wanted to learn about and then go back to read the rest later. I definitely learned a lot.

This book is for those who want better sleep, but also for those who simply want to learn about sleep. This book uses beginner vocabulary and is easy to read. The book is well-researched and informative. I truly think it's a book we all should read. It's important to know about sleep.

A holistic approach and complete guide to getting a good night's sleep, backed up by current thinking and research. I found this book highly absorbing, interesting and it made complete sense. It's not all about pill popping either, rather it's about effective and natural ways to adjust your routine and lifestyle to offer you the optimum chance of both falling asleep and then staying asleep.

Many thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this ARC for which I have given my voluntary and unbiased review.

This is a fascinating read full of tips and tools to help you sleep better. A lot of this is common sense but sometimes we need to think about the way we sleep and where and how in a different light. I won’t be removing my dog from my bed however as cuddling my little girl when she’s snoring is the greatest thing in the world.

This is a fascinating read for anyone
Simply curious about the science of sleep. I found it interesting about the reasons for sleep, the process of falling asleep and the remembering of dreams.
The chapter regarding older people was personally useful as my father suffers from COPD and is currently struggling to sleep. The chapter not only gave me an insight into why he might be struggling, but gave me some advice that I hope to put into practice.

Lack of sleep is not just a matter of feeling tired. Recent research has shown that it is associated with serious illnesses. The big question is, what can we do to get more sleep? The Introduction answers four basic questions: What is sleep? What is dreaming? What is tiredness? What is fatigue?

The Expert Guide to Sleeping Well by Chris Idzikowski takes a fascinating look at the history of sleep, showing how social and environmental factors have affected human experience. It tells what science has made of sleep in an easy-to-follow style. It also tells you how to manage your sleep with specific advice for workers, parents, drivers and flyers.

It helps with sleep problems too, including insomnia, breathing disorders, circadian clock disorders, nightmares and movement disorders. The ending gives practical tips and guidelines, including a directory of sleeping pills and potions, from pharmaceutical stand-bys to home-brewed herbal teas.

This is an efficient and easy to read. It has plenty of tips to help with just about any issue you have with sleeping. I've struggled with sleep and insomnia for a long time and found that these tips have helped me greatly.

For the past ten years I’ve never had a night where I slept for more than 5 hours. I desperately wanted to read this book, hoping it would have answers for me. What I love about this book is that it’s educational and practical. Chris Idzikowski does an amazing job of scientifically explaining what sleep is in a way that’s easy to follow. This is the first sleep book I’ve read that wasn’t boring. I can’t wait to put in to practice the suggestions made in this book.
